Chapter 58: Make-up classes

After the gathering, Lilith and Mil had lunch together at the restaurant.

Inside the dimly lit room, candles flickered, creating a unique ambiance…

Mil poked at the pan-fried cod on his plate with a silver fork, seemingly without much appetite.

Lilith cut a piece of steak, picked it up with her slender fingers, and seductively brought it to Mil's mouth:

“I heard there’s a little brat who wants to confess to your sister?”

“Hmm, just a kid. He’s apparently the second prince of the Saint Dragon Kingdom?”

Saying that, Mil ungraciously used his dinner knife to push away the beef she offered.

Lilith sneered, tucking a stray brown hair behind her ear.

Her fingertips, encased in silk gloves, lightly tapped the red wine glass, and with a hint of schadenfreude in her eyes, she mocked:

“The Dragon Race has always been a powerful existence. Are you really that bold to stir up trouble?”

“Heh, powerful? Compared to the Abyss? You were there when I brutally killed the elite werewolf that day. However… I’m quite interested in his older sister.”

In the game’s alternate timeline, the Dragon Race also had a fallen one.

It’s a pity that the Blade of Blasphemy was purified by the Holy Sword and can only be re-forged once Mil retrieves the chaos holy stone.

Hearing this, Lilith frowned in confusion, pondered for a moment, and only spoke when she confirmed she hadn't misremembered:

“Fafner only has one older brother.”

“Then it’s his younger sister.”

“He doesn’t have a younger sister.”

“Then she hasn’t been born yet.”

Lilith: ?

Looking at Mil’s confident and resolute gaze, Lilith shook her head helplessly and sighed:

“Alas… it seems you know nothing about the situation in the Saint Dragon Kingdom?”

“No one understands the Dragon Kingdom better than I do.”

Mil confidently raised his stemmed glass and elegantly sniffed the wine’s aroma. Lilith smiled faintly:

“There will be a celebration banquet at my house tonight. Remember to come.”

“You need to help me catch up on the classes today…”

“Alright, then stay at my house tonight, and I’ll help you catch up properly…”

Looking at Lilith’s eerie gaze, Mil grew increasingly suspicious of her identity…

But Lilith’s grandfather, the strongest White Magic user and chief Exorcist, Elibol, has statues of him everywhere in the church.

And his martyrdom was only two years ago.

If Lilith, and her mother, were truly Succubus Daughters…

This would be equivalent to a righteous Sword Venerable, who is irreconcilable with the Demonic Sect in a cultivation world, marrying the Sect Master of the Demonic Sect’s Joyful Union Sect as his daughter-in-law.

They would have given birth to a Demon God's Child, and the family would have lived under the same roof for at least seventeen years.

Moreover, today, Lilith had just undergone a magic attribute test. If she were a Succubus Daughter, how could she not have dark attribute magic power?

Deeply puzzled by this, Mil pondered for a moment and then asked:

“Is it convenient to stay at your house? Is that important person not training your magic nerves tonight?”

“Hmm? So you care that much? I was just joking this morning… A friend of mine asked me to say that to you on purpose, to test your reaction.”

Hearing this, Mil trembled all over, instantly feeling a chill down his spine…

He took a deep breath, pretending to be calm:

“Oh? What a coincidence… I was just bluffing too. Where would I get some little fairy? I just heard some important person mention it and borrowed it to brag.”

He said this, but Mil knew in his heart that in this chain of logic, he had already fallen behind.

If he stayed at her house tonight, and the Succubus Daughter Miley was not being trained, his suspicion would be very high.

But refusing to stay at her house would also arouse suspicion…

Lilith raised her eyebrows, lifted her wine glass, and took a small sip:

“Is that so? The important person you mentioned, wouldn’t it be the Demon God's Child?”

“Miss Lilith is indeed clever. Since you’ve invited me, then tonight, let me help you catch up properly?”

“Alright!”

Lilith still smiled very charmingly, but her hands were already starting to sweat—

If Mil wasn’t the Demon God's Child, then tonight she would have to endure nerve stimulation while tutoring Mil.

At night…

And Mil made a bold decision…

He opened the succubus book in advance and gave it, along with a magic tool that had recorded his voice, to Alice, letting her operate it at home.

Although Alice was only a magic apprentice, synchronizing magic nerves wasn’t very difficult, and she was relatively reliable since she was paid for her services.

Inside Paradiso Mansion, it was as lively as when Lilith first woke up. The banquet hall was filled with the scent of hyacinths, and the crystal chandeliers cast the deep blue of Lilith’s dress into a vast, star-sea color.

After the banquet, Lilith took Mil back to her room.

This was Mil’s second time here. The last time he came with a woodworking box, and the dent the hammer made on the floor was still there…

“Miss Lilith, I’m counting on you.”

“Sit down!”

But after sitting down, he had only been reading for a few minutes when Mil’s eyelids felt as heavy as lead…

Lilith curved her lips into a smile and softly enticed him in his ear:

“Are you sleepy? If you’re sleepy, rest for a while.”

“Not sleepy, continue…”

For Mil, as long as he was present and Alice started synchronizing the magic nerves on the other side, he could successfully conceal his identity.

But Mil still wanted to confirm whether Lilith was truly Miley…

Lilith smiled and picked up the pen, deliberately making her voice very soft and gentle, and began to read the most difficult and obscure knowledge.

But just a few sentences in, the voice of the Demon God's Child came from the obsidian earring…

She skillfully controlled the magic tools in the cabinet, making a simple response.

Then, she felt as if she had been electrocuted, trembling uncontrollably.

This sensation was more intense than any previous time.

“Miss Lilith, why is your face so red?”

“Perhaps I drank too much wine just now. It’s fine, let’s continue…”

Moonlight streamed through the arched window, casting light spots on her collarbone. Whenever the succubus book vibrated, she would subtly adjust her posture.

Mil nodded furiously, trying to pinch his thigh to stay awake.

Lilith, meanwhile, was drenched in sweat, trying to control herself from crying out, but felt like she was on the verge of dehydration…

“Hiss… The, the third black magic crown war, the founder of elemental transmutation, ha… hiss… Henry VI, he…”

She suddenly bit her lower lip, her legs beneath the velvet skirt twisted tightly, and her knee came up, hitting the table…

“Thump!”

“Sorry, I…”

She cautiously glanced at Mil. Seeing that he didn’t seem to notice, she breathed a sigh of relief.

“Mm… mm…”

Mil responded incoherently, his consciousness mostly offline.

Finally, after Mil collapsed onto the desk, Lilith leaned against the wall and went to the bathroom.

Leaning back in the large bathtub, Lilith felt that this time she had truly lost out; she shouldn’t have agreed so stubbornly.

But soon, a strange sound came from the obsidian in her ear, as if someone was desperately calling from behind a wall…

“Miss Alice, Prince Fafner has been waiting outside for a long time!”

Then, she heard the Demon God's Child say:

“I have other matters to attend to. That’s all for today.”

Although the sound transmitted by the succubus book was inherently somewhat muffled, Lilith was sure she hadn't misheard. She sat up abruptly from the bathtub, feeling…

It was a bit too absurd.
