Chapter 107: Draw the sword and kill

“Why are you thinking of going to the Great Qian Imperial Capital? Isn’t that woman’s territory?” Zihuan looked at Qin Chu, somewhat puzzled.

“Actually, she’s not a bad person. Since you’ve agreed not to fight her, I must also persuade her. I definitely don’t want her to come and fight you!” Qin Chu said.

Zihuan smiled, “Qin Chu, you know I’m not afraid. Her speed isn’t as good as mine. If I can’t win against her, I can just retreat.”

“There are some things I must do. Besides, she won’t harm me. I’ll be back later,” Qin Chu said to Zihuan.

Seeing that Qin Chu was determined to go to the Great Qian Imperial Capital, Zihuan did not stop him. She escorted Qin Chu beyond the three Sects’ blockade and then returned to Heavenly Fragrance Valley.

Qin Chu’s body flickered as he left the Heavenly Fragrance Valley area and headed towards the Great Qian Imperial Capital.

Upon reaching the nearest city, Qin Chu entered it, planning to find a beast-drawn carriage.

After entering the city, Qin Chu saw a beast-drawn carriage by the roadside and approached it, “Great Qian Imperial Capital.”

“Five taels of gold,” the coachman said after looking at Qin Chu.

“Okay, let’s go!” Qin Chu said. Five taels of gold was nothing; he didn’t care at all.

“Can you afford it?” the coachman with a pair of beady eyes asked.

Being looked down upon, Qin Chu knew it was because the coachman saw him wearing a coarse cloth robe and thought he had no money. This didn’t matter. Qin Chu took out a five-tael gold ingot and threw it to the coachman.

Looking at the gold ingot in his hand, the coachman’s face showed surprise, because Qin Chu really had money; he had misjudged him.

As Qin Chu was about to get on the beast-drawn carriage, two young men appeared. One of them threw a ten-tael gold ingot to the coachman, “To Blood Saber Sect.”

Qin Chu looked at the coachman; he wanted to see what the coachman would choose.

“You go, I’m taking them to Blood Saber Sect,” the coachman said to Qin Chu.

“Alright! Although you’re not honorable, I won’t force you. Give me back the gold ingot!” Qin Chu shook his head. In this diverse world with diverse people, encountering such a petty person who forgets righteousness for profit, he was helpless.

At this moment, the coachman shook his head, “What gold ingot? I’m taking these two to Blood Saber Sect now.”

“Get lost!” the Blood Saber Sect Disciple said to Qin Chu. They saw Qin Chu give the gold ingot to the coachman, but what did that have to do with them?

“I’m saying it one more time: give me back the gold ingot, and I’ll pretend today’s events never happened!” Qin Chu’s voice grew cold. He tolerated the dishonest business practice, but now they wanted to steal his ingot and tell him to get lost. This was simply too much bullying, and he wouldn't tolerate it.

“You’re courting death!” The Blood Saber Sect Disciple drew his saber. This was a city relatively close to Blood Saber Sect, so they were accustomed to being arrogant. Furthermore, Qin Chu’s face was too young, and he looked like an ordinary person. They didn’t think they couldn't see Qin Chu’s Cultivation. They believed Qin Chu had no Cultivation, and his long sword was just for show, to look cool.

The opponent drew his saber and attacked, and Qin Chu showed no mercy. His Azure Spirit Sword struck out, and with two casual swings, he killed the two Blood Saber Sect Disciples. If they were evil, he would be even more evil than them.

Qin Chu bent down and collected their storage rings, then looked at the coachman, “Are you taking them to Blood Saber Sect, or are you taking me to the Great Qian Imperial Capital?”

At this point, the coachman dared not speak any more nonsense. He knew he was blind and hadn't recognized the ruthless Young Master in front of him. Now, only by being honest could he survive.

Qin Chu got on the beast-drawn carriage and left the city, heading towards the Great Qian Imperial Capital.

“Do you think this is enough?” Sitting in the beast-drawn carriage, Qin Chu spoke. The other party was dishonest in business and tried to steal his ingot, so he naturally wouldn't let it go at that.

Hearing Qin Chu’s words, the coachman, who was sitting in front of the carriage, pulled open the curtain and pushed Qin Chu’s gold ingot in front of him.

“Making mistakes requires paying a price. This isn’t enough!” Qin Chu said. He didn’t intend to easily forgive the other party. He had the strength, otherwise, he would have been severely bullied today.

The coachman, with a bitter face, took out the gold ingot the Blood Saber Sect Disciple had given him and pushed it in front of Qin Chu.

After collecting the gold ingot, Qin Chu stopped bothering the coachman.

Sitting quietly to Cultivate Origin Qi, Qin Chu also reflected. Today’s events made him realize the cruelty of the law of the jungle, and he needed to accelerate the improvement of his Cultivation.

During the journey, the coachman dared not say a single word of nonsense, because Qin Chu had drawn his sword and killed people right in front of him. Qin Chu even dared to kill Blood Saber Sect Disciples, let alone a mere coachman like him.

After more than seven days, Qin Chu arrived at the Great Qian Imperial Capital. The beast-drawn carriage entered through the main gate, exited through the west gate, and stopped in front of Lingwu Palace.

Upon arriving in front of Lingwu Palace, Qin Chu jumped off the carriage and turned to look at the coachman, “This time, you met me, who has a relatively good temper. If it were someone with a bad temper, you’d be dead!”

“Thank you, Young Master, for sparing my life.” Bowing to Qin Chu, the coachman drove away.

Qin Chu arrived in front of Lingwu Palace, “Please inform your Princess that Qin Chu is visiting.”

Upon seeing Qin Chu, the guards in front of Lingwu Palace entered the palace to report. If it were an ordinary person seeking an audience, they wouldn’t easily report it, but Qin Chu was different. Qin Chu had stayed in Lingwu Palace for a period, and the Lingwu Palace guards all recognized him.

Upon hearing the report from her subordinate guard, Qian Lingwu’s body flickered, and she appeared in front of Lingwu Palace.

“It really is you!” Seeing Qin Chu, Qian Lingwu smiled. She was quite surprised, as she didn’t think Qin Chu would come to see her.

“What’s real or fake about it? I came to see you,” Qin Chu said.

Qian Lingwu led Qin Chu into the palace, then had a maid arrange wine and dishes.

“You seem to have changed.” After sitting down and looking at Qian Lingwu, Qin Chu expressed his feelings.

“How have I changed?” Qian Lingwu looked at herself.

“Your temperament has changed. Before, it was cold, unapproachable, the kind where if you got close, you’d be unlucky; now it’s still cold, but the coldness carries a sense of exuberance, that kind of soaring emotion.” Qin Chu thought for a moment, then expressed his feelings.

Qian Lingwu nodded. She knew Qin Chu’s feeling was correct. The words Qian Lingtian said that day made her realize that the family affection she thought she had lost was not lost at all. Her elder brother was still the brother who was willing to do anything for her; she just hadn’t known it.

“Did you come to me for something? You didn’t get into some trouble at Azure Cloud Sect, get kicked out, and now you’re asking for shelter, did you? Don’t worry, I said it before, as long as you come, I will take you in,” Qian Lingwu said.

Qin Chu was a bit helpless, “Why can’t you wish me well? I came to discuss something with you.”

“I also have something to tell you. You go first!” Qian Lingwu said to Qin Chu. She knew Qin Chu had something to say. A Qin Chu with nothing to say would definitely be Cultivating on the cliff of Azure Bamboo Peak.
