Chapter 81: Just not convinced

“Qian Lingwu, I can tell you, if anything happens to him, the Qingyun Sect will fight your Qian Dynasty to the death, no matter the cost!” Mo Daozi dared not step forward to rescue him, but he declared the Qingyun Sect’s determination.

“Qian Dynasty… If you want to fight, then fight! Let’s go!” Qian Lingwu tugged on the beast sinew in her hand, dragging Qin Chu away.

With his right leg being pulled, Qin Chu could only follow Qian Lingwu.

After a few steps, Qin Chu took out a Storage Ring and threw it towards Mo Daozi. Inside was the Azure King Token. He was captured by Qian Lingwu and had lost his freedom, so he couldn't let the Azure King Token be lost.

Ignoring the Storage Ring Qin Chu threw, Qian Lingwu took Qin Chu and left the Qingyun Sect.

“Hey! You are the Grand Princess of the Qian Dynasty, so are you the Qian Emperor’s eldest daughter?” Being dragged by his ankle by Qian Lingwu was very uncomfortable, so Qin Chu could only try to make conversation.

“No, I am the daughter of the previous Qian Emperor and the younger sister of the current Qian Emperor. Because I am a generation older than the current princesses, I am called the Grand Princess. Shut up, why are you asking so many questions? You are a prisoner now, you should have the awareness of a prisoner.” Qian Lingwu pulled hard on the beast sinew in her hand.

“Women should act like women, why are you so fierce?” Qin Chu said, displeased, because Qian Lingwu had almost pulled him down.

Qian Lingwu turned around and kicked him, almost knocking Qin Chu over.

Qin Chu fell silent! A wise man knows when to retreat. He knew that further provoking Qian Lingwu would do him no good; finding an opportunity to escape was the Righteous Path.

“Are you thinking of running away? I’ll make it clear to you. The first time I catch you running, I’ll chop off your left leg; the second time, I’ll chop off your other, right leg; the third time, I’ll chop off your head. So you have two chances, you can try.” Qian Lingwu seemed to guess Qin Chu’s thoughts and directly threw the choice to him.

Are these even chances? Qin Chu was helpless; he wouldn't joke around with his own legs. Without a sure-fire opportunity, he wouldn't run.

After leaving the Qingyun Sect a short distance, Origin Qi surged around Qian Lingwu. A stream of Origin Qi landed on Qin Chu, then wrapped around him, and they began to fly.

Qin Chu was somewhat helpless; he hadn't expected his first flight to be like this, as a captive.

After flying for half a day, Qian Lingwu landed by a stream and stopped to rest.

Qian Lingwu threw Qin Chu aside and made tea for herself, completely ignoring Qin Chu.

Ignoring Qian Lingwu, Qin Chu drank some water by the stream, ate a True Spirit Pill, and began to Cultivate in meditation. He saw Qian Lingwu take out a meditation cushion, and it was getting late, so they clearly wouldn't be traveling anymore.

Qian Lingwu didn't bother with Qin Chu; he couldn't run away anyway. It could be said that no rustle of leaves could escape her notice.

This time, Qin Chu meditated until dawn, awakened by Qian Lingwu pulling on the beast sinew.

“Let’s go!” After waking Qin Chu, Qian Lingwu said.

“Do you have any humanity? I haven’t eaten anything yet!” Waking him up just to travel immediately, Qian Lingwu’s behavior made Qin Chu very displeased. Whether he was a prisoner or a captive, he shouldn't be starved, right?

Qian Lingwu glared at Qin Chu, took out a bottle of Medicinal Pills, and threw it to him. “These are Grain-Exempting Pills. Eat one every three days, and you won’t need to eat food.”

At this moment, Qin Chu understood why Shang Shuyu didn't eat the roasted meat he and Bai Yu and others made; she also had Grain-Exempting Pills to eat.

Let’s travel! Qin Chu was now the fish on the chopping block; whatever Qian Lingwu said, went. He couldn't resist!

Carried by Qian Lingwu, they flew for more than three days, reaching the core area of the Qian Dynasty, the Great Qian Imperial Capital!

Looking at the prosperous Great Qian Imperial Capital, Qin Chu felt what was called heritage and what was called prosperity; some cities simply couldn't compare.

“What’s wrong, haven’t you seen a city like this before?” Qian Lingwu, wearing a veil, said.

Upon entering the city, Qian Lingwu had put on a veil because her appearance was indeed too striking.

“Haven’t you noticed how people are looking at me? If you’re going to lock me up somewhere, hurry up and do it. I can’t stand these looks.” Qin Chu was very speechless; with the beast sinew tied to his ankle, many people were staring.

Qian Lingwu looked at Qin Chu, then took him out of the city, to a palace on the west side of the city.

Near the palace, Qin Chu saw female patrol guards, none of whose cultivation he could discern.

“Watch this fellow. If he steps out of the palace area, chop off one of his legs and bring it back to me.” Qian Lingwu gave the order, then pulled Qin Chu inside the palace and untied the beast sinew from his foot.

“You can tell me your demands, I’ll fulfill them, and then you let me go,” Qin Chu said, looking at Qian Lingwu.

“You still want to leave?” Qian Lingwu looked at Qin Chu with cold eyes.

Qin Chu smiled, “Since you don’t plan to let me go, I have nothing to say. Don’t expect to gain anything from me either.”

“Do you think you still have room to refuse?” Qian Lingwu stood up, lifted her skirt with one hand, and then kicked Qin Chu down.

“If you won’t let me live, then kill me!” Qin Chu drew his sword, unleashed the Startling God Transformation, and charged at Qian Lingwu. Since he couldn’t leave alive, why wait to fight?

In such a situation, perhaps many people would choose suicide, but Qin Chu wouldn’t. He felt that if he was going to die, he should die in battle.

Qian Lingwu made her move, using her old trick. After blocking Qin Chu’s Azure Spirit Sword attack, she raised her foot and kicked!

Qin Chu, who had been kicked down, immediately got up and fought again.

Before long, blood flowed from Qin Chu’s mouth. Even with blood flowing, Qin Chu continued to fight. A man is unyielding; as long as he can stand upright, he must continue to fight!

He didn't know how many times he had been kicked. Several of Qin Chu’s ribs were broken, and his internal organs were displaced, but he still got up and charged after falling.

Half an hour later, Qin Chu stood up shakily, leaning on his long sword. The tiger’s mouth of his sword-holding hand was split, constantly bleeding.

Standing up, Qin Chu once again charged at Qian Lingwu!

“Enough, if you keep fighting, you’ll die without me needing to kill you!” Qian Lingwu frowned. She had seen all sorts of people, but never someone as stubborn as Qin Chu.

“Indeed, further fighting would just be asking for trouble. I’ve done my best, and it’s not humiliating. Azure Spirit Sword, if you cannot drink the enemy’s blood, then drink mine!” Looking at the long sword in his hand, Qin Chu twisted his wrist, and the Azure Spirit Sword stabbed towards his heart. At this point, he had no other option. He had fought to the end, and further fighting would only be humiliation. It was time for release.

Seeing this, Qian Lingwu’s body flashed, and with a flick of her silken sleeve, she struck Qin Chu’s right hand, knocking it away. By then, the Azure Spirit Sword had already pierced three inches into Qin Chu’s chest.

Unable to hold on any longer, Qin Chu leaned back and fell backward. He felt that his only regret in this life was not having seen his parents.
