Chapter 2: Super Forest

“Boom—” A violent explosion swept through the entire forest, and azure Psychic power rampaged through the center of the forest.

“Gardevoir?” In the central area of the forest, a dozen green-haired humanoid Pokémon looked up at the familiar Psychic power fluctuation, somewhat surprised. However, their surprise quickly turned into anger, and they all vanished from their original spots.

“Damn it, she still made it here. We’re going to disappoint the Clan Leader again.” A man with three claw marks on his face watched the forest before him with full vigilance.

“You guys, hurry up! This is the Psychic Forest. If you don’t want to die, quickly deal with these two guys.” A trace of apprehension appeared in the man’s sinister eyes.

“What’s there to be afraid of, Big Brother? We’ve almost taken down a Champion Level Gardevoir. What can a few Elite Level ones do to us?” A bald man looked at the forest with disdain.

“You damn idiot, don’t drag your brothers down with you. What do you mean ‘a few Elite Level ones’?” The sinister man slapped the bald man hard, clearly frustrated.

They couldn’t even catch a Champion Gardevoir so weak that she could barely use her Psychic abilities, and he still had the nerve to call Elite Level ones ‘just a few’?

“Do you think we can defeat a Champion? This time, we just caught Gardevoir during her weak period. If she escapes, we’re finished,” the sinister man glared at his subordinate and cursed fiercely.

“You don’t want to face the retaliation of Psychic Pokémon, let alone a Champion Pokémon. And there’s more than just a Champion in this forest.”

“There are at least a dozen Elite Level Pokémon in here, and three or four Champion Pokémon. There’s even a rumor that there’s a Pokémon that has broken through to Master Level.”

“Understood, Boss. We’ll continue now,” the bald man awkwardly rubbed his head.

“Never mind, it’s too late. Come out, Weavile,” the sinister man seemed to sense something and released his Pokémon.

From the Poké Ball, Weavile emerged, and a thick black light emanated from her hands.

Dark Pulse spread out like ripples on water, speeding towards the seemingly empty woods ahead.

Just as the bald man thought his captain's Weavile had missed.

The space along the Dark Pulse’s path suddenly twisted, and a dozen Boss Gardevoir with glowing red eyes appeared.

The leading Boss Gardevoir waved her hand, and the Dark Pulse was instantly compressed into a small black bead, which then vanished without a trace.

“Boss, can we beat them?”

The bald man cautiously shuffled closer to the sinister man, quietly asking what they should do next.

The sinister man, however, was in no mood to deal with his subordinate. Cold sweat involuntarily streamed down his forehead. He knew that what had just been compressed was Dark Pulse.

That was a Dark-type move, yet it was erased by Psychic power.

Dark-type is immune to Psychic, even if the level difference is too great to be completely immune.

But even the Psychic Elite Four’s Gardevoir, who had just reached Champion Level, could only partially negate Dark Pulse. This one completely erased Dark Pulse with Psychic power.

The rumor said there was a Pokémon in the Psychic Forest that had broken through to Master Level. It seemed to be this Gardevoir.

“Operation canceled, we’re retreating.”

Without waiting for anyone else to react, the sinister man jumped onto a newly appeared Crobat, threw down a few Poké Balls, and fled without looking back.

The bald man hadn’t expected his boss to run so decisively. He also wanted to run, but before he could act, his body was restrained by the Gardevoir’s Psychic power from a distance.

The sinister man, who had already mounted the Crobat and fled, was also enveloped in a Psychic glow and was slammed hard next to the bald man.

“gardevoir!” (How dare you invade our Psychic Forest!)

A Gardevoir, even larger than the Boss Gardevoir, with red light glowing in her eyes, instantly appeared before the two.

Visibly, the atmosphere around this Gardevoir was somewhat oppressive.

Of course, she couldn’t be blamed. Anyone whose home was attacked wouldn't look kindly upon those people.

Not long after, the Boss Gardevoir that had appeared earlier returned, each with their respective spoils.

“Gardevoir, Gardevoir. (Two got away, but their Pokémon were caught.)”

A slightly smaller Gardevoir angrily punched the air, upset that she had let the enemies escape.

“Gardevoir, Gardevoir. (Leave them here for me to watch; you all go check on your little sister.)”

The largest Boss Gardevoir nodded, signaling them to throw all the captured poachers here.

She would wait here for the Alliance to send someone to take these guys. Now, the most important thing was their youngest sister.

The other Gardevoir nodded and used Teleport to leave the area.

Upon teleporting to a giant tree in the center of the forest, the smallest Boss Gardevoir looked at her other sisters with curiosity and asked, “Gardevoir, Gardevoir? (Speaking of which, is little sister going to lay an egg?)”

The term 'lay an egg' was very distant to them. They were all picked up by the Clan Leader from various places, and not a single one was male.

It was only their youngest sister who had been tricked by that scoundrel boy back then. After all this time, he still hadn't brought her back to visit.

The one time she did return, it was while being chased by poachers.

“Gardevoir, gardevoir! (I told you that scoundrel boy wasn’t reliable, but you all didn’t believe me!)”

One Boss Gardevoir with particularly sharp eyes complained to her sisters.

She had felt he was unreliable from the start, but they all said to let her go out and experience things.

“Gardevoir, Gardevoir. (But little sister is already a Champion, and you’re still stuck at Elite Level.)”

It was unclear which Gardevoir said it, making the other Gardevoir smile as they looked at the sharp-eyed Gardevoir.

The sharp-eyed Gardevoir’s face flushed red, but she didn’t know how to refute it, as the fact that she had been stuck at Elite Level for a long time was undeniable.

“Chansey! (She laid them! She laid two eggs!)”

A Chansey walked out from the center of the giant tree, delivering the good news to the Gardevoir before her.

“Chansey, Chansey! (It’s just that one of the eggs is a bit strange.)”

Speaking of this egg, Chansey couldn't help but scratch her head. She had seen many Pokémon eggs, but she had truly never seen such a strange one.

“Gardevoir? (How strange?)”

“Chansey. (I don’t know how to explain it. You all come in and see for yourselves.)”

Chansey truly found it difficult to describe how strange it was; it was something that needed to be seen to be understood.

After speaking, Chansey turned and walked back into the center of the giant tree, waving her hand to signal them to follow.

The Gardevoir exchanged glances, then playfully pushed each other as they walked inside.

The space inside the giant tree was very wide, with soft light shining on a grass bed.

On the grass bed lay a normal-sized Gardevoir, beautiful like a painting. She held two Pokémon eggs, one large and one small, in her arms.

Some Kirlia and Ralts were sitting or lying nearby, watching the two Pokémon eggs.

“Gardevoir? (Are these our eggs? Are they that big?)”

The smallest Boss Gardevoir covered her mouth, looking at the Pokémon egg in disbelief, gesturing with her hand.

Such a large egg! No wonder the Clan Leader said one had to become a Boss to lay an egg. It was even bigger than her own small belly. If it were her, it would definitely hurt terribly.

She felt a pang of worry for her sister. She definitely needed to give her a good supplement in the next few days.

Just as the smallest Boss Gardevoir was lost in thought, a small pink hand struck her head.

“Chansey! (Although I don’t know what you’re thinking, the smaller one is the normal one.)”

Chansey saw her astonished expression and knew she had misunderstood, so she didn’t hesitate to give her a tap.

The smaller one, white with green patterns, was about the size of a Ralts.

The larger egg was mostly pure white, with blue patterns at the bottom forming the shape of an eye.

Its size was already almost as big as a typical Kirlia.

“Gardevoir? (These are our eggs, but why aren’t they the same size?)”

“Chansey. (I’m not sure either. The large one is different from all the others. If I hadn’t seen it come out myself, I’d doubt if it was one.)”

Chansey also looked like she was questioning reality, as she had never seen an egg like that before.

“Gardevoir. (Sisters have arrived! Come quickly and see my children.)”

The Gardevoir lying on the bed saw that all her sisters had arrived and happily invited them over to see her children.
