Chapter 3: Not a smooth live broadcast

“Hmm… it seems like no one is watching.”

A Tu looked at the empty live stream, with only one or two idle people coming in for a quick glance before leaving.

“Looks like a marketing account, I’m out.”

This was the only bullet comment. A Tu smiled helplessly at the mere 5 viewers in his live stream.

“Uh… does my account really look that much like a marketing account?”

No one answered.

A Tu continued to talk to himself. Even if no one watched, he could still edit it into video material.

“Starting now, I’m going out to explore those monsters you talk about.” A Tu picked up his phone and swept it across the four Pokemon lying in his room. “These are my partners. They will be responsible for protecting my life and proving to you that the monsters you speak of are actually independent individuals with intelligence and thoughts, shattering your prejudices!”

“?”

“Is the streamer raising monsters at home?”

“666, he’s eaten too many red beans.”

When the only five people in the live stream saw the Pokemon in A Tu’s home, they were all extremely shocked.

Something that even the country couldn't handle, and he dared to keep them at home? That was clearly a sign he’d eaten too many red beans, expressing the streamer’s longing.

At the same time, the number of viewers in the live stream began to rise, rapidly increasing from the initial five to several hundred, and it was still climbing at an astonishing rate.

Some even claimed to have called the police to rescue the streamer.

“They’re a bit overreactive, everyone,” A Tu muttered softly.

Holding his phone, he opened the room door, and Sylveon jumped onto A Tu’s shoulder.

“Zeraora, Gardevoir, Meowscarada, you can stay at home. Otherwise, it will be a bit troublesome. Eevee and I will go together.”

Zeraora and Gardevoir nodded. Meowscarada walked over. A Tu didn't need to guess what she wanted to do. He reached out and vigorously ruffled her fluffy head, while also looking at Zeraora.

“If only Zeraora could be like my grass cat,” A Tu silently said to himself.

Feeling A Tu’s gaze, Zeraora’s half-clenched fist crackled with electricity.

Zeraora: Plasma Thunder Punch warning.

“Cough, cough, let’s go, Eevee.”

At this moment, the police station was in utter chaos.

“Team Wang, we need to rescue that person now. He must have been controlled by those monsters!”

A young police officer held his phone, showing A Tu’s live stream to his superior.

He flipped to the backend, displaying several screenshots.

“This green-haired humanoid monster is the guy who caused us heavy losses in the last operation. This time, we not only need to rescue the person, but also decapitate the enemy!”

Team Wang closed his eyes, recalling the last expulsion operation. They encountered a tribe of this monster. Although there were no fatalities, most of the team members were injured. Those guys merely waved their hands, and their individual combat weapons were scrapped. Even when their Type 15 light tank was deployed, the barrel of its 105mm smoothbore cannon was bent 180 degrees in just a moment.

“Calm down. First, organize the existing forces, then make a plan.”

“Yes, Team Wang!”

A Tu was still live streaming, essentially giving the police a real-time location coordinate.

“Brothers, look what I found? It’s a Rattata.”

“Damn it, this purple rat ate my newly bought car. I wish I could kill these monsters with my own hands.”

“Streamer, go let it bite you, and I’ll send you a rocket.”

“Eevee, Eevee.”

Sylveon enthusiastically greeted the Rattata.

But when the Rattata saw that Sylveon was with a human, its eyes turned red, and it immediately used Quick Attack on A Tu.

As a Champion, A Tu still had the necessary reaction time. Upon seeing Rattata’s aggressive intent, he immediately commanded Sylveon to counterattack.

“Sylveon, Disarming Voice.”

Sylveon perched on A Tu’s head, emitting a charming Growl. Because the power gap between Rattata and Sylveon was too great, it lost its ability to battle the moment it was hit.

“Holy crap, is the streamer the legendary closed-door disciple of the Beast Taming Sect?!”

“Can only monsters defeat monsters?”

“Streamer, how did you train it? Quickly teach me.”

A Tu felt a pang in his heart when he saw the bullet comments in the live stream, because everyone was treating Pokemon as animals and tools, rather than as partners they could rely on.

“Alas, the revolution has not yet succeeded, comrades still need to work hard,” A Tu silently encouraged himself.

He picked up the Rattata, placed it in the grass by the roadside, and then left, preparing to go for a stroll in a nearby park.

“Holy crap, why are there Beedrill in the park?!” A Tu was chased by dozens of Beedrill. With so many, even Sylveon would have a hard time fighting them, not to mention they even attacked the Trainer, completely disregarding any Pokemon battle rules.

“Hey, hey, hey, stop chasing!”

A Tu shouted back, and suddenly noticed that all the Beedrill stopped pursuing him.

“Rescue the hostage, prepare to battle!”

Dozens of fully armed, heavily armed soldiers held rifles aimed at the relentlessly pursuing Beedrill.

“Prepare to fire!”

“Holy crap, it’s real! I thought the streamer was just acting it out.”

“Blast these monsters!”

“Quickly arrest the streamer and give him a thorough investigation.”

“Stop, stop, don’t shoot yet, they are all good citizens!” A Tu waved his hands, hoping to alleviate the tense atmosphere at the scene.

Fearing that they would shoot Sylveon along with him, A Tu had Sylveon hang on him with her ribbons, like a backpack on his back, while also allowing Eevee to keep an eye on the Beedrill.

Although the army in front had not yet opened fire, they were all on edge. As soon as these Beedrill made any move, bullets would madly rush towards them.

“Beedrill, I didn’t mean to intrude on your territory. Let’s both take a step back. I’ll tell them not to shoot, okay?”

The Beedrill thought for a moment, then slowly retreated.

Watching the Beedrill leave, everyone breathed a sigh of relief, but their guns remained lowered, aimed at A Tu, or more accurately, at the Sylveon on A Tu’s back.

The leader shouted at A Tu: “Comrade, do you have your own consciousness?”

“Huh?”

A Tu froze for a moment before realizing that they mistakenly thought he was controlled by Sylveon.

“Wait a minute, did you misunderstand something? The one behind me… isn’t an enemy, she’s my friend!”

Sylveon jumped out from behind A Tu, her ribbons floating around her, and the scene once again became tense.

“Arceus, what do we do now?”
