Chapter 4: News from Tony Stark

Chapter 4: Tony Stark's News

After tracking down the identity of the person who sold Eric the bomb via the dark web, Lynn Hall immediately led his Agents to make the arrest.

The two people who sold Eric the custom bomb were two Middle Eastern men.

"Boss, these two guys are actually poor!"

Shaun, who had finished searching the room, looked at the two Middle Eastern men kneeling on the ground with disdain.

He then placed a pile of IOUs in front of Lynn Hall: "Boss, according to what's written on the IOUs, these two guys bought bomb-making materials from over a dozen suppliers and then made them themselves."

"The largest IOU is for 30,000 U.S. dollars, and the smallest is for 2,000 U.S. dollars."

Lynn Hall found it somewhat absurd looking at the IOUs Shaun handed over: "Not only are there debts, but they even wrote down such detailed evidence? Have the guys in the black market lost their minds?"

"Who knows?"

Hearing Lynn Hall's jest, Shaun shrugged: "I also find it a bit absurd. When did those guys in the black market start allowing IOUs?"

"That's because our credit is very good, and we've been cooperating with these guys for three years, so they allow us to delay payment temporarily."

"They don't know about these IOUs; we wrote them down ourselves because we were afraid of forgetting."

One of the Middle Eastern men looked at Lynn Hall and said: "Mr. of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, if we confess everything, can we be spared from death?"

Facing the Middle Eastern man's question, Lynn was about to speak.

The other Middle Eastern man said very sincerely: "Sir, please don't lie to us. We are from the Middle East, and we deal with the God of Death every day."

"So I can sense whether you will truly let us go or kill us after questioning."

Listening to the two Middle Eastern men, Lynn leaned back on the sofa and smiled at Shaun: "These two guys aren't stupid after all!"

Saying that, Lynn looked at the two men: "Only valuable people are qualified to live, so don't waste my time!"

After receiving Lynn Hall's promise, one of the Middle Eastern men immediately said: "Sir, we belong to the Hulseger armed force. We came to New York three years ago."

"The bombs for the Brooklyn explosion in New York were made by us two brothers, including the Los Angeles terrorist attack two years ago; the bombs they used were also bought from us!"

Hearing the Middle Eastern man's words, Shaun crossed his arms and smiled: "Boss, those guys in Los Angeles are really sloppy in their work? After this is over, we'll have some fun to watch."

Hearing Shaun's words, Lynn Hall nodded, looked at the two Middle Eastern men, and continued to ask: "Why did you appear in New York? And what is your purpose?"

Facing Lynn Hall's inquiry, the other Middle Eastern man immediately said: "Officer, originally, our Hulseger was one of the largest armed forces in the Middle East, possessing tens of thousands of square kilometers of territory."

"But four years ago, an armed force suddenly rose. Not only did they have a large number of people, but they also possessed advanced weapons manufactured by Stark Industries."

"In just one year, they annexed dozens of surrounding forces and even drove us out of our homeland!"

At this point, the Middle Eastern man's expression was very angry: "We united with other armed forces to try and eliminate them, but Stark Industries' weapons were too advanced; we were no match at all."

"This is also why we came to New York, because we need money. For the past three years, besides keeping what we needed, all the money from selling bombs..."

Before the Middle Eastern man could finish, Lynn Hall directly interrupted: "You mean, someone secretly funded this suddenly rising armed force and also provided them with weapons manufactured by Stark Industries?"

"Yes, Officer, and as far as I know, they are the only armed force that possesses Stark Industries' weapons!"

Hearing the two men say this, Lynn Hall began to ponder.

Tony Stark was attacked and went missing two and a half months ago when he went to the Middle East to demonstrate weapons.

Based on his understanding of the Iron Man plot and the report made by Military Colonel Rhodes.

The armed force that attacked Tony Stark and his people was using weapons manufactured by Stark Industries.

Therefore, the missing Tony Stark might be in the hands of those people.

Thinking of this, Lynn Hall looked at the two Middle Eastern men and said: "Can you find the stronghold of this force?"

"Of course!"

Feeling the killing intent vanish from Lynn's body, the two Middle Eastern men immediately nodded and said: "Sir, the Middle East is our homeland, so we can easily find them!"

Having received an accurate answer, Lynn Hall put away his pistol and stood up from the sofa: "Shaun, take them back!"

"Yes!"

Hearing Lynn's order, Shaun immediately had the action team members take the two Middle Eastern men away!

Half an hour later, inside the New York Federal Bureau of Investigation Building.

"Rich, not resting so late?"

Arriving at Agent Supervisor Rich Hood's office, Lynn Hall asked with a smile.

【Rich Hood's Favorability: 7】

"You're back?"

Seeing Lynn Hall push the door open and walk in, Rich Hood motioned for Lynn to sit down, and at the same time, opened the desk drawer and took out a cigar, handing it to Lynn.

"Thanks, but I'm not used to this!"

Sitting opposite Rich Hood, Lynn waved his hand, then took out a cigarette and lit it for himself.

"Sigh, with such a big incident happening in Brooklyn, the Director was furious, so I, this old guy, naturally have to work overtime!"

Seeing Lynn refuse, Rich Hood lit his cigar and said: "Is it handled?"

"It's handled. We can hold a press conference tomorrow!"

Saying that, Lynn Hall placed the briefcase on the table and opened it. Inside were all the 'flour' confiscated from the Digital Gang.

"It seems like you had a good haul tonight!"

Rich Hood glanced at the full case of 'flour' on the table and smiled: "There should be about two million, right?"

"Roughly!"

"Then let's stick to the old rules."

Rich Hood put down his cigar, closed the briefcase, and said with a chuckle.

The so-called 'old rules' meant that Lynn and Rich Hood, the Agent Supervisor, each deducted 15% of the profit, and only the remainder was submitted to the Bureau.

He placed the black briefcase under his desk.

Only then did Rich Hood chuckle and talk business with Lynn Hall.
