"Elf King!"
Tang Shuang uttered these four words.
Fang Xin couldn't help but be startled.
This was a new King of the Seven Kings, unlocked after himself, the King of Slaughter, and the King of Calamity, and the King of Reincarnation.
"What kind of existence is the Elf King?"
Tang Shuang thought for a moment and explained, "The Elf King is very powerful; he is the master of all spirits and terrifying beasts. Legend has it that the Elf King can command all the terrifying beasts and divine beasts in this world. Besides that, the Elf King is also immortal, and his blood is holy water. No matter how severely wounded one is, as long as they have one breath left, a sip of the Elf King's blood can bring them back to full life!"
Fang Xin listened, utterly stunned. "Then do you know where the Elf King is?"
Tang Shuang shook her head. "The Elf King is still in slumber, and I dare not enter the place where he sleeps."
"Where?" Fang Xin quickly asked, intrigued.
After a slight pause, Tang Shuang said, "I don't know what that place is called, and it's an unlocked area on the map. I estimate that even your Ninth Division's internal map hasn't fully unlocked that place."
"Are you talking about the Land of Eternal Night?" Fang Xin, having looked at the map before, roughly guessed based on Tang Shuang's description.
"It's that large black area on the map," Tang Shuang explained.
Fang Xin opened the map, pointing to the entirely black area. "Are you talking about here?"
"Yes!"
"In which specific direction?"
Tang Shuang looked at the map, then identified the directions, finally pointing to one. "The Elf King is in the Land of Eternal Night over here! I can't mark the exact location!"
Fang Xin marked the spot Tang Shuang pointed to on the map.
Tang Shuang was no longer as aloof as before; her words started to become more frequent. "You are Zero Arbiter, so can you sense where the King of Slaughter is?"
Fang Xin spoke nonsense with a straight face. "The King of Slaughter is omnipresent; he might be on the horizon one second and right before your eyes the next."
Tang Shuang's eyes were full of adoration. "As expected of the Head of the Seven Kings, the King of Slaughter! Have you two ever communicated?"
"We have!"
"Ah? And then? Where did the King of Slaughter go? Did he just disappear?"
"Yes!"
Tang Shuang sighed wistfully. "Under normal circumstances, Judicators should be with the Seven Kings at all times. But who told you that you have to judge the Head of the Seven Kings, the King of Slaughter? Such a terrifying existence isn't something just anyone can subdue. If he doesn't let you stay by his side, there's nothing you can do!"
Fang Xin, following Tang Shuang's lead, also pretended to regret and acted. "Indeed!"
Seeing this, Tang Shuang even comforted Fang Xin. "But it's okay. The King of Slaughter is the Head of the Seven Kings, so he definitely has enough arrogance. The reason he doesn't let you follow him is probably because he thinks your current strength isn't enough. It would be very dangerous if you were by his side; he's doing it for your own good."
"Right!" Fang Xin chimed in.
"What does the King of Slaughter look like?" Tang Shuang was like a curious child now, completely devoid of her previous unapproachable, aloof demeanor.
After a brief thought, Fang Xin replied, "He is very handsome and charismatic, the epitome of a noble and elegant man, as handsome as Pan An, dashing, refined, charming, magnificent, and graceful!"
Tang Shuang nodded. "I think so too! After all, he is the Head of the Seven Kings!"
After a moment's thought, Fang Xin then asked, "You are Judge Number Twelve. Logically, the one teamed with you should be Judge Number One. Has he looked for you?"
Tang Shuang shook her head. "No. I told you before, we Judicators ranked lower cannot sense the Judicators ranked higher; only the higher-ranked Judicators can sense the lower-ranked ones. So I can only wait for them to find me!"
As they spoke, the two had already left the city. Fang Xin's speed was extremely fast, and Tang Shuang, riding a black panther, could also keep up with Fang Xin's speed.
After more than ten minutes, the two had reached the outskirts and saw several warehouses in the distance.
Tang Shuang pointed to one of the warehouses. "We agreed to meet there!"
Fang Xin did feel a tingling sensation in his palm, but he wasn't in a hurry to go over because the direction of the sensation in his palm was not the same as the direction Tang Shuang pointed.
His sensory net spread out. The warehouse was indeed empty, and there were even small traps set up.
Fang Xin pretended to walk towards it, with Tang Shuang leading the way.
But as they reached the entrance of the warehouse, Fang Xin's body suddenly flickered, heading directly in the direction his palm sensed.
A few seconds after Tang Shuang entered the warehouse, a startled cry came. Her two feet sank into the ground, which had suddenly turned into a swamp, and her body kept sinking deeper. Tang Shuang was terrified, her face drained of color, and she quickly shouted, "Li Gousheng! Xiao Qi! It's me! Where are you!"
Fang Xin appeared out of thin air, looking at the young man in a hoodie before him.
The young man was very tall, just a bit hunched, with a full head of messy gray hair that seemed to have been neglected for a long time.
This young man in front of him bore some resemblance to the photo Fang Xin had seen from Xiong Mao Jie, but it was only a resemblance. Seeing him in person, the difference was quite significant; his previous appearance was likely a disguise.
The young man's eyes carried a natural melancholy, staring at Fang Xin from behind his disheveled long hair.
And by the young man's side stood a small figure.
Wearing a large raincoat, the hood covered half of his face.
He was currently looking up at Fang Xin.
He was a very cute child, like a porcelain doll, with two large, spirited eyes. The little fellow looked very lively.
The young man stared at Fang Xin, observing him for a few seconds.
"Zero Arbiter?"
"King of Calamity?" Fang Xin stared at the young man and retorted.
The young man raised his hand, his pupils suddenly turning bluish-gray, and his entire aura underwent a drastic change, his eyes filled with a sharp intensity.
On the back of his hand, several profound and obscure runes could be seen emerging.
The young man introduced himself, "King of Calamity, Li Gousheng!"
"My name is Xiao Qi!"
The cute child beside the young man looked up and said in a childish voice, raising his adorable little paw to reveal a character for 'ten' in his palm.
"You are Judicator Number Ten?" Fang Xin was startled. "I thought your name was Xiao Qi, so you were Number Seven!"
The cute child looked up, pushing his hood back to reveal most of his adorable face. "Because I can only count to seven!"
Fang Xin clicked his tongue, glancing at Tang Shuang, who was still trapped in the swamp in the warehouse not far away.
How could there be another one with a muddled mind, and a child laborer who can only count to seven? What exactly are the selection criteria for these Judicators? Is it random?
Fang Xin gestured towards Tang Shuang in the distance. "Can you let her go, so she stops wailing?"
Li Gousheng grunted, pointed and pressed his hand, and Tang Shuang, lying on the ground, trembled, covered in sweat.
Fang Xin then asked the question he had wanted to ask earlier.
"Do you know who the other Seven Kings are?"
