Chapter 71: [Remarks on the launch]

Uh, this feels a bit sudden!

Actually, I'm a bit bewildered myself.

I thought it would be released on the first of next month, and I was planning to have the first few chapters of the new storyline written, with the story just entering its optimal state.

Who knew it would be released tomorrow at noon (because the Sanjiang recommendation failed, so it's being released early).

As a result, although the background setting for this book is mostly complete, the plot hasn't really fully started, so releasing it now does feel a bit rushed.

Plus, I don't have any drafts saved up at the moment; recent updates are written and then posted on the same day.

So, I can only pull an all-nighter tonight and try to churn out about 10,000 words.

Then, one chapter out of those 10,000 words will still be a free chapter, and I'll try my best to finish the preceding content within it.

Therefore, there might only be two VIP chapters initially.

Then, I'll make up for it in the afternoon or evening, striving to also bring the VIP chapters to 10,000 words!

This should be me giving it my all, so I ask everyone to support the first subscription tomorrow.

After all, the market for this genre is limited, and too few people are writing this kind of book nowadays. It's not easy for everyone to find one, and you'd want to keep reading, right?

Finally, let's talk about the content of this book.

By now, everyone should be able to see what the book wants to write and what it's about!

As I said at the beginning, the 'Lord of All' (Lord of All) theme is just a facade, intended to avoid being eliminated during the recommendation process (though it wasn't written well enough and still didn't complete the recommendation).

But this book is indeed different from those fast-paced lord novels that constantly involve wars and troop explosions everywhere; what I want to write about is the detailed development of a territory, the protagonist's self-improvement, and the stories of various 'heroes,' famous ministers and fierce generals, historical figures, and some popular characters from the 'Sea of Illusion'!

I try my best to imagine in my mind what would happen when they arrive in the 'Eternal Land,' the clashes between characters, and then transform these into text.

Learning from the lesson of my previous book, 'The First Player on Earth,' where the characters became completely one-dimensional later on, with almost no character descriptions, this book specifically set up two segments: 'Secret Realm Challenges' and 'Descent Recruitment,' to provide each hero with a separate storyline!

At least in the early stages, I hope that for historical figures I like and others also like, there can be some events that highlight their personalities, hobbies, and character images, so they don't become the same old, generic famous ministers and military generals in lord-summoning novels who only nod, kowtow, and carry out orders without any personality.

Fortunately, although limited by my insufficient writing skills, the character descriptions are still not very three-dimensional.

But at least, they have some distinct characteristics.

Besides characters, the plot aspect of this kind of writing is also my weakness. 'The First Player on Earth' had its plot collapse in the later stages, but fortunately, I gained some experience.

In addition, the background and subsequent development of this book actually have a classic old book to reference, so the general direction is quite complete.

Therefore, I think this book still has a lot of potential.

Although the results of the release are probably not great, with 10,000 collections, I estimate only seven or eight hundred first subscriptions, or perhaps even lower.

But I can promise that as long as I get 500 first subscriptions to qualify for the attendance bonus, I plan to slowly write it for a long time.

Firstly, the people and stories in this book are indeed what I want to write, and secondly, I was unemployed due to the pandemic and am now attempting civil service exams, so I happen to have plenty of time.

So, please support it.

If the first subscriptions can exceed a thousand, I will try to write more than 6,000 words a day.

This should be my limit, as although this book may seem a bit straightforward, many parts are quite difficult to write and genuinely cannot be rushed.

Finally, thanks to Niu Niu of Four Kuai Wu, and book friend 20180707144157515 for the rewards.

And thanks again to book friend Chai/Hu for helping me correct errors every day!

Also, to all friends who cast monthly votes and recommendation votes during the new book period, allowing this book to successfully reach this point.

Thank you very much!
