Chapter 833: New boundary

Li Mu’s gaze swept across the faces of the nine Great Saints, taking in their apprehension, their aloofness, and even a hint of fear that was hard to detect. The corner of his mouth seemed to twitch, or perhaps it didn’t.

“Good.” One word, crisp and decisive.

The nine Yao Race Great Saints’ taut Yao power paused slightly, not expecting him to agree so readily.

Li Mu no longer looked at them. He raised his right hand, and the ancient Hun Dun Treasure Mansion appeared in his palm, its faint light flowing.

“Open.”

The mansion gates opened silently, and three figures shot out from within, landing beside Li Mu.

Lin Xiaolun’s eyes were bright and lively, and she curiously surveyed the shattered Starry Sky around them. Tie Tou and Da Niu were burly, their Qi stable and restrained, carrying the heavy feeling of Chaos baptism. When they saw Li Mu, their eyes showed joy.

“Teacher!” The three of them said in unison.

Li Mu looked at them, his voice flat: “The Deva Race has appeared, and this Realm will fall into Chaos. I must leave to find a way to break the situation.” He paused, “Are you willing to leave with me?”

Tie Tou grinned, pounding his fist on his chest: “Wherever Teacher goes, Tie Tou will go!”

Da Niu spoke in a muffled voice, only uttering two words: “Follow.”

Lin Xiaolun’s eyes darted around, glancing at the nine terrifying Great Saints in the distance, then back at Li Mu, and she said crisply: “Of course I’ll follow Teacher!”

“Good, go bid farewell to your parents!” Li Mu nodded, signaling.

Lin Xiaolun and the other two transformed into streaks of light and flew towards Tian Yong City. In the Starry Sky, the nine Great Saints stood silently, their gazes following the three distant points of light until they merged into the vibrant planet in the distance.

Li Mu retracted his gaze, bringing it back to the nine Yao Race Great Saints, and reminded them: “I can leave. But I have one word.”

Golden Peng Great Saint’s golden eyes narrowed slightly, and Nine Heavens Great Saint’s nine tails flickered with faint light. The other Great Saints’ Yao power subtly stirred, focusing their attention.

“Treat the Human Race of this Realm kindly,” Li Mu said, each word like a stone, advising: “Past grudges end here. Do not engage in warfare again.”

Red Hou Great Sage’s body surface lava flow paused, and Black Tortoise Great Sage’s giant shield phantom solidified. The nine Saints remained silent, neither agreeing nor refuting. The power Li Mu displayed and the terror of the Deva Race forced them to re-evaluate many things.

Li Mu didn't care about their response and continued: “Now that the Deva Race has appeared, their target is not just me. This Realm is already caught in their net. Even if I leave, the Deva Race may not spare this Realm.”

A ripple flashed in Golden Peng Great Saint’s sharp eyes.

“If the Strange Tree appears, and the situation becomes irreversible,” Li Mu paused, a faint gray Chaos mark silently emerged from his fingertip, slowly drifting towards Golden Peng Great Saint, signaling: “Activate this mark, and I will return.”

The mark was ancient and unadorned, yet it seemed to contain a Chaos vortex within, emitting a heavy Dao rhythm.

Golden Peng Great Saint’s pupils constricted as he stared at the Chaos mark suspended before him. The golden light at the edges of his feathers silently exploded, and a sharp aura tore through the surrounding space. He did not reach out to take it, nor did he dodge. He simply stared intently at the mark, as if weighing the immense power and Karma it contained.

Li Mu did not linger. His figure moved slightly, and with a single step, he vanished from the eyes of the nine Great Saints.

The next instant, he appeared above Tian Yong City. The vast city spread out below, densely populated, still unaware of the drastic changes occurring in the depths of the Starry Sky.

On the city wall, three figures were bidding farewell to several other figures with profound Qi. Lin Xiaolun’s eyes were slightly red, holding the hand of a woman, while Tie Tou and Da Niu were each whispering to their relatives.

Li Mu’s arrival was silent and unnoticed. He hovered high in the sky, quietly watching the brief farewell below.

Lin Xiaolun seemed to sense something and looked up. Tie Tou and Da Niu also noticed immediately.

“Teacher.” Lin Xiaolun gave her mother one last tight hug, whispered a few words, and then, along with Tie Tou and Da Niu, flew up and landed in front of Li Mu.

“All done?” Li Mu asked.

The three nodded, their faces showing the complexity of parting, yet their gazes at Li Mu were very firm.

Li Mu said no more. He raised his right hand, and the ancient Chaos Treasure Mansion reappeared in his palm, its faint light flowing. “Open.”

The mansion gates opened silently, and a gentle yet powerful suction enveloped the three of them.

Lin Xiaolun and the other two took one last look at their relatives on the city wall below, then relaxed their bodies and transformed into three streaks of light, entering the ancient doorway. The mansion gates closed, and the Treasure Mansion shrunk, disappearing into Li Mu’s palm.

Li Mu took one last look at this majestic Human Race city, his gaze sweeping over the figures looking up from the city wall. He said nothing, his figure suddenly soaring, directly rushing beyond the Nine Heavens!

His speed became faster and faster, and space twisted and blurred behind him. He was like an arrow released from a bowstring, shooting towards the end of this Realm’s Starry Sky.

“Buzz—!”

As he touched the invisible World Barrier, the Chaos Qi around him erupted, impacting the barrier like a tide. The sturdy World Barrier let out a muffled groan, a deep gap being forcefully torn open by the Chaos Power, revealing the dark and boundless Void Realm turbulence outside.

Li Mu stepped into the gap, his figure disappearing into that chaotic darkness.

Behind him, the gap in the World Barrier, after the Chaos Qi dissipated, slowly wriggled and rapidly closed, eventually leaving only a subtle spatial ripple that quickly vanished completely.

It was as if no one had ever forcefully broken through the World Barrier and left this Realm’s Starry Sky before.

— — — —

The mysterious Star God Realm, God King Hall.

“Buzz—!”

The Mu World Tree phantom, the “leaf” corresponding to the devoured Realm, which had long been dim and withered, completely disintegrated without warning!

Before the fragments could fall, they turned into a deathly ash, dissipating into nothingness.

Boom! Boom!

Inside the hall, two light clusters, one silvery-white and one dark-gold, suddenly erupted with light that tore through the Universe! The incredibly sturdy God King Hall barrier let out a piercing groan, and cracks appeared.

“Bastard!”

The silvery-white will vibrated, and for the first time, a clear crack appeared in its Eternal coldness. The Patrol World Envoy’s life imprint, along with the Law Foundation of his existence, had been completely erased from the Mu World Tree’s network. It was not a Seal, nor a severe injury; it was a fundamental annihilation! This result far exceeded His predictions.

“A Lower Realm speck of dust… actually…”

The dark-gold will exploded like billions of bells simultaneously, carrying an unbelievable fury! His gaze pierced through layers of Void Realm, instantly locking onto the last fragments of the scene that remained before the leaf disintegrated—the moment the Chaos Treasure Mansion devoured, the newborn Dao Tree refined, and the Envoy wailed and was annihilated!

In the image, a figure was clearly imprinted. Chaos Qi swirled around him, holding up the Chaos Treasure Mansion, which was carved with mountains, rivers, sun, moon, and stars…

Two wills, transcending eternity, were “nailed” to this residual image.

Inside the God King Hall, time seemed to freeze.

Cold, silvery-white flames silently flickered, each flicker causing the surrounding Laws to freeze and shatter, and space to peel away in pieces.

From the depths of the heavy dark-gold light cluster, a muffled roar like a supernova explosion emanated, and wisps of dark-gold “Divine Blood”-like substantial angry flames even seeped out from the edge of the light cluster, dripping into the Void Realm and burning out Eternal, unextinguishable black holes.

They saw it.

They saw their own Patrol World Envoy, whom they had personally enlightened, being forcefully refined and erased by that Chaotic Great Dao practitioner, who was enveloped in Chaos and controlled the Chaos Treasure Mansion, using his newborn Dao Origin. They saw that nascent Chaos Dao Tree greedily absorbing the Origin of their servant!

Astonishment.

A deathly astonishment, as if Eternal glaciers had frozen time.

Immediately, there was a monstrous rage, enough to incinerate the Three Thousand Main Realms and shake the Foundation of the Mu World Tree!

“Chaotic Great Dao…”

The silvery-white will uttered a cold title, each syllable carrying an absolute killing intent that could freeze galaxies. This figure, enveloped in Chaos and holding the Treasure Mansion, along with the “different Dao” he represented, was completely imprinted in Their Divine Soul.

The dark-gold will remained silent.

The Void Realm where that residual image was located silently collapsed and was annihilated, turning into an abyss of absolute nothingness. In the center of the abyss, only the outline of the figure, wreathed in Chaos Qi and holding the Treasure Mansion, remained, like a heretic nailed to the pillar of fate under the gaze of the two God King wills.

The Envoy’s death was not a battle loss; it was sacrilege! It was a brazen trampling of divine authority by a heretic!

Inside the Star God Great Hall, Divine Might was like a prison, and killing intent filled the sky.

The wrath of the two wills ignited the Starry Sky, which had been silent for eons.

“Execute!”

The silvery-white will burst forth with an edict, cold as billions of years of profound ice chiseling. In the depths of the God King Hall, the silent space suddenly split open with several abyss-like fissures.

“Annihilate!”

The dark-gold will followed closely, its syllables exploding, causing the cracks in the hall to spread wildly. Where His angry flames dripped, the Void Realm melted, forming patches of burning, empty abysses.

Figures emerged from the fissures.

To the left, silvery-white light condensed, forming a divine general covered in ice crystal scales. He held a long halberd, its tip dripping with a cold light that froze time and space. With one step, spiderweb-like frost marks spread across the divine gold ground beneath his feet. Behind him, entire ranks of warriors, clad in frost armor, emerged silently, their Qi connected, bone-chilling and freezing light.

To the right, dark-gold angry flames surged, condensing into a towering figure like a stellar furnace. He was clad in burning lava heavy armor, and his giant axe was wreathed in boiling dark-gold lightning. His mere presence twisted and scorched the surrounding space. Behind him, fissures spewed hot torrents, and teams of warriors, wreathed in dark-gold flames and wielding giant lava blades, arrayed themselves, their Battle Intent transforming into a tangible flame storm that swept through the hall.

Two diametrically opposite yet equally terrifying auras instantly filled every inch of the God King Hall. Frost and lava collided, emitting sizzling sounds of destruction.

There was only one target: that one who controlled the Chaos Dao Tree! That heretical practitioner who dared to slay a god and devour the Patrol World Envoy’s Origin.

The silvery-white divine general pointed his halberd at the residual image, two cold stars beneath his ice-crystal face mask locked onto the Chaos figure: “Target, locked. Erase.”

The dark-gold divine general swung his giant axe, tearing a scorched crack in space, his voice like billions of stars exploding: “Crush! Leave no trace!”

The God King Hall roared, and two divine armies, carrying the supreme will of the Star God Realm’s monstrous killing intent, tore through the Void Realm like two destructive torrents, charging towards the marked coordinates of that Lower Realm, which dared to blaspheme divine authority, within the Mu World Tree’s network!

… …

On the other side, a new World Barrier.

Li Mu’s gaze was calm. The Chaos Qi around him suddenly condensed, forming an extremely refined gray cone, which fiercely pierced into the light membrane!

“Sizzle—!”

Unlike the World Barrier of the previous Realm, this light membrane emitted a strange, piercing sound, as if metal was being forcibly torn, and it trembled violently.

The gray Chaos Power and the World Barrier’s flexible light membrane engaged in a fierce struggle. The light flickered erratically, and muffled cracking sounds emanated as the light membrane was forcefully torn open, creating a gap. Li Mu’s figure flashed, taking the Treasure Mansion with him as he entered.

The gap instantly closed behind him.

Blinding light suddenly replaced the Eternal darkness.

Li Mu’s figure, along with Xue’er, Tie Tou, Da Niu, and Lin Xiaolun, who had quietly appeared behind him, were directly suspended in a deep Void Realm.

There was nothing beneath their feet, only distant green planets like specks of dust, and an endless Star Sea filling their vision. An invisible force supported them, maintaining their stability in the Void Realm.

Above their heads was a deep, pure azure Starry Sky, with several “suns” of varying sizes emitting soft light, scattered across the sky.

The vast Void Realm was dotted with countless planets, all in various shades of vibrant green. Dark green, emerald green, jade green, tender green… The entire Universe seemed to be permeated by the finest jadeite, a breathtaking green.

Against this backdrop of the green Star Sea, other presences dominated the scene.

Warships.

Countless warships.

They varied in form: some resembled giant birds with wings made of flowing flames; others were like ancient pleasure boats, their hulls entwined with gnarled spirit wood vines; some were like enormous jade shuttles, entirely transparent with runes flowing within; and still others were shaped like mountains, their surfaces covered in thick rock armor, with even towering ancient trees and cascading waterfalls visible on their decks.

These massive creations either hung silently in planetary orbit, like loyal guardians; or traversed between planets, trailing long, colorful spiritual energy wakes; or gathered and practiced in the depths of the Void Realm, their massive fleet formations moving silently, creating subtle ripples in space. Metallic luster, wooden textures, jade’s warmth, rock’s heaviness, perfectly fused with flowing runes and surging spiritual energy, constructing a highly developed Human Race immortal cultivation civilization marvel beyond imagination.

The air was permeated with dense Spiritual Qi, mixed with the low, rhythmic hum of the warships’ engines and the fluctuations of some invisible, all-encompassing energy field, forming a unique and powerful sense of order.

Li Mu’s gaze swept across this magnificent and unfamiliar Star Sea, his expression calm. Behind him, Xue’er, Tie Tou, Da Niu, and Lin Xiaolun were so stunned by the sight that they almost froze, their eyes wide, mouths slightly agape, their thoughts seemingly halted for a moment.

“This… this is…” Lin Xiaolun’s voice trembled with a hint of disbelief; the sight before her shattered all her previous understanding.

“Li Dage, where is this?” Xue’er’s almond eyes were wide, staring in stunned silence.

Tie Tou blinked hard, and in a muffled voice squeezed out a few words: “So many, so many, big ships!”

Although Da Niu didn’t speak, his tightly clenched fists and slightly rising and falling chest revealed the surging emotions within him. Standing amidst the vast Star Sea and the giant warships, they felt as small as dust.

Just then, Li Mu’s brow furrowed almost imperceptibly.

Almost at the same instant, a cold, precise, and strongly exclusive probing wave, like an invisible giant net, swept instantly from the core region of this Star Domain, penetrating the distant space and firmly locking onto them.

Li Mu’s dormant Chaos Qi was stimulated by this, naturally flowing and forming an extremely faint gray halo around his body, firmly blocking the probing force that attempted to delve deeper.

However, this spontaneous defense made him, within the opponent’s precise and vast detection network, like a lighthouse suddenly lit up in the dark Void Realm, his position completely exposed.

“Teacher?” Lin Xiaolun felt a chill originating from the depths of her Soul, and instinctively moved closer to Li Mu.

Tie Tou and Da Niu immediately became alert, their Qi and blood instinctively surging around their bodies, muscles tensed like iron, their eyes sharp as they pierced towards the depths of the Star Domain where the fluctuations originated, a place dotted with the light of countless Spirit Ships.

Li Mu did not respond. He calmly raised his eyes, his gaze piercing through the Void Realm, falling upon that core area where prosperity and order intertwined.

A few breaths later, at the edge of his vision, amidst the magnificent backdrop of giant Spirit Ships and green planets, a dazzling silver light suddenly ignited!

Immediately, a second, a third… over a dozen silver lights flashed simultaneously, like an enraged swarm of bees, instantly breaking from their original trajectories!

Over a dozen uniformly shaped, sharply contoured silver-white warships, like star sharks scenting blood, sped towards Li Mu and his group, who were in a relatively isolated part of the Void Realm at the edge of the Star Domain, at a terrifying speed that tore through space!

Their size was far smaller than the mountain-like giant Spirit Ships, and the aura they exuded was more refined, colder, and efficient, full of murderous intent. Their bows were sharp like spears, covered in profound silver spirit patterns, and on both sides of their hulls, deep cannon muzzles silently gathered and charged destructive energy, flashing with a chilling, ominous light.

These silver-white warships moved with incredible speed and coordinated seamlessly as a single entity, traversing vast distances in an instant.

They did not approach too closely. They abruptly halted in the Void Realm less than a thousand li from Li Mu, their hulls adjusting slightly, instantly forming a tight, oppressive semi-encircling formation. All their sharp bows and cold cannon muzzles were precisely aimed at the isolated figure in the Void Realm—Li Mu. (End of Chapter)
