Chapter 96: Set off

Jiang Lin nodded, but then immediately made another request.

“To be honest, I’m not great with directions. Can you find someone to take me directly there?”

Jade nodded gently, her tone soft: “Of course, no problem. I can arrange it now.

If you’re patient enough, after we’ve dealt with the matters in Penacony, I’ll have Aventurine personally escort you. With a P45-level executive accompanying you, it will be faster.”

Jiang Lin thought for a moment, then shook his head.

“No need. Just find anyone; I plan to leave now.”

Jade nodded, not saying much, and simply gave Jiang Lin a contact method.

After receiving it, Jiang Lin immediately added the person as a friend. It was a company employee named Luo Ping.

“Luo Ping: Hello, Mr. Jiang Lin, it’s a pleasure to be of service.”

“Luo Ping: Where are you? I’ll come pick you up.”

“Jiang Lin: Come to the deck of The Opaline.”

“Luo Ping: Okay, please wait a moment.”

After putting away his phone, Jiang Lin also left.

Shortly after, Jiang Lin arrived on the deck.

On his way, Jiang Lin also saw March 7th and the others “playing a game” there.

After about 5 minutes, the company employee named Luo Ping arrived beside Jiang Lin.

“Hello, Mr. Jiang Lin, I will be in charge of your itinerary for the next period of time.”

Jiang Lin sized up the man in front of him. He looked very young, but what concerned Jiang Lin most was that he felt the blessing of abundance.

“A Xianzhou native?”

Luo Ping nodded and introduced himself very sincerely.

“Yes, as expected of Mr. Jiang Lin. This kind of insight is not something an ordinary person possesses.

I am Luo Ping, from Yaoging Xianzhou. I’ve been with the company for over 200 years and am currently a P36.”

Jiang Lin nodded, without any hesitation.

“Let’s depart directly.”

Luo Ping had obviously done his homework and somewhat understood Jiang Lin’s personality. After bringing two company employees, he directly led Jiang Lin to the company’s real-world spaceship.

“Mr. Jiang Lin, please see, this is the company’s latest developed subspace jump ship. Speed and experience are absolutely guaranteed.”

Jiang Lin nodded, then asked:

“How long will it take to arrive?”

Luo Ping thought for a moment and gave a relatively conservative answer:

“Because the distance to Penacony is indeed a bit far, it will probably take you about two and a half weeks.”

Jiang Lin frowned slightly, then looked at Luo Ping again and asked:

“There are repair facilities on the ship, right? Give them to me.”

Luo Ping was stunned but didn’t ask further. As a P36 employee, his execution was beyond reproach.

Shortly after, once Jiang Lin had quickly scanned the spaceship’s user guide, he began tinkering with tools.

This left Luo Ping and the two company employees beside him dumbfounded.

However, none of them spoke. Luo Ping was out of trust for Jiang Lin, while the two company employees were not qualified to interject.

After only two and a half system hours, Jiang Lin stopped.

“It’s good now. I’ll drive it later.”

Hearing Jiang Lin’s words, Luo Ping quickly said:

“How can we let you drive? You are an honored guest. Please let me drive.”

Jiang Lin raised an eyebrow, confirming with Luo Ping:

“Are you sure?”

“Of course. Putting everything else aside, I can definitely handle this small spaceship.”

Jiang Lin said no more and directly boarded the spaceship.

Luo Ping and the other two quickly followed.

Luo Ping confidently sat in the cockpit, while Jiang Lin naturally entered the lounge.

Of the remaining two, one was assisting Luo Ping, and the other found a place to sit, ready to be dispatched at any time.

Although this spaceship didn’t look large from the outside, its interior space was very ample.

Without needing to check, Jiang Lin knew that it utilized a technology similar to a pocket dimension.

And this small lounge actually contained 17 areas: drinks, massage, gourmet food, esports, board games, cinema, and more.

Jiang Lin looked at the comprehensive lounge area and couldn’t help but wonder what kind of harsh life he had lived before.

While Jiang Lin was surveying the lounge, Luo Ping in the cockpit found himself in a predicament.

“This… isn’t right, is it?”

Looking at the completely transformed cockpit, Luo Ping flipped through the driving guide until it was worn out, but still couldn’t find where the corresponding buttons were… After another 5 minutes of frantic searching, Luo Ping gave up… He got up and went to the lounge, finding Jiang Lin with some embarrassment… “Um… Mr. Jiang Lin, there’s been a bit of an accident…”

“As expected…”

Jiang Lin was a little disappointed. Although he had made some special modifications to this spaceship, it was still a spaceship after all.

He saw Luo Ping so confident and thought he truly had the ability to pilot the modified spaceship.

Jiang Lin was about to go drive himself, but suddenly he had a good idea.

Jiang Lin took out a blue energy body under Luo Ping’s gaze… “Mr. Jiang Lin, what is this?”

But Jiang Lin didn’t answer. He just went to the cockpit and directly connected the “Spark”… Before the other three could feel confused, they incredulously discovered that the spaceship seemed to have undergone some unknown change?

Rings of blue energy continuously spread outwards from the location of the Spark.

Wherever the energy reached, the surrounding equipment seemed to become… active?

As this thought emerged, Luo Ping felt he must be crazy, about to become Mara-Struck. Otherwise, how could he have such an absurd and preposterous idea?

But then he seemed to think of something else, his expression changing from incredulity to surprise and sudden realization.

“Could it be… this is Mr. Jiang Lin’s famous work, the Spark?!”

But before Jiang Lin could answer, a deep male voice rang out.

“I am Megatron. Hello, great Creator sir…”
