Chapter 11 The First Big Exam
They sat inside the store.
Song Yao couldn't help feeling depressed as she watched Xu Qingzhou slurping noodles. She was now absolutely certain that this guy was trying to trick her and wanted her to treat him.
Although it's only a few dozen dollars,
"Little brother and little sister, this is your pot-cake."
The boss brought over this plate of freshly fried pot cakes.
"Thank you, boss." Xu Qingzhou thanked him. The boss was very considerate and cut the pot cake into pieces.
Seeing that the boss had already started to pack up the stalls, Xu Qingzhou was surprised, "Closing up so early?"
"Business is not good. We are going to close down." The boss sighed.
Xu Qingzhou realized that this was in 14, when the internet celebrity economy had not yet taken off. In the past, a store like this that had been open for decades would basically have a queue of more than ten meters long.
"Maybe my luck will turn around after a while." As he said that, he picked up a piece of pot cake for Song Yao and picked up another piece for himself to soak.
"Thank you for your good words." The boss replied with a smile.
Song Yao moved her mouth, wanting to say that she could do it herself. They had only recently become familiar with each other and were not that intimate yet. However, she felt that saying so would make her seem too deliberate.
The two of them were slurping noodles.
Song Yao doesn't have any idol baggage, and Xu Qingzhou is even less so, he even drank half a bowl of soup.
"It's comfortable." Xu Qingzhou leaned lazily in the chair, waiting for Song Yao to finish eating.
The girl was very beautiful, with a fair and rosy face. From time to time she would use her hands to push the hair away from her eyes, which was in sharp contrast to her usual cold demeanor.
"If you have something urgent to do, you can leave first." Song Yao felt a little scared when Xu Qingzhou stared at her nakedly.
Xu Qingzhou was very frank, "I want to leave too, but after all, you are the one who paid, and I feel embarrassed to let you sit here and eat alone."
Song Yao ignored him, finished a few bites, and went to pay. She wondered why she hadn't noticed before that this guy was so shameless.
It was already late at night. The street lamps on both sides of the path emitted an orange-yellow light. A cool breeze was blowing and the shadows of the trees were swaying. On the road, a young couple was walking leisurely, and their shadows overlapped from time to time under the light.
"Is there something on my face?" Xu Qingzhou suddenly asked. The girl had been secretly staring at him.
"?" Song Yao looked up blankly.
"Then why do you keep looking at me?"
"Who looked at you?" Song Yao retorted, feeling a little guilty, and turned away, "I was thinking about the math problem just now."
"Don't be curious about a boy."
"why."
"Being curious about a boy is the beginning of liking him."
Song Yao just looked at him, and her meaning was very clear: Hehe.
"."
Xu Qingzhou looked at Song Yao, who had a stern face and looked like he was about to beat someone up, and then he slipped away.
After walking for a while, I was still wondering why I felt like I was going to be beaten.
I heard that she knows Sanda or something, but I don't know if it's true.
On the weekend, after returning home and having dinner, Xu Qingzhou went to the library again, and Song Yao still sat in her previous seat.
The two didn't communicate much. Xu Qingzhou read a book while Song Yao reviewed on her own.
Two days passed in a flash, and on Tuesday, Xu Qingzhou's first major exam since his rebirth arrived.
Xu Qingzhou and Guo Ziyang were assigned to examination room 2. The examination order was the same as the college entrance examination: Chinese, mathematics, comprehensive science, and English.
In the past, Xu Qingzhou’s biggest headache was Chinese. He would produce a lot of dandruff when writing essays. But now, it is easy for him.
After all, the essay is nothing more than a test of critical thinking ability. As long as the logic is clear, the rules are clear, and the wording is accurate, there will basically be no problem.
There's really not much to say about Chinese. As long as you get the general direction of the reading questions right, you can basically get some points. But it's different for math. There's a lot of wailing after the test.
The exam was ranked according to grades. Most of the people in exam room 2 were from Xu Qingzhou's class. As soon as the exam was over, some people started to check their answers. "Zuo Xu, what did you choose for multiple-choice question 12?"
"vs"
"Shit, I chose C at first, but when I saw that the two previous ones were C, I didn't dare to choose it." A classmate wailed in pain.
"Actually, I'm not sure about this question, and maybe my answer is wrong." The boy with glasses said modestly.
"Elbow, how do you think the difficulty is?" Guo Ziyang came over, looking completely depressed. He had no idea how to start with two of the multiple-choice questions alone.
Seeing him like this, Xu Qingzhou swallowed the word "simple" and said, "This set of questions is indeed more difficult than usual. I don't think the college entrance examination will be this difficult."
After hearing what Xu Qingzhou said, Guo Ziyang felt much better, and the two of them walked towards the classroom.
1The examination room is right next door. It is the classroom of Xu Qingzhou's class. There are only one or two students from other classes. After the test, most people will go back to the corridor outside the classroom to get their books and prepare to review for the next subject.
"I'm miserable. I definitely didn't do well on the test this time."
"You said the same thing last time, and you got 140."
When Xu Qingzhou and Guo Ziyang entered, the class was very lively.
Zhang Yuquan was the focus, surrounded by five or six people, discussing the math problem just now.
Seeing Xu Qingzhou coming in, he raised his voice a little, "Question 1 is very complicated. It took me 8 minutes to solve it. Question 2, when a=, find the monotonic interval of f(x). This is not difficult. As long as you know how to take the derivative, you can solve it. But Question ."
"I used the step-by-step adjustment method, and I didn't expect I would get it right." Someone sighed.
Xu Qingzhou ignored Zhang Yuquan's provocation, said something to Guo Ziyang, and went to the corridor to wait for him.
The ginkgo trees were swaying in the wind. Under the trees, students who had just finished their exams gathered in groups of three or four. Students from other grades were in class and the sound of reading aloud could be heard.
Zhang Yuxin and a girl came up with notebooks and pencil cases. When they saw Xu Qingzhou at the stairs, they were surprised at first, then they turned their eyes away arrogantly and walked towards the classroom with their companions.
Xu Qingzhou shook his head and leaned against the wall, feeling the end of his high school life.
Song Yao walked out of the classroom with a book in her arms and waited for Ding Jiahui in the corridor. A breeze blew, lifting a few strands of hair on her forehead.
Xu Qingzhou nodded and greeted Song Yao.
Song Yao also nodded slightly at Xu Qingzhou as a response.
Her eyes were bright, clear and crystal. Their gazes met in the air, and Xu Qingzhou couldn't help but take another look.
Mm, very beautiful.
The next morning we had science exam.
After the exam, Xu Qingzhou became quite lively, as everyone came to check their answers to the physics questions. He answered them one by one with a smile.
In the afternoon, I finished the English test.
The sound of tables being moved could be heard around the third grade classroom.
"Song Yao, let me help you move." Zhang Yuquan was ranked first in the grade and sat in front of Song Yao during the exam. As soon as the exam was over, he volunteered.
"No, thank you." Song Yao shook her head.
"Okay, then call me when you need help." After being rejected, Zhang Yuquan retreated angrily and went to find his own table.
Xu Qingzhou moved quickly and moved all the tables and benches back. According to the weekly routine, he and Guo Ziyang moved to the left window. With an extra window, they could enjoy the scenery while daydreaming.
He was about to move the books when he saw Song Yao standing at the door. Ding Jiahui hadn't come yet, so he asked, "Do you need help?"
At least I had a bowl of noodles.
Song Yao hesitated for a moment, but nodded and pointed to the two tables at the stairs. "This is for Jiahui and me."
"Okay." Xu Qingzhou nodded, moved the bookcase back to his seat, and patted Guo Ziyang who was tidying up the desks, "Fatty, get to work, help Song Yao and the others move the desks."
"Oh, okay." Guo Ziyang nodded and muttered in his heart, wondering when did Elbow become so proactive.
The two of them quickly helped Song Yao and Ding Jiahui move their things back to the classroom.
