Chapter 169: The Divine Beast Field Under the Prison? !

Electivire seemed to notice Zhang Heng's anomaly and suddenly walked towards him.

Zhang Heng's heart tightened, and he instinctively gripped the broom in his hand. He glanced at Zhu Zi, who also looked nervous, and both of their steps paused slightly.

Just as Electivire was about to get close, Zhang Heng suddenly had an idea. He bent down, pretending to meticulously clean the gap in the floor tile, and deliberately stirred up dust around it with the broom, attempting to conceal the blue light.

Zhu Zi understood immediately and quickly helped, fanning the dust with his hand and muttering, "This dust is really thick, we need to clean it thoroughly."

Electivire approached and stared at them suspiciously for a while, snorting a few times from its nose, as if judging whether their actions were suspicious.

Zhang Heng forced himself to remain calm, squeezed out a flattering smile, nodded towards Electivire, and swung the broom with even more vigor.

Electivire acted just like an old leader inspecting work, patting Zhang Heng on the shoulder, seemingly very satisfied with the 'temporary worker's' diligent and responsible attitude. It even praised him vocally.

"Yosh..."

Fortunately, Electivire did not linger. After observing for a moment, it turned and slowly walked back to its original position, continuing to monitor the entire area.

Zhang Heng subtly let out a sigh of relief. Once Electivire had completely walked away, he slowly squatted down and gently brushed away the dust with the broom again. As the dust cleared, the blue light became clearer, and he could vaguely see something shimmering beneath.

"There seems to be something underneath. We need to find a way to pry open the floor tile and see," Zhang Heng whispered to Zhu Zi. Zhu Zi looked around, his gaze falling on the broom in his hand. He pretended to casually kick off the broom head, obtaining a simple pry bar.

After getting the pry bar, Zhu Zi, while Electivire wasn't paying attention, quickly inserted one end of the pry bar into the gap of the floor tile and gently pried. With a soft 'click,' the floor tile loosened slightly.

The two carefully moved the floor tile aside and discovered that beneath the floor, everything was composed of dark blue crystals. Blue electrical currents occasionally flashed within the crystals, as if containing immense energy.

Zhu Zi looked at what was beneath the ground and asked, "What is this? A giant Thunder Stone?"

Zhang Heng also offered his opinion, responding, "It looks like it should be an accompanying object of some powerful Pokémon, not an item, but a product born after being influenced by a Pokémon."

Zhang Heng's system ability didn't give him any hints, indicating that the crystals underground were not items. Zhang Heng couldn't quite figure it out, but his Dragon-type affinity could clearly sense that it contained not only electric-type energy but also the Dragon-type energy he was familiar with.

Zhang Heng thought about taking a portion of the crystals first and then slowly studying them. He commanded, "Marshtomp, Mach Punch, knock a piece off."

Upon hearing this, Marshtomp's punch was extremely fast, striking instantly. With a soft 'thump,' a small piece of crystal was knocked off.

Before they could examine it closely, a rapid series of footsteps suddenly came from behind them. It was Electivire, who had heard the commotion and sensed something amiss, now furiously rushing over, followed by a dense swarm of Magnemite and Magneton guards.

Zhang Heng didn't think twice. He grabbed the crystal, stuffed it into his embrace, exchanged a look with Zhu Zi, and shouted, "Run!" The two, with their Pokémon, ran towards the depths of the underground power station.

Electivire pursued relentlessly from behind, electricity crackling around its body. Coupled with the electromagnetic sounds emitted by the Magnemite army floating behind it, the momentum was immense. The two in front felt their scalps tingle and dared not look back, running for their lives.

"What's going on? Why are there so many Magnemite?"

"Don't talk, hurry and find some cover."

In their panic, they turned into a narrow passage. The passage was filled with an old scent, and some ancient paintings hung on the walls. The paintings were somewhat dilapidated, but they could vaguely see a knight holding a sword and shield, resisting something, as if narrating the prison's sealed past.

Zhang Heng paid attention to his surroundings as he ran, trying to find an exit or a place to temporarily hide. Suddenly, he found a half-open stone door ahead. The door was carved with strange symbols that seemed familiar, as if he had seen them in a game in his previous life?

"Get in!" Zhang Heng shouted, and he and Zhu Zi pushed the door open and entered. Behind the door was a long, narrow secret room, empty and extending deep inside, but the walls were all composed of the blue crystals they had seen earlier.

At this moment, Electivire's roar outside the door grew closer, and their situation became increasingly critical. Dealing with Electivire outside wasn't difficult, but the dense army of Magnemite was the most troublesome.

Roar! A fierce beast's roar, accompanied by a strong gust of wind, came from the depths of the secret room. Zhang Heng was startled by this sudden, immense roar. What was strange was that even Electivire and the Magnemite outside the door dared not enter, lingering just outside the stone door.

Zhang Heng, caught between a rock and a hard place, felt torn and unsure of what to choose. Zhu Zi, on the other hand, was somewhat excited, because he was too familiar with this roar, so familiar that he felt a sense of security.

"Zhang Heng, follow me."

After speaking, Zhu Zi took the lead and walked into the long, narrow passage of this secret room, and he walked faster and faster, completely disregarding whether any accidents might occur along the way.

"Zhu Zi, be careful, don't be too hasty."

Zhang Heng reminded him appropriately, but Zhu Zi's pace became faster and faster, so much so that Zhang Heng could barely keep up. He even suspected that he might have been 'possessed' by a Ghost-type Pokémon?

Zhu Zi walked further and further ahead, and Zhang Heng also jogged to catch up. The path was all downhill, and these roads spiraled downwards. Zhang Heng didn't even know how many meters underground they were.

But he could clearly feel his breathing becoming difficult, and his gasps growing heavier, a clear sign of oxygen deprivation underground.

After a period of chasing, Zhang Heng finally saw Zhu Zi's figure. He stood in front of the last independent space, enveloped by a dark blue electric glow, seemingly having made some kind of decision, and then walked inside, his entire body disappearing into it.

Zhang Heng's eyes widened, shocked and daring not to approach. He muttered, "Is this a Divine Beast Field? Underneath a prison? How is that possible?"

Zhang Heng had encountered Divine Beast Fields many times and could distinguish them very clearly, but even the Divine Beast Field formed by Single Strike Style Urshifu was not as profound as the one before him.

In the dark blue Divine Beast Field ahead, violent blue electric glows constantly flickered, and Haze covered this entire underground area. Zhang Heng began to connect the dots: the mysterious symbols he saw on the way before entering this secret room? The blue crystals?

"So what kind of Divine Beast Pokémon is inside the Divine Beast Field?"
