Chapter 73: Two skills

The Crescent Moon Scimitar pressed against Fang Xin's neck.

His skin broke.

Blood slowly trickled down.

But the scimitar did not advance another inch.

Fang Xin's two fingers clamped down on Ximen Boguang's Crescent Moon Scimitar.

No matter how much strength Ximen Boguang exerted, he couldn't push it forward another inch.

Fang Xin's scarlet eyes stared at Ximen Boguang.

He tilted his head slightly.

The wound on his neck healed visibly.

Upon seeing this, Ximen Boguang panicked for the first time.

"How can this be?"

Ximen Boguang hadn't listened to Ma Wenbing's words at all just now.

He was still thinking about knocking Fang Xin to the ground, enjoying both men and women, and then leaving triumphantly.

In his estimation, this was just a clueless new recruit from the Sky Shield Bureau, but who would have thought this new recruit would be so sinister?

"What kind of Talent is this?" Ximen Boguang abandoned the Crescent Moon Scimitar and tried to escape.

"The Talent that will take your life!"

Ximen Boguang turned to leave.

Fang Xin raised his arm.

On his arm,

five blood-colored Rings of Slaughter appeared.

Previously, after Fang Xin summoned the King of Slaughter to take over his body,

this skill seemed to be branded into his mind.

The Rings of Slaughter, one inside the other, grew larger, longer, and thicker.

They imprinted themselves, one after another, on Ximen Boguang's back.

Ximen Boguang staggered.

A fist-sized blood hole appeared in his chest.

Ximen Boguang lowered his head in disbelief, looking at his chest.

He stiffly turned his head to look in Fang Xin's direction, swayed, and tried to say something, but in the end, he didn't, collapsing to the ground in a pool of blood.

Fang Xin went up and delivered several more blows, then turned his head to cautiously observe his surroundings.

Only after confirming there was no further danger did Fang Xin relax.

A speck of blood-red light flew from Ximen Boguang's brow and entered Fang Xin's hand.

Fang Xin clearly felt his Divine Spring grow considerably stronger again.

He took the spatial ring from Ximen Boguang's hand and, after inspecting it, Fang Xin felt a wave of disdain.

This scoundrel's spatial ring was absolutely the most bizarre Fang Xin had ever seen.

There was only a little over two million in cash, and besides the Crescent Moon Scimitar and the small black knife Fang Xin had just confiscated, there was only a coconut shell helmet and this strange powder box.

A wanted criminal was not even as wealthy as Fang Xin.

But this scoundrel's two spatial rings, each the size of a hundred-square-meter apartment, were filled with all sorts of aphrodisiacs, aphrodisiac wines, various animal penises, gaudy 'divine oils,' and strange magazines, teaching about the speed, angle, frequency, environment, and language of 'training' during yin-yang convergence, in addition to many small toys Fang Xin had never even seen before.

Fang Xin's pure and innocent mind was defiled by a third by the contents of the spatial ring.

"Shameless, despicable, utterly brazen! I must thoroughly criticize these items when I get back!"

Among this pile of things, only that powder box caught Fang Xin's eye. The powder inside, controlled by mental power, could accurately pinpoint a person's location if attached to them, and even serve to control them.

Fang Xin wiped the box; it had the words "Nian Rang" on it, which he presumed was its name.

He tucked the box into his spatial ring.

Fang Xin searched Ximen Boguang's body again.

There was no need to turn in this corpse, as he had witnessed Fang Xin using his Slaughter Talent, and if his memory were erased with a Memory Wipe Orb, a suspicious person might become wary upon encountering it.

Fang Xin put the corpse into his spatial ring.

He then teleported the Ximen Boguang he had killed the first time back.

While doing all this,

a sound came from behind him.

Fang Xin turned around.

He saw the girl Ximen Boguang had abducted, lying on the ground, waking up.

The girl looked at Fang Xin warily.

She pushed her feet against the ground and retreated backward, her back hitting a shelf, causing snacks on the shelf to fall onto her head.

The girl was very beautiful, with two eyes, two nostrils, and one mouth.

Fang Xin glanced at her, "Ximen Boguang is dead, you're safe!"

Unexpectedly, the girl still couldn't stop retreating, her eyes filled with terror.

Fang Xin touched his face; although he had used a mask to disguise himself, he looked normal enough, not to the point of scaring someone.

The girl curled into a ball, hugging herself with her arms, looking at Fang Xin in terror, her voice trembling.

"Mir... mirror!"

Fang Xin turned to look behind him.

A mirror stood not far from his side.

Moonlight streamed in through the window.

The shop maintained sufficient visibility.

And in the mirror beside Fang Xin,

the Fang Xin in the mirror was facing Fang Xin directly.

Something like this suddenly happening late at night was indeed a little scary.

Seeing the scene in the mirror, Fang Xin couldn't help but be startled.

He hadn't expected to see the King of Slaughter under these circumstances!

The familiar voice echoed in his mind.

"Looking for me?"

Fang Xin glanced at the girl, realizing she was only terrified and hadn't noticed the Fang Xin in the mirror speaking.

To prevent the girl from remembering these things, Fang Xin activated his mental power to use the Eye of Divine Authority, and the girl's expression became blank. Fang Xin took out a Memory Wipe Orb to erase the girl's memory, and after doing so, the girl's eyes rolled back, and she fainted.

Fang Xin turned his head back to the mirror.

"How do you appear in this form?"

"On the night of the full moon!"

"That's it?"

Fang Xin was annoyed; it meant he had been acting like an idiot before, watching his grandfather's video every night and spending so much time in the bathroom, which had made Fang Huilan very curious. Jiang Weidong had even explained to Fang Huilan that young men at that age do certain things, and all men go through that age, so they shouldn't be caught, as it would be very embarrassing.

The Fang Xin in the mirror shrugged, "What else? Do you expect me to wait in front of the mirror every night? You're not that stupid, are you?"

"Of course not, I definitely wouldn't do that!" Fang Xin said.

Unexpectedly, the Fang Xin in the mirror laughed, "I am you, and you are me. Don't you think I'd know what you've done?"

Fang Xin grumbled inwardly, "Then you ask you..."

The Fang Xin in the mirror said with a half-smile, "My mother is your mother; think before you speak!"

Fang Xin swallowed the latter half of his sentence.

The Fang Xin in the mirror said concisely, "Raise your hand and place it on the mirror. Your Slaughter Talent combat power has reached level five; it's time to awaken some skills!"

Fang Xin placed his hand on it.

The moment his hand touched the mirror,

something suddenly appeared in Fang Xin's mind.

This feeling was very strange; it wasn't like something was forcibly poured in, but more like existing things were awakened, a feeling as if long-forgotten childhood memories, covered in dust for a very long time, suddenly came to mind at a certain point in time.

They were two skills.

These two skills made Fang Xin's eyes light up instantly.

Weren't these exactly what he needed right now?
