This book is still in Lao Ao's usual style, but its shortcomings are obvious: the pace is slow, there are not enough exciting parts, and there are too many foreshadowings.
For example, many people complained that the audition plot of "The Young Emperor" was written too slowly and too slowly.
But I can say with confidence that I was definitely not deliberately writing a watered-down story. All the groundwork laid in the previous chapters was used in the later chapters. I wouldn't say it's a well-thought-out, interlocking story, but it's definitely a carefully arranged plot.
