Chapter 6: Spider swallowed by the abyss

Adie looked at the middle-aged man in front of him and had some ideas.

Originally, his plan was to become Spider-Silk, wait for Norman to become Green Goblin, successfully develop a Green Goblin Serum without side effects, and then steal the Green Goblin Serum.

But now the situation has changed. He will prevent Norman from becoming Green Goblin and directly infiltrate the Osborn Group to steal or destroy the Green Goblin Serum.

Now he has Symbiote, and he can travel to other Worlds to gain power. The Green Goblin Serum has too many side effects, and it's completely unnecessary.

It would also turn Uncle Norman, who was good to him and almost treated him like a son, into a super villain. Such a harmful thing should naturally be destroyed.

As for the Osborn family's genetic disease, in the magical Marvel World, it's not that difficult to solve. After stealing the serum, he could always improve it.

After some conversation, Norman Osborn left. Harry watched Norman leave, then turned to Adie and Peter and complained:

"Hey, I feel like you two are more like his biological sons than I am."

Adie and Peter exchanged smiles. When the three walked into the science exhibition, the staff were already explaining spiders to the students.

Adie followed Peter, his eyes fixed on the spiders inside the glass cover, asking Symbiote in his mind.

"If I get bitten by these guys, do you think I can get Spider-Man's power?"

As soon as Adie finished speaking, Symbiote's answer came from his mind.

"Perhaps, but these spiders are just ordinary genetic products, so the possibility is small. To be safe, we should still choose Peter's spider as planned.

Only that super spider will have 100% of the Spider Totem's power. What we need is for the spider to bite you after it bites Peter.

While the spider is still alive, let it bite you to obtain the remaining Spider Totem that has not yet been injected into Spider-Man's body."

Adie nodded upon hearing this. Symbiote was right. Spider-Man became Spider-Man mainly because of the Spider Totem. Mutation would only turn him into a spider monster.

Knowing it was useless, Adie lost interest in looking at these spiders and instead focused his attention on Peter.

Fate did not disappoint Adie. After Peter finished taking pictures for Mary, Adie watched a spider land on Peter's hand.

Before Peter could exclaim, Adie quickly stepped forward, grabbed the spider, and then secretly used force to make the spider react and bite him.

"Oh!"

Hearing Adie's cry, Peter didn't bother to look at his own bite wound and quickly went forward to check on Adie.

"Adie! Are you okay?"

Adie endured the pain, and only after the spider in his hand stopped struggling did he let go and flick the dead spider away.

"It's nothing, just a spider bite."

He spread his hand, revealing the wound inside, and heard Symbiote's excited cry of success in his mind.

Adie suppressed his smile, feigned discomfort, had Peter ask for leave for him, and then hurried away from the science exhibition.

On the way back, Adie and Symbiote were originally going to celebrate the success of their plan.

Unexpectedly, Adie's heart suddenly clenched on the way, his hands let go of the steering wheel, and he leaned back uncomfortably.

Seeing this, Symbiote directly took over, extending a tentacle to drive for Adie.

"Adie, what's wrong?"

Looking at Adie's uncomfortable appearance, Symbiote was bewildered. He could feel Adie's physical strength rising sharply, but why did he look so uncomfortable?

After thinking about it, Symbiote could only attribute it to the side effects of the transformation. Although he knew this was a normal phenomenon, Symbiote still silently activated his self-healing ability, hoping to alleviate Adie's pain.

However, what Symbiote didn't expect was that Adie's consciousness appeared in a dreamlike and vast space at this moment.

Adie was initially curious about this place, but in an instant, a tiny Spider Totem appeared before him.

Adie observed for a moment and found that the Spider Totem was only the size of his head, which made Adie realize that this was his Spider Totem.

Just as Adie was about to examine his Spider Totem carefully, in the dreamlike unknown space, black-purple energy tentacles suddenly flew from all directions and plunged into the Spider Totem.

They dyed the Spider Totem an incredibly dark color.

This was not all. Just as Adie was astonished, a black hole suddenly opened directly above the darkened Spider Totem.

A tentacle emerged from the Spider Totem and flew into the black hole. Accompanied by a suction, round masses were injected into the Spider Totem through the tentacle.

The Spider Totem rapidly grew, and in a short while, it was already six times the size of Adie himself.

Curious, Adie looked up at the black hole, wanting to know what it was that made the Spider Totem so robust in such a short time.

As the saying goes, you don't know until you look, and when you look, you're startled. On the other side of the black hole, there was a dense web.

A name instantly appeared in Adie's mind: "The Web of Life and Destiny."

Before Adie could even think, a sharp female voice suddenly sounded in Adie's ear.

"Who is it?"

As the female voice sounded, before Adie could react, the dark Spider Totem had already retracted the tentacles connecting to the Web of Life and Destiny, and the black hole rapidly closed.

At this time, the Spider Totem was already more than ten times Adie's size.

Looking at the huge, dark Spider Totem in front of him, Adie already had some guesses. It was the Abyss Power within his body that caused the change in the Spider Totem.

Adie originally wanted to reach out and touch the Spider Totem, but at this moment, the Spider Totem exploded directly, turning into specks of starlight that adorned this dreamlike space.

"Is this the Abyss Multiverse that Loki and Symbiote talked about, hidden within me as a seed? But how do I get out?"

Adie was originally thinking about how to return to the real World.

But as soon as this thought arose, Adie immediately felt a strong suction.

When he opened his eyes again, the surrounding environment had already changed to the appearance of his home.

"Symbiote?"

Symbiote, who was watching TV, heard Adie's call and immediately shrank back to Adie's side, saying excitedly:

"How do you feel now? I'm telling you, we've gained several abilities this time."

"You know all of them?"

"Of course, I'm a Symbiote. Of course, I know when you gain new abilities."

Seeing Symbiote's matter-of-fact look, Adie remained puzzled. What he felt most directly was that his hearing, vision, and dynamic vision had all increased exponentially.

As for the others, they still needed to be observed. After all, his Spider Totem had exploded, and he wasn't sure if he had gained Spider-Man's abilities.

Adie stood up, walked to the wall, and lifted his foot. After confirming that he could adhere to the wall, he then raised his hands and walked two steps, finding that he could indeed walk on the wall.

He raised his hands and observed them. There were no barbs, which meant he had acquired biological electricity adhesion, like most Spider-Men.

Just as Adie was lost in thought, the hairs on his body instantly stood up, and a strange sensation arose.

With a 'whoosh,' Adie tilted his head to dodge and reached out to catch the kitchen knife flying from behind him.

Adie turned to look behind him, only to see Symbiote waving his tentacles, looking playful.

"Weren't you going to test your abilities? I'm just helping you test your Spider-Sense. Don't look at me like that. Besides, even if you didn't dodge, nothing would happen to you with me here, okay?"

Adie shook his head helplessly: "I'll forgive you this time. If there's a next time, I'll cut off your snacks, understand?"

"Okay, okay, I get it. Don't cut off my snacks. I was wrong."

Hearing Adie threaten to cut off his snacks, Symbiote quickly conceded.

Shaking his head, he placed the kitchen knife on the coffee table, had Symbiote press the mechanism to open the secret door in the bookshelf, and led Symbiote into the music room.

Seeing Adie bring him to the music room, Symbiote asked in confusion: "What? Aren't we supposed to be testing your abilities? Why are we in the music room?"

Adie heard Symbiote say this and looked at Symbiote in surprise:

"Haven't you seen my memories? Don't you know I built a Base underground, similar to Batman's Batcave?"

"Oh my God, you only let me see your plans, not anything else. How could I possibly know? And you actually built a Batcave.

Motherf*cker, that's so cool, Adie. You actually have a Batcave. It's awesome."

Listening to Symbiote's praise, Adie shook his head and smiled, instructing Symbiote to open the secret mechanism door and descend the elevator shaft.

"Actually, it's not that amazing. After all, I'm only fifteen. Inside are just some high-priced custom-made devices for testing strength and some high-tech stuff.

It's just that I intend to gradually build it into a Batcave."

"Oh~ It seems if I hadn't come to find you, you might have become Batman of the Marvel Universe."

Symbiote said, even transforming his head into the shape of a Batcave, which made Adie laugh.

"Who knows?"

Symbiote looked around, observed for a moment, and nodded with satisfaction: "But since I'm here, it naturally can't be called the Batcave anymore. How about we call it the Symbiote Cave?"

Adie thought for a moment and nodded in agreement. He didn't care what it was called; it was just a name.

"Okay."
