Chapter 10: Wolverine vs. Hulk

Dr. Banner transformed into the Hulk after the Gamma experiment failed.

General Ross, as the initiator of the experiment, always regarded the Hulk as his private property, and he had been constantly searching for the missing Hulk's whereabouts.

This day, General Ross finally pinpointed the Hulk's location and led Bronski to capture him.

But human strength was no match for the Hulk; Bronski's team was beaten without any power to fight back.

In desperation, General Ross contacted the X-Men, seeking their help.

...

Above a desolate forest, an airplane was circling.

This was the last known location of the Hulk before he disappeared.

As the airplane's hatch opened, an X-Men member leaped out.

He was Wolverine, Logan Howlett.

He possessed powerful self-healing abilities and enhanced senses, with Adamantium claws that could extend from his hands.

Wolverine's claws, like all the bones in his body, were infused with Adamantium. This was a metal even harder than Black Panther's Vibranium.

Therefore, Wolverine's defense was incredibly high, and being a Mutant, he also possessed superhuman agility and strength.

His healing factor prolonged his lifespan by slowing the effects of aging.

Having participated in many wars, he had learned and mastered various martial arts and killing techniques from around the World.

Upon landing, Wolverine keenly noticed a series of enormous and conspicuous footprints on the ground.

These footprints acted like a mysterious clue, guiding him forward in his exploration. Without hesitation, Wolverine followed these footprints.

Before long, he arrived at the edge of a steep and perilous cliff.

Standing on this side of the cliff, Wolverine gazed across at the equally towering peak opposite, mentally assessing the distance between them and the likelihood of successfully leaping across.

After a brief moment of thought, he decided to step back a few paces, giving himself enough room for a running start.

Wolverine took a deep breath, then charged forward like an untamed Beast.

When he reached the edge of the cliff, he leaped with immense force, soaring towards the opposite side like an arrow shot from a bow.

In the air, his figure traced a graceful arc, as if he were about to pierce the clouds.

However, just as everyone thought he would successfully reach the other side, an accident occurred.

Perhaps the cliff was too wide, or perhaps he misjudged the power of his jump, but Wolverine slowly began to fall in mid-air!

Wolverine reacted quickly, extending his hands without hesitation, his sharp steel claws instantly popping out, stabbing directly into the side of the mountain.

"Chhh—"

Accompanied by a harsh scraping sound, the steel claws embedded deeply into the hard rock, halting Wolverine's descent.

Following this, he used his astonishing arm strength to climb upward, successfully scaling the cliff.

As soon as he climbed onto the cliff, Wolverine saw an enormous crater not far ahead, looking as if it had been caused by a meteor violently crashing into the Earth.

The soil around this crater was blasted everywhere, a scene of utter devastation.

And right in the center of the crater, a series of deep and shallow footprints appeared, extending into the dense forest in the distance, disappearing from sight...

Wolverine followed the footprints and saw Dr. Banner, who had already transformed back into a human.

Wolverine inherently disliked scientists because the Adamantium in his body was a product of an experiment.

He grabbed Banner by the neck, threw him, and Banner let out a painful whimper as he crashed into a tree.

"I advise you not to do that, buddy, it's very dangerous!" Banner said to Wolverine, who was slowly walking towards him, leaning against the tree.

Wolverine ignored him, raised his foot, and pressed it onto Banner's body, pinning him against the tree.

Then Wolverine placed his hand on Banner's chin, extending two claws that rested beside Banner's ears. The middle claw was ready to extend and pierce his head at any moment.

"If you don't behave, I'll show you what I can do."

Logan spoke harshly, scaring Banner into tightly closing his eyes.

When Banner opened his eyes again, they had turned green.

Ah—

Thump!

Wolverine cried out, having been punched dozens of meters away by the Hulk.

Logan lay on the ground, and before he could get up, the Hulk leaped over and stepped on him.

"Hulk smash little man!"

The enraged Hulk swung his fist, hitting Wolverine's head heavily, punch after punch, embedding Wolverine into the ground.

Anyone else would have had their head blown off by the Hulk's first punch.

Although Wolverine had extremely high defense, he was still beaten by the Hulk until he vomited blood, lying there with his eyes closed.

Ah ah ah ah!

The Hulk roared to the sky, looked at the motionless Wolverine, and turned to leave.

The Hulk walked a few steps, heard a sound behind him, and turned to look.

Wolverine had already stood up, wiping blood from the corner of his mouth.

...

At this moment, a yellow portal appeared in front of Wolverine, and a masked man in a red bodysuit emerged from it.

"Oh, yes, yes, John Byrne's classic red and black skin. Is this the suit for fighting the Hulk?"

The Hulk's roar came from behind the masked man, who turned to look at the Hulk:

"I am the Marvel Savior, you fool..."

Before he could finish speaking, the Hulk instantly punched him, sending him flying and pinning him to a tree root.

Afterward, the masked man opened a portal and disappeared again.

At this time, a deity sitting on a throne, dressed in green clothes, breathed a sigh of relief,

"Thankfully, that idiot didn't provoke that person."

...

"Alright, big guy! Let's get to it!"

Wolverine's Beast-like eyes gleamed with excitement and greed, as if the opponent before him was not an enemy but prey awaiting his capture.

He smirked slightly, revealing a satisfied yet ferocious smile, clenching his fists tightly as his incredibly sharp metal claws instantly popped out, shimmering with a chilling glow.

Following this, Wolverine charged towards the Hulk with powerful strides, like an arrow shot from a bow.

Seeing this, the Hulk roared and swung his fist directly at Wolverine.

However, Wolverine, with his extraordinary agility, easily dodged to the side, skillfully avoiding the Hulk's powerful blow.

Wolverine quickly counterattacked, his sharp wolf claws slashing across the Hulk's massive body like lightning, immediately leaving several deep bloodstains on him.

The Hulk cried out in pain, letting out a deafening roar.

Although Wolverine possessed exquisite combat skills and lightning-fast speed, making it difficult for the Hulk to land a successful hit on him.

But due to the Hulk's indestructible skin and unparalleled strength, the wounds caused by the wolf claws were merely superficial scratches for the Hulk and could not deliver a fatal blow.

The Hulk was thoroughly enraged by Wolverine's continuous attacks. This fury not only doubled his strength but also increased his speed.

Suddenly, the Hulk exerted immense force, and a heavy punch landed squarely on Wolverine's chest.

With a loud bang, Wolverine was sent flying dozens of meters away like a cannonball, crashing heavily to the ground and raising a cloud of dust.

The Hulk pressed his advantage, pushing off with his legs, leaping high into the air, and then landing with a thud, directly jumping to Wolverine's location.

But when he looked closely, he found that Wolverine had vanished without a trace, and the Hulk turned his massive head, looking around.

Just then, a furious roar came from behind the Hulk. Wolverine leaped down from a tree, like a falcon descending from the sky, pouncing directly onto the Hulk's broad and thick back.

At the same time, Wolverine's claws mercilessly plunged into the Hulk's back, causing blood to splatter...

The Hulk was enraged by this sudden, intense pain. He let out a deafening roar, like a maddened Beast.

Following this, his massive body began to rush backward recklessly, with a shocking impact force.

Sounds of "crunch" and "rumble" were incessant as over a dozen trees as thick as water barrels snapped under the Hulk's impact, sending wood chips flying everywhere.

The breathtaking destruction only ceased when the Hulk violently flung off Wolverine, who had been clinging tightly to his back.

The shattered fragments of trees, like sharp projectiles, mercilessly cut and pierced Wolverine's body, leaving wounds on him.

But surprisingly, Wolverine's powerful self-healing ability quickly took effect.

In the blink of an eye, the gruesome wounds visibly shrank at an astonishing speed, and the embedded wood fragments were forcibly pushed out of his body. Ultimately, all the injuries vanished without a trace, as if they had never appeared.

Wolverine and the Hulk stood facing each other, the tension between them reaching its peak.

One possessed unbreakable claws and superhuman self-healing, while the other had unparalleled strength and resilient skin.

The two were like a clash of spear and shield, an inseparable struggle, neither able to easily defeat the other.

This made General Ross, who was watching all this from above, anxious, and he quickly contacted Professor X again:

"Can't you send more people?!"
