Chapter 101:26. Savage Orcs (12 chapters are missing, I will make up for it later.)
The Savage Orc Warrior Goribaz of the Blue Viper Tribe and the Savage Orc Warrior Butlika of the Bone Stick Tribe are engaging in the purest duel in the battle pit.
Goribaz suddenly had a brilliant idea: he wanted to go south and take down those cold-blooded giants. Just thinking about it made him feel so naive! He brought his men to the Bonestick Tribe's territory to discuss the matter, but Butlika insisted that they had to proceed under his leadership.
So, at the suggestion of the shamans of both tribes, the two wild orcs had a duel according to traditional rituals to resolve their differences.
The shaman, chanting incoherently, waving feathers and dancing awkwardly, with his bone charms rattling, began to perform the ritual.
The two Savage Orc warriors wore fart curtains, and their exposed green skin was smeared with a magical mixture of oil paint prepared by shamans. Due to their superstition about battle patterns and worship of Gogo and Maogo, the Savage Orcs thought of battle patterns as a kind of AT position that was invulnerable to swords and guns. In fact, battle patterns could indeed deflect enemy arrows and weapon attacks.
This is an extremely remarkable thing, proving the success of the Savage Orcs' belief in their ancient ways. These primitive Savage Orcs are more traditional, pure, barbaric, rude and superstitious, which is more reliable than drinking any invulnerable talisman water.
The two Savage Orc warriors unleashed their fists on each other's face and chest, each blow hitting them fiercely and roughly. They wanted to beat the other party down so that they could gain command of the next melee that was destined to be exhilarating.
There were fights inside the fighting pits, and outside the fighting pits. People from two tribes were fighting, and people from the same tribe were fighting too. They were just trying to have fun. The only unlucky ones were the fart spirits that got stepped on, right?
"I think you can't do it, no matter how good you are!"
Goribaz of the Blue Viper Tribe defeated Butlika of the Bonestick Tribe.
"Waaagh!"
It took five days for Dacus's team to successfully cross the Emmara Swamp under the guidance of a lizardman guide after going through untold hardships.
Daxus rode on the big guy's back and looked at the stone map for a while, then looked up at the distant sky. After confirming that the stone map was correct, he picked up the monocular telescope and looked at the sky. He vaguely saw the outline of the pyramid floating in the clouds.
"Luckily, there's nothing there. Looking at the double-headed eagle from afar, looking at Carlos up close." (Carlos, the Fate Weaver, descended here at the end of his life to sever the spiritual vein node, I think.)
"Look at that motionless cloud!" Dacus pointed to the distant sky and said, then tossed the monocular to Flanais and gave another order, "The team will rest for a while!"
The pterosaur riders have begun to divide into five groups and spread out to conduct reconnaissance near the suspended pyramid.
The team began to rest, and the Duruchi dignitaries exchanged monoculars to observe. Daquus was a little confused. Why did this spiritual vein node float in mid-air and the ground sink? Who knew?
Not long after, the pterosaur riders reported that there had been traces of greenskin activity there.
"Akkadan, are there any war pigs in the Creeping Jungle?"
Perhaps he had passed the Turing test, for Arkadan went berserk the moment he heard the word "war pig," and the ticker tape above his head began to change non-stop, with claws and fangs bared, hissing, and clicking, as he recounted his experiences in the Creeping Jungle, how he had single-handedly fought orcs for three hundred rounds on a troglodyte and escaped unscathed, how the troglodyte had ambushed forest goblin spider riders in the forest because it was hungry and had preyed on spiders, how he had fought an orc shaman and escaped unscathed, and so on. He was just about to jump up and punch Gogogo and Maogo.
Darkus's head was buzzing, and he rubbed his temple in silence. Ryan and Walter reacted and gave Chupakoko a look. The two elves and the lizard dragged the still-chattering Arkadan away.
Despite Arkadan's longwinded speech, Darkius still managed to grasp a few key points. It seemed that Lustria was populated only by traditionalist Savage Orcs and spider-riding Forest Goblins, with no trolls, giants, or Arachnari giant spiders or anything like that. The Savage Orcs who inhabited this land seemed to possess a more durable war pattern than the armored Orcs of other continents. I wondered if that was ridiculous. Of course, the heavily armored Black Orcs were not included in this analysis.
Before the team reached the bottom of the suspended pyramid, they could smell its stench, which was even more unbearable than when they were crossing the swamp.
Daxus saw the fragmented skeleton of a Triceratops, likely gnawed clean by savage orcs and used as a weapon. The ground was strewn with stinking piles of manure and strange objects resembling emerald phlegm, likely the result of falls from climbing and dragging pyramid chains. Looking at the incomprehensible graffiti and the remains of the pigsty, he really didn't want to continue imagining things.
At night, when camping, the big guy brought back two new Triceratops friends. However, one of them was clearly in poor condition, wailing non-stop as it lay dying. Three broken spears were stuck in its sides, and one of its horns was also broken off. This was clearly the work of a wild orc.
"I became the captain of the dump truck team?"
It took Druchi and the Skinks a long time to retrieve the three broken spears, treat the wounds, and apply medicinal powder. The Ancient Triceratops, carrying the Eternal Radiance Hengtian Instrument on its back, lay beside it, with the Hesiota Fiery Sun Banner planted beside it. Hopefully, under the light of the Ancient Sun God, it would heal faster.
"Looks like the team has to rest here for two days until this Triceratops recovers a bit. Alyssa?"
After treating the Triceratops's wounds, Alisa sat by the campfire, concentrating on injecting the Wind of Gur into the Spring Fruit Egg. Darkus, observing the magical light on the Spring Fruit Egg, felt as if the egg had been activated. Perhaps a magical creature would hatch tomorrow, or perhaps hundreds of years from now.
Dacus called out to Alyssa, who was silent and didn't even react. Elmir, who was sitting next to him, was carving some kind of craft with a serrated dagger. Seeing that Alyssa didn't respond, he nudged her with his elbow.
“Sir?” Alyssa came back to her senses.
"Are you interested in learning the Wind of Ji Lun? You can learn it by going south. However, I'm not sure about the level of the Life-System Spirit Lizard Priests there. Maybe there are awake Shi Lan who can help. If not, there is another place." Daxus said the second half of this sentence while looking at Baine.
"Sir, yes, thank you." Alyssa said with surprise. Ever since her soul left her body and was not torn apart, she felt that she had become stronger again. Maybe she could learn some more spells to adapt to the team.
Bainie also nodded slightly.
"Tomorrow we'll go to the suspended pyramid and sleep."
Even Darkus hadn't noticed that Chupakoko was unusually quiet tonight.
At this time, Chupakoko's eyes became extremely cold, and he was looking up at the night sky as if looking for something.
The condition is not good. If there are any mistakes about the green skin, please point them out.
