Chapter 19: 19Don’t fight anymore

Chapter 19 19. Stop fighting

Everyone knows that cooking is not about being mushy.

Bassetin raised his head, a blue aura filling his eyes. Some of it drifted out and dissipated into the air. He had spent an entire night praying to his goddess beside Dacius. How could the Lady of the Lake not cast a glance at him?

Speaking of which, Daxus truly owes a debt of gratitude to Morayg Heg, the kind and benevolent old lady whose blessing protected his soul. If it weren't for her, all sorts of powerful beings might have come knocking on his door long ago. It's like a guy wearing dungarees suddenly standing out among a group of professional basketball players, and the old lady promptly found him a jersey. Ers Haiai, the Pale Queen, governs the souls of deceased elves.

"Don't just stand there, come quickly and help untie them. We have a distinguished guest. I was careless. I should have used the entire small dining table and chairs for midnight tea. But next time I'll have experience."

The three Takaia siblings were stunned. They had been stunned since Daquus started calling those names. They never expected that they would do such a thing. It was simply unheard of.

And are there any connections between these three names? One is the underground god, one is the sky god, and one is the god of Bretonnia.

Alyssa picked up the repeating crossbow that Ryan had hung under the saddle, opened the safety and pointed it at Bassin. The two brothers hurried over to untie him and took the thing out of Bassin's mouth.

Basestin stood up, looked directly at Daquus, and asked in a female voice, "Who are you?"

Dacreus looked at Basestin sinisterly and said, "Me? I'm from the Hellblight family of Clarkaronde, Dacreus Hellblight!"

Bathestin said excitedly in a female voice: "No! You are not!"

Dacus shook his head, spread his hands, and asked, "Then I have to ask you, who am I? Hmm?"

This question confused the other party. How would he know who he was?

Bastille stared at Dacreus for a long time. The scene was a little still for a while. Crow just stood on Dacreus's shoulder armor and looked at Bastille, without any intention of making any comments.

The current Bathelstine is no longer Bathelstine. Something dirty has taken over him. He is now Lilith van der Linde, the famous "Little Tzeentch"!

I mentioned before that there are twenty-two elven deities, but that's not true. Someone used two aliases, making the total twenty-one. Another alias is the Bretonnian Lady of the Lake. This person is Lilith, the "Pure Maiden" and "Moon Goddess." She excels at conveying messages through dreams and is the patron saint of seers and prophets. The Asur pray to her for a clear future, prophecies, and foresight.

Daxus suddenly warmed up the atmosphere with his high emotional intelligence, saying, "I heard that your dancing skills are very effective. Oh, no, your divination skills are very effective. Could you take a look at these three?" He held his chin high, raised his right thumb, and pointed at the three siblings behind him, looking like he really wanted a beating.

Lilith glared at him fiercely, giving Darkus goose bumps. She was in a man's body, a big one at that. Then she looked at the three Takia siblings. This sight was so mesmerizing that it captivated her.

"I can't even predict the future of these three. What? Did you block them?"

The crow shook his head.

Seeing the prophecy about the three siblings was a strange thing. Lilith could only see prophecies and dreams, not fate. A prophecy could predict future events, and she was trying every possible way to interfere, always thinking she would deviate from the original prophecy's trajectory, but unaware that this very action actually caused the prophecy to come true. The atmosphere suddenly became idealistic. Oedipus the King? No.

However, fate was shattered by the irrational existence of Darkius. Perhaps more people's fates will be changed by his arrival, perhaps for better or worse? But even worse than now is worse. Morayg Hegge knows fate, but she can't change it. Darkius can, and that's why she protects him.

Darkus looked disappointed, shook his head, and said, "Tsk, tsk, tsk, sister, your level is not very good. Is your so-called prophecy just nonsense first, and then when everyone believes it, it will come true?"

"You! You! You!" Lilith was a little defeated. She pointed at Daquus and trembled with anger.

Dacus also realized that what he said just now was a little bit too much. He found that he was really not good at chatting with girls, so he quickly made up things to talk about.

"They always imagine you are the supreme being, but have you ever thought about their reaction after they knew you were an elven god? Would they leave you? Would they spit on you?"

"They won't be kept in the dark forever. They will eventually know the truth. What if it's detonated by someone with ulterior motives at a critical moment?"

Lilith said stubbornly, "There's always a way. I already have an idea. Besides, how did you know about this? Did she tell you?"

Darkus looked mysterious, shook his head, and said solemnly, "Yes! Fate!"

"You!" Lilith rushed over and scratched Daquus. A Duruchi noble and an elven god started to wrestle.

The crow flew away immediately, cawing hoarsely, as if mocking or scolding.

Looking at the two people fighting, the three siblings were at a loss as to what to do. They were young and inexperienced and had never seen such a scene before.

"What the hell? You crazy bitch, stop fingering my face, ah! My hair."

Daxus was careless. He didn't dodge and didn't stand a few swords away. Who would have thought that a god would be so unsportsmanlike?

Alyssa reacted and said, “Don’t stand there, go and pull it open!”

The two brothers finally reacted and quickly pulled the person away.

Lilith felt relieved when she saw Darkus's miserable appearance.

"There's no time left. See you someday. Oh, and by the way, there's a cavalry unit heading this way from the north."

"Fuck, you're such a jerk!"

The first meeting was not very friendly.

Daxus tidied up his appearance and straightened his long hair.

Bassettin's knees gave way, and he half-knelt on the ground, his eyes hollow. His body could no longer support him, and he lay on the ground, choking and sobbing, tears streaming from his eyes.

The man collapsed because what was more terrifying than death was the collapse of faith, and it happened in such a cruel way.

Jonnywa is happy because he fell into the street with his ignorance.

When the evil thing took over his body, Basestin was always conscious. Even though he couldn't understand the Elvish language, he understood it.

Dacreus gestured to the two brothers, then drew his rapier, walked over to Baslestin's side, and spoke in Bretonnian, "Without the Lady of the Lake, there would be no Bretonnia today. Perhaps this land would still be a group of tribes? Or perhaps it would be like the southern city-states, infested with greenskins and beastmen? Or perhaps it would become a territory of the Empire? When Gilles le Batol the 'Unifier' founded Bretonnia, the neighboring Empire had already been established for nearly a thousand years. He chose not to choose Sigmar, but to drink the Lady of the Lake's holy water. From that moment on, the price was set."

Dacun raised his head towards Bastille, and the two brothers understood each other. They clamped Bastille's arms on the left and right and pulled him up.

Bassin's face was covered in dirt and tears. He looked at Daquus, shook his head, and burst into tears. It was heartbreaking to see a big man crying like this. He choked and wailed, "This price! Too heavy!"

Dacus's blade cut directly into the middle of the two ribs, the hook tip pierced into the heart, and then pulled it out between the two ribs.

The two brothers let go and Bassetin fell to the ground.

"May there be no Lilith in heaven."

This chapter was very difficult to write, maybe I was just looking for trouble.

Sorry, everyone, the second chapter is posted late today.

I'll finish two more chapters tomorrow!
