Chapter 10: Medical Ninjutsu Get

Inside Konoha Hospital, within the research lab, Orochimaru was intently bent over a table where a wounded carp lay.

His hands were enveloped in a gentle, emerald green glow, carefully covering the fish's wound—the light of Yang Chakra.

Affected by this power, the edges of the wound, which had been somewhat curled, slowly wriggled and healed at an unnatural speed.

It had been fifteen days since the C-rank mission to clear out the bandits ended.

Leveraging his adaptability and curiosity about the unknown demonstrated during that mission, Orochimaru seized the opportunity to request Hiruzen Sarutobi to teach him Medical Ninjutsu.

Medical Ninjutsu is vastly different from combat Ninjutsu; even the Third Hokage, known as the “Dr. of Ninjutsu,” only had a rudimentary understanding of its principles.

Therefore, Hiruzen Sarutobi introduced him to the Dean of Konoha Hospital…

…who was standing nearby, a kind-faced middle-aged man in a white coat, said to be from the Senju Clan.

He gazed at Orochimaru’s operation, his eyes gleaming with barely concealed astonishment.

He had never seen such a prodigious talent learn Medical Ninjutsu so quickly.

One must know that, unlike ordinary Ninjutsu, the threshold for Medical Ninjutsu is much higher.

It not only requires a deep understanding of biological knowledge like human anatomy and cell activity but also demands Chakra control as precise as a sewing needle.

Just the theory alone requires a lot of time to study, and Chakra control requires both talent and extensive practice; most Ninja simply wouldn't spend their time on such things.

Yet, this young man, personally recommended by the Third Hokage, passed all theoretical exams with astonishing results in just one week.

Following that, he mastered the basic healing technique of stimulating cell regeneration with Yang Chakra in just another week, and could even skillfully apply it to living organisms.

As the last wisp of green light merged into the fish, the wound completely vanished, leaving only a slight, pinkish hue of new growth in its place.

“Dean, how is it?”

Orochimaru straightened up, gently shook his hands, and turned to the Dean, asking.

“Perfect, it’s simply perfect!”

“Orochimaru-kun, you are the most exceptionally talented student I have ever seen in the field of Medical Ninjutsu!

Such precise Chakra control, such rapid mastery… it’s truly incredible!”

The Dean spared no praise; there were already few Ninja interested in Medical Ninjutsu, let alone a genius like Orochimaru.

On the other side, Tsunade stood with her arms crossed, her small face filled with an ineffable complexity.

She bit her lower lip, looking at the restored fish, then at the calm-faced Orochimaru, feeling a mix of emotions.

She recalled that when she learned Medical Ninjutsu, it took her several months just to reach the point Orochimaru had just achieved, and during that time, she didn't know how many times she failed or how many experimental materials she wasted.

But this guy… he only took a mere two weeks!

Are there truly such geniuses in this World?

“Heh~”

Orochimaru caught Tsunade’s expression, a mix of unwillingness and frustration, and couldn't help but chuckle.

He was able to do this thanks to the vast amount of biological knowledge provided by Harry Osborn from the Marvel Universe.

And the improvement in Chakra control came from the quiet cultivation and training methods of the One Person Below World.

This was the difference between the two Worlds he spoke of earlier; the cultivation methods in the One Person Below World were far superior in terms of physical and spiritual training.

“What’s wrong, Tsunade? You look troubled.”

Orochimaru walked over to Tsunade, lowering his voice, and asked softly.

Tsunade was startled by his sudden proximity, then snorted and turned her head away.

“Actually, I have a special learning method.

If you want to learn, I can teach you~”

Orochimaru’s voice became even softer, like a whisper.

“Special… method?”

Tsunade’s heart suddenly skipped a beat at his words.

Countless strange, far-fetched thoughts flashed through her mind; this guy was always so mysterious, what could his “special method” be? Could it be…

She secretly glanced at Orochimaru’s calm, golden vertical pupils, and her heart inexplicably sped up.

Ultimately, she couldn't resist the intense curiosity and competitive spirit, and nodded.

“Dean, earlier I consulted you about the experimental equipment suppliers…”

Seeing Tsunade agree, the smile in Orochimaru’s eyes deepened, but he said no more, turning instead to the Dean.

“Oh, that.

I’ve already contacted a few reputable suppliers for you; I can give you the catalog later.

Orochimaru-kun, your willingness to delve into Medical Ninjutsu research is a great boon for Konoha, and our Hospital will fully support you.

If you need to establish your own independent laboratory, I can also help you contact the best construction team in the Village and offer suggestions for site selection.”

The Dean’s smile grew even warmer; for a genius like Orochimaru who was willing to devote himself to Medical Ninjutsu research, he was naturally happy to provide some conveniences. He paused, then added.

“However, as you know, the Hospital’s funds have strict usage regulations, so the funds for laboratory construction and equipment procurement will likely need to be handled by yourself…”

The Dean’s tone shifted, carrying a hint of apology.

“That’s enough, Dean!

You don’t need to worry about the funds; I’ll figure it out myself.”

A glint of excitement flashed in Orochimaru’s eyes as he quickly expressed his thanks.

Providing him with purchase channels was enough; as for the money, he could always let “Akagi Shigeru” re-emerge.

He now had enough capital to make a big move…

“That’s good. Once you’ve chosen the laboratory location, you can come find me anytime.”

The Dean nodded with satisfaction.

Having settled the laboratory matters, Orochimaru bid farewell to the Dean.

Tsunade followed behind Orochimaru, still pondering the so-called “special learning method.”

Soon, the two returned to Orochimaru’s temporary residence.

Tsunade curiously surveyed her surroundings, expecting Orochimaru to produce some magical scroll or secret training tool.

However, Orochimaru simply walked calmly into the room, and a moment later, came out carrying a thick stack of papers.

Under Tsunade’s bewildered and astonished gaze, Orochimaru placed them in front of her.

Tsunade leaned closer and saw that the top sheet’s header read— “High School (crossed out) Biology (Required 1): Molecules and Cells.” Flipping through, she also found “Basic Immunology,” “Human Anatomy and Physiology,” “Biochemistry,” “Principles of Genetics,” and more…

“This… this is…?”

Tsunade was utterly stunned, pointing at the mountain of papers and materials, momentarily speechless.

“This is the special learning method I mentioned…”

Orochimaru looked at her dumbfounded expression and finally couldn't help but chuckle.

The so-called special learning method was the “sea of questions” tactic that every child in another World experienced, along with that World’s systematic knowledge framework.

He had been confirming one thing at Konoha Hospital these past few days: which knowledge could be put to use.

And this was the result of his organization these past few days…

Scientific research is never a matter of working in isolation; it requires the collision of countless intelligences, the clash of innumerable ideas, and only through continuous trial and error and verification can the path to truth be found.

So he didn’t mind spreading the knowledge…
