"Hey, what are you doing? It's daytime. Are you kidnapping someone?"
Just as Lynn Hall ordered Sean to leave with his men, a young man's voice appeared at the alley's entrance.
Turning around to look at the alley's entrance, he saw a guy in a Spider suit blocking the way.
However, compared to the classic Spider suit, this one was clearly a combination of several clothes, not only ill-fitting but also somewhat bulky.
What was even more outrageous was that this Spider-Man was holding a box of eggs!
The moment he saw this "freak," Sean immediately drew his pistol, ready to tell him to scram.
But Lynn stopped him.
Although he hadn't expected that after biting Gwen, that spider had bitten other people as well.
But clearly, this "newly debuted" Spider-Man was Peter Parker!
Because he hadn't learned to hide his voice yet.
Similarly, Peter Parker, holding a box of eggs, recognized Lynn.
So, realizing that Lynn was leading an FBI team to apprehend a criminal, Peter Parker immediately said, "Uh, sorry, Mr. Lynn, I didn't know you FBI agents were arresting someone. I'm really sorry."
Mid-sentence, Peter Parker immediately covered his mouth.
Damn it, he had called out Lynn's name directly.
Looking at Peter Parker, who was still a Spider rookie with no experience whatsoever.
Lynn Hall walked forward, pretending not to know him: "Who are you? How do you know my identity?"
"Uh..."
Facing Lynn's "interrogation," Peter Parker suddenly panicked.
He stammered for a long time, then suddenly had a flash of inspiration and said, "That's because I've seen you, Mr. Lynn Hall, on TV."
"On TV?"
"Yes, sir, it was the press conference after Tony Stark was rescued from the Middle East."
To avoid revealing too much, Peter Parker took two steps back, then used his web-shooters to stick to the rooftop and leap up: "Sorry for disturbing your investigation. Also, I'm Spider-Man."
As Peter Parker hastily fled the scene, Lynn Hall chuckled.
A Spider-Man, a Spider-Woman, New York is going to be lively from now on!
"Boss, that guy said he was some Spider-Man?"
Coming up to Lynn, Sean chuckled, "I've never heard of a guy like that in New York!"
"Maybe he's a newly debuted young guy. Forget it, Sean, you and Joey take this guy back for interrogation and see what you can pry out of him!"
"Yes!"
Hearing Lynn's order, Sean immediately nodded.
Lynn, on the other hand, opened the Chevrolet and said to Dennis, "Get in my car. We're going to meet those two little girls!"
"Okay, Boss!"
Hearing Lynn say that, Dennis Johnson nodded and got into the passenger seat of Lynn's car.
Ten minutes later, in a community in Queens.
"Boss, I've already told Laura and Polaris about today's meeting. They should be waiting for us at home."
Getting out of the car, Dennis Johnson said, "But Boss, are you sure it's just the two of us? Don't we need to send people..."
"Didn't you say these two little girls wouldn't hurt anyone?"
Looking at Dennis, Lynn smiled and patted his shoulder: "You are my subordinate, so I naturally trust what you say. Besides, we are going as guests, not for an arrest, so there's no need to make such a big fuss!"
Looking at Lynn's trusting gaze, a surge of emotion welled up in Dennis's heart.
He hadn't expected that his Boss would trust him so much.
One must know that although Laura and Polaris were young, one 13 and the other 14.
But they were Mutants after all, and high-threat level Mutants at that!
Yet, despite this, his Boss had come here with no preparations, just because of his words.
Thinking of this, Dennis took a deep breath, then went to press the doorbell.
He finally understood now why Sean and Alice were willing to take bullets for their Boss!
Lynn naturally didn't know what Dennis was thinking.
But even if he did, Lynn would only say, young people are so easy to fool!
In fact, over the past week, Lynn had already thoroughly investigated the past of Laura and Polaris.
Including what happened to them in the orphanage, and what they did after leaving the orphanage.
Otherwise, even if Lynn coveted the abilities of these two little girls, he would never have so easily brought Dennis to their doorstep.
Inside the room.
"Dennis has brought his superior!"
With two pigtails, Laura turned to Polaris, who had dark green hair and a melancholic expression, and said.
Hearing Laura's words, Polaris closed her eyes, felt for a moment, then shook her head: "There's no ambush. There are only the two of them around!"
"Then that means Dennis's statement is credible, right!"
Walking forward and linking arms with Polaris, Laura said with a giggle, "Lorna, this is the first time I've known that someone from an official organization is kind to us!"
"Don't be careless."
Looking at Laura's giggling appearance, Polaris Lorna Dane looked outside: "I don't trust them. Even if they show kindness to us, who knows what they're planning in secret?"
"Don't forget the disaster two years ago, if it wasn't for..."
"Oh, I know!"
Hearing Polaris about to bring up the incident from two years ago again, Laura chuckled, "Don't worry, I'll make him tell his true purpose!"
"Besides, Dennis brought them, and we don't have anywhere else to go, so we might as well see what this FBI guy really wants to do!"
No sooner had she finished speaking than the doorbell rang outside.
"I'll get it."
After saying that, Laura pattered to the door and opened it.
The moment she opened the door, Laura looked at Dennis and Lynn, and a hint of light that could cause hallucinations flashed in her eyes, then she pretended to be nonchalant and smiled: "Dennis, long time no see, welcome to our home!"
"Long time no see, Laura, Polaris!"
Greeting the two, Dennis then introduced Lynn Hall to them.
After entering the room, Lynn Hall subtly sized up the two little girls.
Clearly, just as Dennis had said.
Laura was outgoing, and Polaris was somewhat melancholic.
And although the two looked harmless, Polaris was actually ready to attack at any moment.
If any "accident" were to happen, Polaris would launch an attack and then escape with Laura.
