Chapter 37: Evil Path
"Of course it's my Huashan swordsmanship!" Jin Renfeng put away his sword and stood up, saying calmly.
He was very confident about this, and when fighting with swords, he did not use any sword techniques from other sects.
"You little beast, keep talking nonsense. Is this move included in the sword technique I taught you?" Yue Buqun shouted angrily.
After saying that, he stretched out his sword and performed a move, which was surprisingly the same sword technique that Jin Renfeng had used before.
"What's wrong with this move?" Jin Renfeng was puzzled. "It's just a split sword move."
"You little bastard, you still don't admit it? You have clearly gone astray."
Yue Buqun pointed at Jin Renfeng and cursed.
"Master, why do you insult me for no reason? Where did I go astray?" Jin Renfeng questioned.
“The sword is more important than the Qi. The sword comes before the Qi. Your swordsmanship is clearly the sword sect’s method.” Yue Buqun pointed his fingers and shouted.
"I thought you had made great progress in swordsmanship, and I was happy for you, but I didn't expect that you had learned the evil ways of the Sword Sect."
"Don't think you can cover it up by using some strange sword techniques. I have seen many of these sword techniques in the Sword Sect."
"I don't know about the two sects of sword and qi. I just want to improve my strength." Seeing Yue Buqun's misunderstanding, Jin Renfeng explained. "Besides, I have never used the sword before qi method. My sword method has always emphasized both sword and qi."
"Brother, the matter has not been clarified yet, so don't jump to conclusions."
Ning Zhongze saw the master and disciple arguing, so he walked into the scene and stopped the furious Yue Buqun.
She turned around and asked, "Feng'er, what's going on? Where did you get that sword skill?"
"Actually, those sword techniques were all learned by the disciples themselves." Jin Renfeng replied confidently.
In the previous sword fight, he did not use any of the sword techniques taught by his uncle Feng Tai. All he used were the moves he learned from the Huashan sword technique after he realized the state of no moves.
Upon hearing this, Yue Buqun’s expression froze.
"Did you create your own sword technique?" Ning Zhongze asked in surprise.
"That's right!" Jin Renfeng said loudly.
"When I first started practicing, I didn't know why my internal skills were making slow progress. I had no choice but to turn to swordsmanship."
"However, the way of swordsmanship has its limits. Even though my Huashan swordsmanship is profound and extensive, those swordsmanship disciples have already fully comprehended it."
"Later, by chance, I realized that this sword technique could be completely disassembled and integrated according to my own understanding. Then it would become a new sword technique."
"So I tried this, and further developed my Huashan Sword Technique, which led to the creation of this endless Huashan Sword Technique."
Ning Zhongze suddenly realized,
"In that case, Feng'er's swordsmanship has nothing to do with the Sword Sect."
"That's right. How old is he? We haven't mentioned it before. How does he know about the Sword Sect?"
Yue Buqun snorted coldly.
"But it is a fact that he has embarked on an evil path."
"You can't say that!" Ning Zhongze denied Yue Buqun's statement.
"Feng'er was also trapped by her internal strength, and thus fell into the evil path."
"You and I both know that his inner strength has reached a high level, but he cannot make any progress because of the limitations of his inner strength and mental method."
"If there is a superior internal skill, Feng Er will not make any mistakes."
"He has outstanding talent and strong internal strength. If he had not run out of options, why would he abandon his internal strength and turn to swordsmanship?"
Ning Zhongze sighed.
"In the final analysis, the root of the problem lies with you and me, our teacher. We were negligent after all, which led to Feng'er falling into this situation."
Yue Buqun looked unhappy.
Although he now knew the truth, he did not feel that he had done anything wrong. Ning Zhongze said,
"Brother, since Feng'er's internal strength has reached a bottleneck, why don't you teach Feng'er the "Purple Clouds Skill"? How about that?"
"This will also prevent him from going astray again."
Yue Buqun flatly rejected it.
"The Purple Cloud Magic Skill is a secret of the Qi Sect. He has just entered the evil path and made a big mistake. How can I teach him the Purple Cloud Magic Skill? Can I be rewarded for making a mistake?"
Ning Zhongze shook his head and said in a deep voice,
"Since my disciple has gone astray, you, as his master, should lead him back."
"Do you want Feng'er to continue to be troubled by his inner strength? Wouldn't that make him sink deeper and deeper into the evil path?"
Yue Buqun remained silent for a while before he spoke:
"The Purple Cloud Divine Art must not be passed on lightly. Ren Feng's character is not yet settled, so it cannot be passed on."
Ning Zhongze had a look of dissatisfaction on his face.
"The Purple Cloud Divine Art should be passed on to outstanding disciples. Now that Ren Feng is trapped by his internal energy, how can we, as teachers, just sit back and watch?"
“Junior sister, there is no need to say more. The Zixia Divine Art is too important. No matter what, you cannot pass it on to him today.” Yue Buqun said firmly.
"Unless he makes great contributions in the future, it will be impossible for him to pass on his skills."
Ning Zhongze sighed, knowing that there was no way to solve the matter.
Jin Renfeng didn't care about the matter of passing on his skills. Although the "Zixia Divine Art" was a first-rate divine skill, much better than Huashan's internal energy, it had few outstanding features.
The only demonstration of his ability was that he was able to withstand Zuo Lengchan's icy true qi, which was far behind the secret manuals of magical skills such as the "Nine Yang Divine Art".
Now he was about to go down the mountain to search for the secret manual and inheritance, so he was not greedy for the "Purple Cloud Divine Art".
"Master's wife, since the matter of swordsmanship has been explained clearly, may I be allowed to go down the mountain?" Jin Renfeng asked.
Madam Ning's expression was moved. "Feng'er, your master scolded you so much, but you still wanted to share our worries?"
"Swordsmanship is swordsmanship, and going down the mountain is going down the mountain. They cannot be generalized." Jin Renfeng said calmly.
He has been in this world for several years, and it is all thanks to his master Yue Buqun and his mistress Ning Zhongze that he has been able to practice swordsmanship and live a peaceful life.
If you owe someone a favor, being scolded is really nothing.
"Good boy! Really good boy!" Ning Zhongze sighed. "Master's wife has agreed to your leaving the mountain."
"Thank you, Master and Madam!" Jin Renfeng smiled happily.
Yue Buqun remained silent.
Now that he knew the truth, his previous actions were really inhumane.
"Dad, Mom, what were you arguing about with Senior Brother? What about the Sword Sect or Qi Sect?"
At this time, Yue Lingshan also came over. She leaned next to Madam Ning and asked with her head raised.
"The Sword Sect is an old story of our Huashan Sect. It caused countless bloodshed! Many ancestors died because of it." Ning Zhongze sighed, and then she looked at Jin Renfeng.
"Feng'er, don't blame your master for being ruthless. It's really because of the Sword Sect's affairs that so many people have been killed, so he has to be cautious."
"I don't take it to heart, but Master and Madam, can you help me solve the confusion regarding the Sword Sect?" Jin Renfeng asked, pretending to be ignorant.
Ning Zhongze and Yue Buqun looked at each other, and then Yue Buqun said,
"Well! These things must be explained clearly. I will take this opportunity to explain to you the origin of the Sword Sect."
"The origin of all this can be traced back to the two philosophies of our Huashan Sect."
