Chapter 52: After the live broadcast

Helan had a very strange feeling, as if his back garden had been invaded by a group of uninvited guests.

In fact, she also knows that the more people there are in the live broadcast room, the better.

Lu Yanhe wants to start a live broadcast, it’s not because he has nothing to do. He is an artist and he definitely wants more attention.

It was just the comments sent by those people that made Helan feel inexplicably depressed. He felt that those people were speaking too recklessly and did not really want to have a chat.

"Lanlan, what are you daydreaming about?" Xu Mingyue had just finished a group report and was saving the file. Because she had been sitting for too long, she stood up to move around and stretch her arms, only to see Helan staring blankly.

Helan came back to his senses, shook his head and said, "It's okay, I'm just thinking about something."

She rolled her eyes and asked, "Mingyue, are you a fan?"

"Chasing stars? What do you mean by chasing stars?" Xu Mingyue did not answer, but asked instead.

Helan: "Chasing stars is just chasing stars, what else can it mean?"

"If you're talking about the kind of fan who follows him every day and gives him crazy support, I'm not a fan. But I have my favorite stars, and I'll watch their dramas and learn about any news related to them."

"Then if someone said something bad about him, would you be angry?" Helan asked again.

"Not good? To discredit him? Yeah, that would be a bit unpleasant."

"Will you refute them?"

Xu Mingyue shook her head and said, "I never try to reason with people online, let alone refute them. It's meaningless. You don't even know who those people are. A summer insect can't talk about ice."

Helan nodded thoughtfully.

"Which celebrity do you like? Are you a fan?" Xu Mingyue asked curiously.

Helan shook his head: "No."

-

Lu Yanhe's live broadcast tonight lasted until half past eleven. When he heard the sound of the door opening, he knew that someone had returned, so he simply turned off the live broadcast.

The live broadcast room is a little more lively than usual today. I don’t know why, but the number of viewers has remained stable at over a hundred, with people constantly coming in and out.

In the barrage room, people often post comments like "This anchor is so handsome" or "What is being broadcast?", and occasionally someone will help to answer them.

Someone else commented in the comments, "This host is amazing! I was watching him organize his notes in this livestream just an hour ago. Now I come over and he's still organizing his notes. Is he really doing homework livestream? Why would he do something like this? He's so handsome, he could get more followers doing anything else than livestreaming studying, right?"

Lu Yanhe did not give any explanation.

Those familiar ID names did not appear again, so Lu Yanhe said, "I'm going offline first, see you tomorrow," and turned off the live broadcast.

Yan Liang and Li Zhi came back together.

"Why did you two come back so late?" Lu Yanhe walked out of the room and asked.

Looking more closely, Li Zhibai had no idea what was going on. His face had turned red from drinking and he was completely unconscious. Yan Liang was holding him on his shoulders.

Yan Liang: "Help me quickly."

Lu Yanhe and Yan Liang threw Li Zhibai onto his bed.

Yan Liang broke out in a sweat.

"I'm so tired."

Lu Yanhe asked, "Why did he drink so much?"

Yan Liang: "Tonight, Zhou Ping'an took us to dinner with a TV producer. He told us to please the producer so we can appear on his show. Li Zhibai usually doesn't care about this. He's very popular and always has programs looking for him. But today, I don't know what got him wrong. He insisted on drinking someone down, and ended up hurting himself more than he hurt the enemy."

Upon hearing this, Lu Yanhe couldn't help but look at Li Zhibai who was sleeping soundly on the bed with confusion.

"Turn him over. I've seen it before. It's better for drunk people to sleep on their stomachs. If they vomit, it won't get stuck in their throats."

The two men turned Li Zhibai over again.

Li Zhibai suddenly shouted, "If I don't get you drunk today, I'm not Li!"

Lu Yanhe and Yan Liang were bewildered.

"Does he have a grudge against this producer? Who did you drink with today?" Lu Yanhe asked.

Yan Liang said, "Chen Biqiu."

"Ah, him?" Lu Yanhe said, "Then I know why."

"Why?" Yan Liang asked puzzledly.

"Do you remember that Li Zhibai was chased and scolded by Luna's fans for a long time, saying that Li Zhibai was trying to ride on Luna's popularity and that he was a gangster?" Lu Yanhe said.

"Remember, what does this have to do with Chen Biqiu?" Yan Liang asked.

"Have you forgotten that Li Zhibai was scolded by Luna's fans because of his performance on the show 'Let's Camp'? Chen Biqiu was the producer of that show. The actions and expressions that Li Zhibai was scolded for were all editing errors. Didn't he say that those actions and expressions were not directed at Luna at all? But the editing made it seem like he had feelings for Luna and even called to scold her. Don't you remember?"

Yan Liang reacted instantly, "Ah, the producer of that program is Chen Biqiu, no wonder."

He suddenly understood why Li Zhibai toasted so abnormally tonight.

Li Zhibai really wanted to use the toast to get Chen Bijiu drunk to death.

A complete desire for revenge.

"Never mind him. I drank a little too and felt dizzy. I'll just take a shower and go to sleep."

"Um."

Lu Yanhe returned to his room and continued reading.

There is not enough time and he has not completed his study plan for today.

He stayed up until almost a little before washing his face and going to sleep.

-

It started to rain again.

Lu Yanhe woke to the sound of rain and opened an app called "Wen Gu" to listen to the history audio lessons. While listening, he dressed and packed his things.

A class lasts fifteen minutes, just enough time for him to get dressed, pack his schoolbag, wash his face and brush his teeth.

In the subject of history, there are always a large number of questions beyond the syllabus in the college entrance examination every year, so Lu Yanhe searched online and downloaded this APP.

The audio lessons on history covered major events in Chinese and foreign history. Lu Yanhe listened to them to refine the historical context he had built up in his mind.

There is a sentence that history teachers often say: every period of history is closely related and has its own logic.

Lu Yanhe didn't know whether this sentence was right or not, but according to this point of view, connecting each piece of history together and turning it into a whole did help him remember the big and small events in history.

When I went out, Yan Liang had just come out of the room.

"Why did you go out so early today?"

"It's raining. If we don't leave early, there will be a lot of people on the bus," said Lu Yanhe.

Yan Liang yawned and nodded, "Then be careful on the road."

Lu Yanhe said, "Aren't you going back to school? Even though you're taking the art exam, the college entrance exam doesn't require a high score, so you still have to take it."

Yan Liang said, "I will go back to prepare for the exam in October."

"Yeah." After hearing Yan Liang's plan, Lu Yanhe nodded and left.
