Chapter 1129: Eating

“No?” Fa Xiu asked, puzzled.

If not, why would he have issued such precise orders to divide his forces into six fleets, each with 970,000 warships?

It didn’t make sense!

Had his program malfunctioned?

“Just distribute them evenly; there’s no need to report back to me.”

“Have each fleet carry a Civilization’s fleet and act dispersed. Not only must you acquire enough Metal resources, but you must also collect Silk Civilization information. Remember, do not look at those files.”

After Fa Xiu finished speaking, he had a feeling he had overlooked something, but he couldn’t recall what it was.

He searched his stored content, but found nothing.

“It must be a minor software glitch.”

Soon after, the fleet was split into six fleets, each with 950,000 warships, heading towards six different Stellar Systems.

Fa Xiu led one himself, targeting the Shuiyue Stellar System, which was not far from the Qian Feiniao Star System.

The Shuiyue Stellar System had two Stars, one named Jinghua A and the other Shuiyue A, one large and one small, one red and one blue.

This was a relatively important strategic location.

As long as this place was occupied, the Shuiyue Star could be used as a springboard to probe the Qian Feiniao Star System.

The other five Stellar Systems Fa Xiu designated were also not far from the Qian Feiniao Star System; it could be said that they surrounded the Qian Feiniao Star System.

When they arrived at the Shuiyue Stellar System, to Fa Xiu’s surprise, they encountered no resistance whatsoever.

While the resistance in the previously attacked Stellar Systems was negligible, there were at least tens of thousands of warships.

This time, there was nothing.

He even thought it was a trick.

Yet, even when they flew next to the Star City, they didn't encounter any human warships.

Upon inspecting the Star City, it was already deserted.

The entire city was empty.

“It seems they knew they couldn’t stop us here and retreated early,” Fa Xiu mused.

He considered this natural; according to his intelligence, the entire Orion Nebula only had about 1 million human warships.

His combined fleet, however, exceeded 10 million.

The disparity in combat power was immense.

It was impossible for humans to not react at all.

He estimated that the other Stellar Systems were in the same situation, leaving only the Qian Feiniao Star System.

“Send a message to the other fleets to prepare. Once I’ve finished here, we will launch an attack on the Qian Feiniao Star System.”

Fa Xiu still wanted to have a good meal.

He plunged headfirst into a gas giant planet, then headed towards its core.

Generally speaking, gas giant planets are composed of hydrogen and helium, but their cores usually consist of heavy materials absorbed during the early stages of planetary formation—metals or rocks.

Because gas giants are very large and their outer shells are soft and easy to penetrate, Fa Xiu found the “taste” of gas giants better than rocky planets.

Using his massive body, he directly settled onto the gas planet’s core, then used his excavator-like maw to continuously excavate material from the core’s surface and feed it into his body.

He extracted useful Metal elements, completing the production from raw materials to components on the production lines within his body, then expanded them to various parts of his body.

Sometimes, he would also extract some rock elements, such as silicon, to form structures like crystal circuits.

This was the unique way the Metal Civilization fed itself.

The “eating” process was very fast.

In just a few months, an entire core was consumed.

The entire gas giant planet did not instantly collapse; instead, more light elements gathered in the core, filling the void.
