Chapter 6: Do you know what a local tyrant is?

The two of them enjoyed the beautiful scenery and conversed happily.

However, their tranquility was broken when someone intruded.

“Young Master, Muyue has something important today. Please come back another day!” someone tried to stop him.

The man looked up and saw the two of them in the pavilion.

He immediately sneered, “You said she had something important, but it’s just to accompany this pretty boy?”

“Young Master, do not speak nonsense!”

The guard tried to persuade him, knowing that it was Lu Changsheng, and a sense of solemnity arose in his heart.

The newcomer was a young man, around twenty years old, with an ordinary appearance, a burly build, and an arrogant look in his eyes, showing extreme disdain for these matters.

“I’m doing this for your own good, afraid that your courtesan will be tricked by a pretty boy. Don’t you know that such people are the best at sweet talk?”

“Young Master, please retreat. This person is not to be trifled with!”

The guard spoke earnestly, also for his own good, clearly knowing who Lu Changsheng, sitting there, was.

The young man laughed, “I am Shi Feng, a Personal Disciple of Xuantian Sect. He’s just a pretty boy, what’s there to be afraid of!”

“He…”

Before he could finish, Shi Feng ignored the obstruction and continued forward.

Xuantian Sect is one of the three major Sects in Cang Province, its status no less than Cangyun Sect, and even here, he felt no fear.

Lu Changsheng glanced at him but remained unmoved, drinking his wine leisurely.

Su Muyue was somewhat surprised; it was normal for young men to be impulsive and hot-blooded.

But he had been spoken of in such a way, yet showed no reaction, which was truly overly calm.

Su Muyue said, “He speaks of you like that, and you’re not angry?”

Lu Changsheng said, “Everyone has jealousy. It’s a fact that I’m handsomer than him, so why be angry? You can’t stop people from being jealous, can you!”

Su Muyue was stunned.

At this moment, Shi Feng had already arrived, standing before the table. He glanced at Su Muyue, his eyes filled with unconcealed admiration.

“Young Master, I am not free today. Young Master Lu was here first, so I cannot entertain you!”

Su Muyue spoke politely.

Shi Feng, however, said, “Then let him leave. If he doesn’t, I’ll throw him out!”

Under his gaze, Su Muyue looked at him; this person was truly domineering.

“Young man, don’t be too arrogant. It’s not good for you!”

Lu Changsheng spoke in an old-fashioned tone, not caring about the person in front of him from beginning to end.

Bang!

Shi Feng slammed his hand heavily on the table, spilling wine everywhere. His aura surged, revealing a cultivation of sixth-level Spirit Gathering.

Su Muyue was not worried, but rather curious how Lu Changsheng would respond.

After all, she had known him for so long and had never seen him make a move.

Lu Changsheng said, “Are you slamming the table to scare me?”

“What’s slamming the table!” Shi Feng sneered, a playful glint in his eyes. “What if I just overturn it?”

“You try?”

With that, Shi Feng raised his hand and directly overturned the table.

The sound of dishes shattering rang out one after another.

Shi Feng’s eyes showed triumph, and he looked at him provocatively, saying, “I know you are Lu Changsheng, but what can you do?”

Lu Changsheng also stood up at this moment, but without haste.

“You know me?”

“So?”

“Then do you know what a local bully is?”

“Hmm?”

Shi Feng raised an eyebrow, seemingly not understanding his meaning, saying, “What, you want your Senior Brother to stand up for you?”

“To deal with a small fry like you, why bother with my Senior Brother making a move!”

“Heh!”

Shi Feng sneered, just about to say something more, when several long rainbows streaked across the sky.

Several figures were seen flying on swords.

“Senior Brother Changsheng!”

Several figures bowed towards Lu Changsheng.

They were much older than Lu Changsheng, yet they were only Inner Sect Disciples, still respectfully calling him Senior Brother!

Seeing this, Shi Feng looked at Su Muyue, seemingly puzzled.

Su Muyue also looked on curiously, only to see Lu Changsheng suddenly raise his hand and point at Shi Feng.

“He overturned the table to threaten me, and he looks down on our Cangyun Sect!”

“What?!”

As his words fell, everyone’s expressions darkened.

Shi Feng frowned, feeling their gazes, but still calmly said, “So? Do you dare to hit me?”

Slap!

As his words fell, a young man stepped forward and slapped him across the Face.

A crisp slap echoed, and Shi Feng was stunned. His Face quickly swelled, showing distinct red finger marks.

“I am a Personal Disciple of Xuantian Sect, you…”

Bang!

Just as he was about to speak, the table he had overturned was somehow lifted back up and smashed onto him, making a loud sound.

Immediately after, several people surrounded him, each of them, who had been gentle and calm, now becoming fierce and menacing.

Shi Feng screamed, immediately trying to circulate his spiritual power to resist, but he was pinned firmly to the ground.

Only then did he realize that these people all had cultivation levels of sixth or seventh-level Spirit Gathering.

A group of people ganging up on him, he was no match at all.

The people who came with him also suffered a beating.

Lu Changsheng, however, leisurely walked to the side and quietly watched them get beaten, a smile plastered on his Face.

No one knew the situation here better than he did.

Cangyun City is located at the foot of Cangyun Sect. Every month, an Elder leads Disciples to guard the city, constantly monitoring the movements here.

When Shi Feng overturned the table, the patrolling Elder already knew.

Logically, they wouldn’t interfere in such minor skirmishes, but it was different when it concerned Lu Changsheng.

Who didn’t know that he was Zhou Qingyu’s Junior Brother? If they didn’t give Lu Changsheng Face, they had to give Zhou Qingyu Face.

Moreover, although Lu Changsheng usually didn’t do anything serious, he was a good person.

He also took good care of them. If they had anything they didn’t understand, they would ask their Senior Brother, and he would help them solve it.

However, Shi Feng, relying on his identity, originally intended to provoke Lu Changsheng. Even if the two of them fought, as long as no one died, it wouldn’t be a big problem.

But the other party didn’t play by the rules and called people to gang up on him.

They put the label of looking down on Cangyun Sect on him, and a group of people gave him a good beating.

“Lu Changsheng, you…”

Shi Feng roared.

Lu Changsheng said, “Shut his mouth and keep hitting him! It’s time to show off the prestige of our Cangyun Sect!”

The few people complied.

Su Muyue, on the side, was lost in thought. She had been curious how he would resolve it.

But she never would have imagined such an outcome.

Being provoked, showing no reaction, as if he had no spirit, and also not playing by the rules, calling people to gang up.

Is this the prestige of Cangyun Sect?

Of course, Lu Changsheng didn’t care about the beating, as long as no one died.

Instead, his gaze inadvertently swept into the distance.

When Shi Feng arrived here, Lu Changsheng habitually used his Divine Thought to probe the surrounding environment and found that someone was secretly watching here.

And it was not just one person, but all Core Formation experts.

According to Cangyun’s regulations, Core Formation cultivators entering Cangyun Sect’s territory needed to report, otherwise they would be considered enemies.

Cangyun Sect would then take action, regardless of life or death.

During this time, no one had ever reported.

Thinking of this, Lu Changsheng withdrew his gaze. Seeing that the beating was almost done, he had them thrown out.

He also bid farewell to Su Muyue and left the place.

However, after he left, he quietly disappeared, and in an instant, he had already arrived near the hidden Core Formation experts!

“One fourth-level Core Formation, two third-level Core Formation. What are they trying to do?”

Lu Changsheng watched from afar, quietly observing everything.

He would not allow anyone to be detrimental to the Sect; he had deep feelings for the Sect.

This cultivation world was full of dangers. If the Sect fell, where would he settle down, and who would protect him?
