Chapter 33: Yang No's House

Mr. Su Rui patted the girl's back exasperatedly, then picked Hayasaka Ai out of his arms:

"Alright, since Kaguya has already called us, let's get up quickly."

"Mm, oh, and Mr. Su Rui, if you ever need a wake-up service in the future, you can always tell me~"

Hayasaka Ai, already dressed, sat on the edge of the bed and gave Mr. Su Rui a foxy smile, then quickly opened the bedroom door and slipped away.

Mr. Su Rui watched the girl's retreating figure, a slight curve on his lips, then continued to get dressed.

After a simple breakfast, he saw Kaguya Shinomiya and Hayasaka Ai off, admonishing them:

"Remember to pay a little attention to whether anyone at school is still trying to investigate the previous incident."

"I understand, Mr. Su Rui."

Hayasaka Ai nodded, while Kaguya Shinomiya stepped forward to straighten Mr. Su Rui's clothes, giving him a reassuring look.

After the two girls left, Kagarino Kirieda's voice sounded from behind Mr. Su Rui:

"If anyone wants to investigate, you can tell me directly. I can help clear their memories."

"You have that ability?" Mr. Su Rui turned his head, a little curious.

Kagarino Kirieda proudly lifted her chin: "Of course. Not only that, I can also hypnotize and alter common sense. Whatever you wish for, I can do it. How about it?"

Saying this, Kagarino Kirieda leaned forward and nestled into Mr. Su Rui's embrace, rubbing her cheek against his chest, her tone full of affection:

"As long as you ask, I can help you with anything~"

"I know, but I don't need that kind of thing, and there's no rush either."

Mr. Su Rui understood Kagarino Kirieda's overture. He lowered his head and wrapped his arm around the girl's waist. He naturally understood the girl's feelings; she had expressed her affection so clearly that he felt it would be a bit unkind to keep her waiting.

"I have something to do today that might involve vengeful spirits. Do you want to come with me?"

"Of course, no problem."

Kagarino Kirieda nodded, tightly hugging Mr. Su Rui's waist, burying her face in his embrace, and remained motionless for a long moment.

"Alright, we should get going."

Mr. Su Rui gently patted Kagarino Kirieda's head, and as she looked up, he noticed something unusual:

"Your eyes, the color seems to have changed a bit?"

"Has it?"

Kagarino Kirieda froze for a moment, took out the phone Mr. Su Rui had prepared for her, and shined it on her eyes.

Her eyes had indeed changed; the red in her pupils now had a hint of gold.

Kagarino Kirieda immediately understood. This was the effect of Mr. Su Rui's blood. It probably wouldn't be long before she was transformed into his familiar by his blood, right?

By then, the color of her eyes would probably turn completely gold…

Kagarino Kirieda couldn't help but smile silently, but she nestled in Mr. Su Rui's arms and didn't directly tell him the result, instead saying:

"My eyes have changed a bit, but it's fine. Wait a little longer, and there might be a surprise for you."

"So mysterious."

Mr. Su Rui didn't mind Kagarino Kirieda's teasing. He just tightened his arm around the girl's waist and led her to the window:

"Don't move around. We need to go."

As he spoke, golden wings unfurled from his back, carrying Mr. Su Rui and Kagarino Kirieda in his arms into the air, accelerating to near-supersonic speed almost instantly, ascending vertically.

Mr. Su Rui didn't immediately break the sound barrier, instead paying attention to Kagarino Kirieda's state to prevent her from being overwhelmed by the speed.

Fortunately, Kagarino Kirieda merely nestled in Mr. Su Rui's embrace, tightly hugging his waist. Although he felt the girl's body trembling slightly, overall, there should be no problem.

Mr. Su Rui also didn't accelerate further, maintaining a subsonic flight speed as he flew towards Chiba Prefecture.

After about ten minutes, Mr. Su Rui, having reached his destination, began to descend vertically. When he arrived at the balcony of a high-end apartment, he lightly landed, still holding Kagarino Kirieda.

Then, casually setting down Kagarino Kirieda, who was a bit dizzy from the high-speed movement, Mr. Su Rui walked into the living room, just as he met Yukinoshita Haruno's gaze as she emerged from the restroom.

"How did you know my residence?"

Yukinoshita Haruno's tone was a bit surprised, clearly not expecting Mr. Su Rui to find this place. This was just one of her many residences where she usually rested. Being able to find it so precisely, did it mean...

Yukinoshita Haruno's eyes, instead of showing panic or resistance, flashed with a hint of secret delight. This meant that Mr. Su Rui cared about her, right?

"You still have remnants of my spiritual energy on you, which means I can locate you."

Mr. Su Rui said casually, sitting on the sofa: "So, where are we going? Or do you want to tell me about it here first?"

"Of course, it's fine here. Actually, I've run into some trouble... Should I prepare breakfast for you first?"

"You should prepare your own breakfast first. Mr. Su Rui and I have already eaten."

Kagarino Kirieda's voice came from the direction of the balcony at this moment, and Yukinoshita Haruno was instantly surprised to see the white-haired, twin-tailed girl walk into the living room from the balcony, her tone a little astonished:

"You are...?"

"I am Kagarino Kirieda, Mr. Su Rui's familiar."

The proud girl lifted her chin, then, in front of Yukinoshita Haruno, she pounced into Mr. Su Rui's embrace, and glanced at the dumbfounded Yukinoshita Haruno:

"Shouldn't you go take care of your own business first? Don't disturb Mr. Su Rui and me here."

"I'm not in a hurry. You can go take care of yourself first."

Mr. Su Rui pressed down on Kagarino Kirieda's head, who had suddenly acted this way for some unknown reason, rubbing the girl's hair, then looked at Yukinoshita Haruno.

Yukinoshita Haruno, having recovered from her surprise, regained her composed demeanor and smiled, nodding at Mr. Su Rui and Kagarino Kirieda:

"I understand. Please wait a moment, both of you. I'll be back very soon... in a little while."

Because of Kagarino Kirieda's words, Yukinoshita Haruno hesitated in her phrasing. "Very soon" worried her that she might offend this "familiar" of Mr. Su Rui, while "in a little while" worried her that it might displease Mr. Su Rui.

How complicated, she sighed nervously in her heart, and Yukinoshita Haruno returned to her bedroom.

After only Mr. Su Rui and Kagarino Kirieda were left in the living room, the girl in his arms no longer concealed herself, staring intently at Mr. Su Rui with her red eyes that now had a hint of gold, her voice filled with anticipation:

"Mr. Su Rui, your blood, give me another drop~"

After carefully assessing Kagarino Kirieda's condition, Mr. Su Rui didn't ask any more questions this time, simply flicking a drop of fresh blood into the girl's mouth.

This bit of blood was insignificant to him, but to Kagarino Kirieda, its effect was profound.
