Chapter 32: Holidays begin

After a thorough examination, Gao Nuo's foot injury was a soft tissue contusion, nothing serious. Erik ten Hag would not allow Gao Nuo to play with an injury; he did not want one match to affect Gao Nuo's career.

Unable to play in the England FA Cup final, Gao Nuo understood that this was for his future, but he still felt a sense of regret. Accepting the club's arrangement, Gao Nuo began his holiday early. The club wanted him to rest at home and not leave Manchester for now, awaiting the team's official break.

During his rest, Gao Nuo, in addition to his daily virtual training, also dedicated some time each day to studying the contents of the “Europe Training System” with the system. Gao Nuo had already claimed the system's reward immediately. Initially, Gao Nuo was reluctant to be forced to study by the system, but after the system's "patient" repeated prompts, he reluctantly studied a small portion and found it incredibly beneficial. Previously, training was simply following the coach's arrangements. Now, Gao Nuo could roughly understand some of the underlying logic of training. Different combinations of training programs could significantly amplify training results. With the same training time, Europe's advanced training concepts could indeed increase training quality to a greater extent.

The system's judgment of Gao Nuo as a whole was extremely accurate, far beyond what the current Manchester United Football Club could achieve. The old Manchester United was already somewhat detached from top-tier training standards. After receiving the new reward, the virtual training within the system had officially surpassed Gao Nuo's real-life training level. The only thing missing now was a high-level virtual coach, and Gao Nuo was full of anticipation for that.

Aside from training vigorously in the system space, Gao Nuo spent his free time sweetly with Wang Qing, going shopping, eating, and watching movies. They did all the things young couples do, and were recognized by fans a few times, happily signing autographs and taking photos. Life was quite carefree.

At noon that day, Li Qiang came to visit. After half a year of study, he basically had no problems with the work of an agent. Thanks to Gao Nuo's excellent performance, more and more endorsement contracts found Li Qiang, and some clubs also exchanged contact information with him.

The three of them discussed the establishment of an agent team while eating.

After listening to Li Qiang's introduction, Gao Nuo said, "Qiang Ge, building a team is a must. I had this plan before, but at that time, my influence wasn't enough. Now, taking on a few endorsements and using the money to recruit people should be no problem, right?"

Li Qiang said seriously, "There's no problem with the price. Building a team isn't something that happens overnight. I suggest we focus on the domestic market for now, and poach a mature team. It's the same for endorsements; all the international endorsements are small contracts and not conducive to raising your personal image. There are a few well-known domestic companies currently interested in signing you. We'll contact them after we return to England."

Gao Nuo nodded repeatedly, "Okay, okay, that's exactly what I was thinking. I have an even bigger plan, help me brainstorm."

Li Qiang straightened himself, signaling Gao Nuo to continue.

"It's like this, after I came to Manchester United, I realized that there's a significant gap between the training level in England and here. I gave my all to stay here, and how many young players in England don't even get a chance? I want to do something for them."

"I don't know much about the domestic football system either, but with just us, it's probably impossible to change it," Li Qiang said, frowning. He glanced at Gao Nuo and added, "At least not yet."

Gao Nuo didn't argue and continued, "That's right, I'm not trying to change anything. I just want to set up a team specifically to discover talented players in England, sign them, and then arrange for them to go abroad to play."

Li Qiang thought carefully for a while, then sighed and said, "This isn't difficult to do, but not to mention the cost of this team, it's hard for domestic youth academies to let players go, unless our agent team pays a buyout fee. In that case, we might not make money and even lose a lot."

Gao Nuo weighed it, but still stuck to his idea, "Qiang Ge, I can earn money. I must do something for domestic football players."

Li Qiang no longer objected, and the two temporarily ended the topic, deciding to discuss everything after the agent team was established.

Gao Nuo's idea was somewhat grand, and the reason for all of this was the system. Even though he had long been accustomed to the system's existence, Gao Nuo still occasionally felt incredible and uneasy, sometimes imagining what his life would be like without the system.

It was like someone who, after receiving a windfall, becomes generous and donates some money to seek peace of mind.

Gao Nuo was now like someone who had won the grand prize; the immense wealth of the system also put a lot of pressure on him. He also hoped to do something for his compatriots to alleviate his unease.

Wang Qing did not participate in their discussion, silently scrolling through TikTok on the side, watching videos of beautiful girls with "good figures" imitating Gao Nuo in the "Gao Nuo Transformation Challenge." Then she thought about her own flat figure and reluctantly conceded the old saying, "Big breasts, no brains."

After seeing Li Qiang off, Gao Nuo pondered the feasibility of the overseas study plan alone for a while, and then evening arrived.

Eating his nutritious meal, Gao Nuo's eyes suddenly lit up. He looked at Wang Qing with burning eyes. How could he have forgotten? Wasn't there a nutritionist right beside him? In the past six months, Gao Nuo's physical improvement was also inseparable from Wang Qing's feeding. Although he didn't understand the specific details, the increase in ability values detected by the system was real.

Wang Qing's face flushed slightly from the sudden intense gaze. She couldn't help but think, "Has this guy finally caught on?"

Gao Nuo swallowed the food in his mouth, "Qing Qing, how could I forget you? You're graduating soon, right? Come join my team as a nutritionist, what do you think?"

Wang Qing was startled, a flicker of disappointment barely noticeable, then she said, "Sure, I don't have any other plans anyway. Once I get my certification, I can officially sign a contract with you."

Gao Nuo was overjoyed, "What contract? What's mine is yours. Mainly, I want to eat your cooking every day. Perfect, once Qiang Ge's team is set up, you can manage it with him. The nutrition and sports medicine aspects will be handed over to you."

Looking at the excited and eloquent Gao Nuo, his profile, rugged and sharply defined as if sculpted by a knife and axe. Wang Qing couldn't help but start calculating in her mind, "Xiao Nuo is already so popular now, won't he be even more likable in the future? This idiot, he's like a big block of wood. No, I need to be more proactive."

Love makes people lose their intelligence, and even the highly intelligent Wang Qing could not escape doing some foolish things.

That evening, just as Gao Nuo was about to begin his system's virtual training, he heard Wang Qing's call, "Xiao Nuo, help me get my bath towel, I forgot to bring it."

Gao Nuo shyly pulled open the bathroom door a crack and handed in the bath towel. A soft small hand grabbed his wrist and pulled him in. Faced with the sudden exposure of spring light before his eyes, Gao Nuo's nosebleed uncontrollably gushed out.

On a dark and windy night, primitive desires surged.
