Today isn't about drinking; it's a serious emergency.
Early this morning, the baby cried, saying her stomach hurt, and she couldn't even eat breakfast, so I had to carry her to West China Second Hospital. There were many people, so we waited in the emergency room for over two hours. After various examinations, they said her appendix was slightly enlarged, indicating a risk of acute appendicitis.
So we transferred to West China First Hospital to see the emergency surgery department, which involved another four-plus hours of waiting and various tests. Finally, it was confirmed that her appendix was still somewhat swollen.
The doctor, who looked very young, even called his leader or teacher to inquire about the situation, and the conclusion was that appendicitis could be ruled out.
This means my little darling, who is less than three years old, won't need surgery. I couldn't even imagine her having surgery at such a young age.
The Present is back at the Second Hospital. The doctor decided to give her an IV to reduce inflammation. My little darling is finally getting her first IV drip in her life.
