Chapter 9: Spider-suit

“Oh, cough cough, my back, my back.”

In the Venom Hole, Adi had long ago built an underground Base for training and logistics, in preparation for forming a team and enhancing its combat capabilities in the future.

At this moment, Adi and Venom were in the training ground, which had been built long ago, conducting intensive special training to improve Peter's combat effectiveness, though it didn't look very pleasant.

Rather than special training, it was more like Adi unilaterally beating Peter.

Four days had passed since the science exhibition.

Because Peter had signed a lifelong contract with Adi, he could get an advance on his salary, so he didn't have to fake fights for money.

Without fake fights, Uncle Ben naturally didn't die.

Adi walked over, extended his hand to Peter, who was lying on the ground, and pulled him up.

“Too weak, Peter. You know, I didn't even use an electric shock.”

Venom also poked his head out and mocked Peter, “Hey, Pipsqueak Parker, you look like an old grandma who's already seventy or eighty and has thrown out her back.”

After four days of Venom's baptism, Peter had developed a strong immunity to Venom's trash talk.

“This is ridiculous, Adi. I don't think we really need to practice combat skills so hard.

I think we can totally rely on brute force. After all, no one's body can withstand more than twenty tons of force, not even Captain America.”

Adi shook his head, thinking Peter was still too young. Not to mention the distant future, just the near future: this year, Green Goblin would be born; next year, 2003, Bruce Banner would be irradiated by gamma rays in an experiment, becoming Hulk and beginning his escape.

In 2004, Dr. Octopus; in 2007, Venom would arrive. This was only what was currently known on the surface. After all, this was a real World, and HYDRA and S.H.I.E.L.D. couldn't possibly wait until 2008 to emerge.

It was better to make more preparations.

However, Venom once said that after they became Abyssal Lords, they became the only ones in the Multiverse, with no parallel counterparts, no past or future. I wonder which Symbiote would replace Venom?

Adi thought as he walked off the training ground: “I have some other things to do. Today's training ends here.

Oh, by the way, come with me first. Your battle suit is ready.”

“Really? That's great.”

The two pieces of good news—training stopped and the battle suit was ready—made Peter instantly feel no back pain or leg pain. He immediately jumped up and followed Adi with an excited look on his face.

The three of them came to a capsule-shaped iron container. Adi snapped his fingers, and the iron container slowly opened, revealing the classic red and blue Spider-Man battle suit inside.

Looking at Peter's excited expression, Adi smiled and introduced it to him:

“This battle suit was made according to Venom's design, using special materials. It's waterproof, fireproof, and insulated, while also having extreme stretch and toughness, making it more comfortable to wear and difficult to damage.

The mask is slightly different. Its fireproof and waterproof effects are not as strong as the overall suit, but new materials have been added, giving it anti-poison and air filtration capabilities, and it also ensures your breathing is smooth.

Retractable gliding membranes have also been added to the ribs of the battle suit to support short-distance aerial gliding.

Oh, a friendly reminder, all special materials were independently researched and provided by Venom.”

“What?”

Peter's eyes lit up as he looked at Venom, and he sincerely thanked Venom:

“Thank you, Venom.”

Venom, receiving the thanks, couldn't suppress the corners of his mouth, but still deliberately put on a look of disdain and said fiercely:

“Tch, I really don't understand your aesthetic. You like being a tight-suit pervert. If I were you, I wouldn't even wear it. Anyway, wearing it or not makes no difference.”

Peter just smiled at Venom's mocking words. Now, Venom's sarcastic remarks felt more like jokes between friends to him.

Peter looked at the Spider-Man battle suit inside with expectant eyes, as if he thought of something, then turned to Adi and asked curiously:

“Can I see your battle suit, Adi?”

Adi nodded: “Of course you can.”

As soon as Adi finished speaking, black, gelatinous goo emerged from all over Adi's body, quickly covering him. In a moment, a Venom Agent, completely pitch black with only a pair of pale White eyes, appeared in his place.

“Oh, shit, this is so cool, Adi.”

Peter's eyes widened and his mouth hung open as he looked at Adi.

“Can I touch it?”

“Of course you can.”

Peter nervously placed his hand on the outer armor formed by Venom, touched it, and quickly withdrew his hand.

“My God, this is no different from armor made of alloy.”

Just as Peter was shocked, Adi's body suddenly grew taller, the outer armor on his body disappeared, and a large mouth full of fangs grew on his original mask. In an instant, a muscular monster appeared in Adi's place.

“How's that? Now that's what I call aesthetic.”

Hearing Venom's voice, Peter was puzzled for a moment, then instantly realized that this was Venom controlling the body. He immediately became even more excited.

“Hey! You guys can even transform! My God, that's so cool, Venom. Do you have any other kin? I also want a Symbiote partner.”

Venom laughed when he heard this. He loved hearing such praises. This kid, Peter, was good, very smart.

“Grandpa Venom is unique. Other Symbiotes aren't as righteous and kind as I am. Usually, being parasitic by a Symbiote only turns people into super villains.”

“Is that so? Then I'll pass.”

When Peter heard Venom say that, his desire to have a Symbiote partner instantly diminished a lot.

Seeing Peter a little disappointed, Venom's smile faltered, and his heart softened. He pretended to be indifferent and said:

“Actually, it's not absolute. The good or evil of a Symbiote's actions still depends on the host's inner self, just like me and Adi. If it were you, kid.

I think it's still very possible for you to have a Symbiote partner.”

Peter understood Venom's meaning and laughed heartily.

“Is that so? I'll take your good wishes, thank you, Venom.”

“No thanks needed, tight-suited Spider-Boy.”

After Venom finished speaking, his body quickly shrank, returning to Adi's appearance.

Adi went straight ahead, took the Spider-Man battle suit out of the machine, and handed it to Peter.

“Alright, time's almost up. I should go too. Bye, Peter, see you tomorrow.”

“See you tomorrow, Adi.”

The two bid farewell, and Adi turned to leave. After returning to the house, he went to the garage, got in his car, and drove towards Osborn Group.

Over the past few days, he had reviewed the plot again and found that the Green Goblin Serum was simply rubbish. Not only did its enhancement have a time limit, but it also had side effects.

The only thing Adi found impressive was the OZ factor contained within the Green Goblin Serum. This stuff was invincible; it could bring people back from the dead.

In the comics, Green Goblin relied on this factor to resurrect after being killed by Spider-Man.

In one version, Norman even enhanced the Green Goblin Serum, making the OZ factor it contained even more powerful, allowing him to constantly resurrect.

Furthermore, in the Red Goblin comic, the Green Goblin Serum could even eliminate the Symbiote's weaknesses to high temperatures and sound waves.

Of course, in terms of film depiction, whether it can remove the Symbiote's weaknesses is still unknown, but the OZ factor should not exist, because in the movie, Green Goblin truly died directly.

However, this did not affect the Green Goblin Serum's research value.

Parking the car in an alley with no surveillance and sparse population, Adi got out and looked at Osborn Tower not far away. Black liquid slowly emerged from his body, and in a blink of an eye, Venom Agent appeared in his place.

This was not all. Adi activated the Symbiote's shapeshifting ability. After a ripple on his body, he transformed into a White man of similar build.

“Let's go, Venom.”

“Let's go.”
