Only the eternal annihilation of the primordial spirit and true spirit could be considered death.
They did not care about the pain of mortals losing everything in their lives, nor did they know how painful the separation of those ordinary people was, so they did not know what was wrong with themselves.
They even thought that Chu Hao was making a fuss over a minor issue, being unreasonable. It was just the lives of some mortals, why bother so much?

The Tathagata Buddha's face was gloomy, and he said in a cold voice:
"So what exactly do you want? As for those dead mortals, I will naturally order people to transcend them and send them to the Land of Ultimate Bliss to enjoy a thousand years of bliss.
In addition, when you invaded your Southern Jambudvipa territory, it was because my Western Heaven was eager to eliminate demons. I am willing to compensate your Heavenly Court with five million Buddha soldiers and armor. Are you satisfied now?"
Although the Tathagata Buddha was compensating, he spoke as if he were bestowing a favor.
The Guanyin next to him stood up and frowned, "My Buddha, let each person be responsible for their own actions. I killed the mortals, and now I am burdened with karma, which is enough to atone for my sins. Why do we need to compensate with so many Buddha soldiers and armor?"
It wasn't just Guanyin Bodhisattva who felt it wasn't worth it.
Many Bodhisattvas and Arhats present frowned, feeling that the Tathagata Buddha was being too tolerant.
The lives of those few mortals had already caused Guanyin Bodhisattva to bear so much karma.

Wasn't the biggest mistake just invading Southern Jambudvipa? Paying some Buddha soldiers would be enough, why add armor?
Most Bodhisattvas and Arhats were in the middle level of Western Heaven and did not understand the thoughts of the higher-ups.
What the higher-ups of Western Heaven cared about was stability and no mistakes, so that the Journey to the West could continue smoothly. This was the only thing Western Heaven cared about.

"Bodhisattva Skanda ambushed my wife when she was advancing, and has already been killed by me. His true spirit has been annihilated, and his corpse is gone."
