Chapter 230: #230 - Freshman Simon Molia (request subscribe for updates of ten thousand words)

Sea Iceberg.

On this icy continent created by magic, Leon, Dolores, and Sophie stood in a blizzard.

The atmosphere suddenly became a little awkward.

Alexander took the demon Cruz to explore the cave.

This icy continent, created by the uncontrolled magic of a witch, was very stable, allowing Alexander and Cruz to play here to their heart's content, without worrying about accidentally destroying everything with too much force.

Leon, thinking about his neglect of Dolores earlier, coughed twice and asked,

"Dolores, are you hurt?"

Dolores shook her head, obviously still in a fit of pique, not wanting to pay attention to Leon.

"Dolores, come here."

Leon waved his hand.

For some reason, Dolores, who had prepared herself to never speak to Leon again, still walked over when she heard his commanding tone.

Leon reached out and hugged Dolores as well.

"You are all important to me, and I don't want to lose any of you."

Even though Leon knew he was saying scummy things, he still said it from the bottom of his heart.

In any case, they had already met, so he might as well confess everything.

The sensitive Dolores immediately teared up, wanting to break free from Leon's embrace, but he held her tightly.

She could only pound his chest with her small fists.

The dazed Sophie completely didn't understand what Leon meant, but obediently nodded and said "I'm sorry" to Dolores.

Seeing Sophie like this, Dolores cried even harder.

Sophie didn't know why her apology made the other person cry.

Could it be that she had hit her too hard earlier and hurt her?

Sophie felt even more guilty.

"I'm sorry."

Another apology completely broke Dolores's defenses.

She cried and hammered Leon.

Of course, Leon knew that Dolores wasn't using any force; if Dolores was even slightly serious, she could open a flower on the chest of a six-star Blood Knight like Leon.

So he could only take the beating and continue to shamelessly hug them.

Until Dolores was tired of crying, she rubbed her eyes and said to Sophie,

"I'm sorry, I should have been honest with you from the beginning."

Sophie looked at Dolores, reached out, and wiped away her tears.

"No need to apologize, I was the one who said too much. You will always be Leon's fiancée."

Leon took a deep look at Sophie.

How could they get along so harmoniously? Shouldn't there be at least a little jealousy?

In comparison, Dolores was much more normal.

Perhaps this embrace was too warm.

Sophie felt like she was covered with a quilt, and the feeling of being wrapped up wasn't bad.

She was a little tired and slowly closed her eyes.

She actually fell asleep in Leon's arms.

Since learning that Leon had died at sea, Sophie hadn't eaten, and she didn't even have the mood to take care of the kingfisher. Several days of fasting couldn't do anything to a witch, but it cost the kingfisher its precious life.

Sophie didn't sleep or eat. Even Anna was worried about her in this state.

That's why Anna thought of having Greenleaf Territory respond to the call.

They came to the royal capital with the army, but were unexpectedly stopped by Tina, unable to go to the sea base.

Sophie forcibly passed through the teleportation gate and fought with Dolores. Her state at the time was a desperate gamble. If she couldn't avenge Leon, then she might as well die at sea.

But now, discovering that Leon was still alive, her tense heart completely relaxed, and her body felt unprecedented fatigue.

That's why she fell asleep directly.

Hearing Sophie's steady breathing, Leon and Dolores were slightly stunned.

Dolores looked at the sleeping Sophie, wiped her tears, and said,

"Leon, you must cherish her."

Leon held Sophie even tighter, afraid that she would catch a cold here.

"Yes. I will cherish her."

Although Sophie was somewhat slow to emotions and had never expressed her feelings to him, and he had never confessed to Sophie.

But Leon knew that he held an irreplaceable position in Sophie's heart, and she in his.

Sophie could disregard life and death to avenge him.

He could also be an enemy of the whole world for Sophie, if that day ever came.

When Leon said this, Dolores cried even harder.

It was as if she knew she would never be the person deepest in Leon's heart.

Although Leon had always been very good to her, and he would almost always support her no matter what she wanted to do.

But she knew that in Leon's heart, she was not the most special existence.

Dolores never thought she would lose to anyone. She had always been the most perfect marriage partner in the eyes of all the young people in the empire. She had always been the goal that all witches looked up to. She was beautiful, wealthy, and her personal wealth exceeded that of the empire. She even possessed the powerful power to destroy the empire, but she lost to the penniless Sophie.

Perhaps it was precisely because Sophie had nothing that she could do what she wanted with all her strength.

While she was bound by all sorts of fetters.

Dolores suddenly envied Sophie at this moment.

Leon was her whole world.

Such pure love that didn't need words to prove it.

Perhaps it was like Dad's love for Mom.

Perhaps it was the real reason why she was truly afraid of love.

Leon and Sophie, if either of them died, the other might not be able to survive, right?

"Dolores, let's go, we need to stop them."

Dolores nodded heavily.

She didn't want to see her father die at the hands of Duke Moria either.

She had come to stop the battle between the two seven-star Order Knights in the first place.

So they went together to find Duke Moria and Earl Hall, who were still fighting.

It was also very simple to find them. Although the ocean was vast, they could find them by finding the place with the heaviest bloody smell.

Sniffing the scent, Leon and Dolores quickly found the two knights.

"Dad, stop fighting."

Dolores spoke to stop them.

"Grandpa."

Although Leon's voice was not loud, Duke Moria still heard it.

Earl Hall and Duke Moria stopped at the same time and looked back at Leon.

"Grandpa, I'm fine."

Leon said softly, looking at Duke Moria, who looked a circle older.

He hadn't actually thought that Duke Moria would come to duel Earl Hall, because it didn't fit the image of the old man in Leon's mind at all.

He was the Prime Minister of the Empire, a person who would sever blood ties with his own son for the sake of a marriage, an ambitious person who wanted to explore the new world, a high-ranking person who would not hesitate to let his descendants appear on the most dangerous battlefield in order to train them.

Leon had never thought that he would hold such a high position in Duke Moria's heart.

He had only spent a few months with Duke Moria, and the Moria family still had big plans in the Northern Territory.

The entire family had clear goals, but Duke Moria risked his life to avenge him, which was likely to cause the family to lose its mainstay. It was the fact that a person who had experienced the vicissitudes of life suddenly made such an emotional decision that truly moved Leon.

If Leon had previously called Duke Moria Grandpa in front of him just to curry favor.

Then now when he called him Grandpa, it was sincere.

Duke Moria strode forward, came to Leon, and reached out to pat Leon on the shoulder.

"It's good that you're still alive."

They were now on a floating island.

But this floating island would most likely not last long before it would disintegrate into rubble and sink into the sea.

Although Duke Moria and Earl Hall were both badly injured, neither of them was in mortal danger. Seeing that Leon was safe and sound, he didn't intend to continue to entangle with Hall.

"Hall, you will pay the price for your actions. Wait for the Supreme Court."

Duke Moria turned around and looked at Earl Hall coldly.

"You're the one who's going to the Supreme Court, Duke Moria. You've already violated the laws of war by attacking the Empire's commander-in-chief during the Empire's foreign expedition. This is treason."

Earl Hall didn't back down at all.

His gaze fell on Leon, his eyes hiding disbelief.

"Why didn't he die? What went wrong?"

Earl Hall asked himself this question that no one could answer, and looked at Dolores with a complicated expression.

"Dolores, did you know everything?"

Dolores nodded.

Leon observed Earl Hall's entries again at this time, and finally saw three entries that he hadn't noticed before.

[Seed of Bewitchment] You were seriously injured in the Lopez battle and were on the verge of death. In order to save you, Randall made a deal with the [Mouth of Bewitchment]. You were implanted with the [Seed of Bewitchment]. This seed will take root and sprout in your thinking domain, causing your behavior to be beyond your control until you become an [Eight-Star Knight] to get rid of the fate of becoming a puppet.

[Second Personality] Your honesty and kindness have become your weaknesses on the battlefield. In order to save you, Randall gave you a gift, a second personality. When you go to the battlefield, you will become a cold-blooded and ruthless leader, using any means to achieve your goals. Do you want to return to your family? Then accept this gift. The second personality will only be activated during the war and will not affect your normal life.

[Entry Hidden] Thanks to Dolores's accidental actions, you have mastered the knack of hiding entries. Ordinary entry detectors cannot detect your dark entries. Only the Divine Eye can see your anomalies.

Sure enough, all of this was related to the [Mouth of Bewitchment] and Randall.

Earl Hall certainly believed that he had to become an [Eight-Star War Knight] in order to get rid of the control of the [Seed of Bewitchment], but he didn't know that his behavior had actually been influenced by the [Seed of Bewitchment] all along.

The reason why Earl Hall was so different in ordinary times and on the battlefield was also explained.

Because when he went to the battlefield, he would activate his second personality, which would dominate his judgment.

This was why people felt a sense of separation and thought that Earl Hall's transformation was too abrupt.

Of course, no matter which personality he was, the fact that Earl Hall loved his daughter was unchanged, otherwise he wouldn't have gone to sea alone, killed so many sea beasts, and saved himself and Dolores.

From this point of view, although Earl Hall killed his clone once, he also saved himself once before that. It was even.

But the price to pay to save Earl Hall was a bit high.

To clean up his entries would definitely expose his secrets.

But if he didn't clean up his entries, then he would become his enemy, putting Dolores in a dilemma.

He had to think of a comprehensive solution so that more people wouldn't know his secrets.

Even if Earl Hall was Dolores's father, Leon, who had been stabbed in the back once, didn't dare to joke with his few cards.

Just as Leon was considering how to deal with Earl Hall, Earl Hall was also thinking about how to deal with Leon.

He had killed Leon once, and Leon must have guessed his secret. If he joined forces with Duke Moria to accuse him, Augustus might really execute him. After all, the expedition conspiracy had deceived Augustus.

The entire Hall family would also be suppressed as a result.

Dolores might also be imprisoned and used as a breeding tool for the Frank family.

He absolutely didn't want to see such a situation.

Then, the best solution at the moment was to kill Leon and deal with Duke Moria along the way.

"Listen, Dolores, no matter what you're thinking, I just need you to believe that I'm doing this for the benefit of our Hall family. As a daughter of the Hall family, you should also do your part for the family."

"Dad, what do you want me to do?"

"Never let them return to the Empire."

Earl Hall said, looking at Duke Moria and Leon Moria.

Dolores frowned slightly. "Dad, that's the Prime Minister of the Empire. Killing him is treason."

"Alex Moria and Leon Moria have been infected by the evil god. If we don't kill them, they will bring disaster to the Empire and the entire Hall family. Haven't you always wanted to know the truth? The truth is that I discovered the fact that Leon was infected. I killed him, but he was resurrected again with the power of the evil god. Dolores, kill him."

Earl Hall said in an unquestionable tone.

"Dad, I'm sorry."

Dolores turned her face away, unwilling to carry out this order.

This was like betrayal to Earl Hall.

"Dolores, don't you believe Dad anymore?"

Earl Hall asked with a frown.

Dolores's betrayal caught Earl Hall off guard. He had never thought that Dolores would choose to stand on his opposite side.

This operation surprised Duke Moria as well.

He had thought that Dolores would stand firmly on Earl Hall's side.

"It seems that old Hall has lost completely this time."

Duke Moria said calmly.

He himself didn't have any objections to Dolores, after all, she was a legendary witch. Standing on his grandson's side was better than becoming an enemy.

"Earl, how can a person have the ability to be resurrected? I have never died. Are you misunderstanding something?"

Leon suddenly spoke.

Causing Duke Moria and Earl Hall to be confused.

"What do you mean?"

Earl Hall asked.

"I'm sorry, but the Leon Moria who participated in the expedition was actually not me, but my brother Simon Moria. We are twins, but we have been separated since we were young. Not long ago, he found me and persuaded me to let him take my place in the expedition. When the expedition was over, he could stand in front of the family and His Majesty the Emperor in a dignified manner and become a big man who obtained a title without relying on inheritance. I agreed to his request. He and I actually have many differences. I follow the path of a believer, but he follows the path of a knight. He was once adopted by the blood clan,

so he is a rare Blood Knight. Haven't you noticed that?"

Leon's ability to make up stories was at its peak, and he wasn't completely lying.

In fact, the children that Jack Moria and Daisy had back then were indeed twins.

It's just that Daisy took one away and left one for Jack.

The son who stayed with Jack had already died.

Because most people didn't know the secret of the Gifted Item, Eye of the Future, Leon's lie could stand up to verification.

Moreover, a person with absolute talent in the believer field could not possibly be equally outstanding in the knight field,

this was the consensus of everyone.

Leon had also obtained dual talents by relying on the cheat system, and no one could possibly know this cheat.

So his lie seemed a bit more true than the truth.

"I'm very sorry, Simon and I deceived everyone, including Grandpa and Uncle Hall, but Uncle Hall, you shouldn't have killed him either. Even if he was infected by the evil god, there must be a way to save him.

I can try to pray to the angels. In fact, I have been studying how to reach an agreement with the angels so that the angels can respond to the prayers of believers at any time. I have made some achievements in this research."

Leon said sincerely.

Earl Hall frowned even more.

He made a rule in his heart.

It stipulated that everyone present must tell the truth.

To verify the authenticity of Leon's words,

Leon had already anticipated this point. A person who had been cheated once couldn't always fall in the same place.

To solve this, he needed someone who also had the ability to make rules to offset this rule.

He had to rely on his grandfather.

When Duke Moria heard about Leon's twin brother, he knew he was lying, so he naturally had to cooperate tacitly at this moment.

Although he didn't know why Leon wanted to stabilize Earl Hall with lies.

But he also knew what kind of shock it would bring to the Empire to completely break up the two big families.

For the Prime Minister of the Empire, the stability of the domestic situation was very important.

Moreover, the Moria family still had big plans in the Northern Territory. It was okay for him to be impulsive once for Leon's death.

After calming down, he should properly handle this relationship so that the Empire wouldn't fall apart.

Don't ruin two creed families because of an expedition.

"You have a brother? Why haven't I heard of it before?"

Earl Hall asked.

"My brother and I are both illegitimate children of my father. There's no need to publicize this to the point where everyone knows it. Moreover, my brother was once adopted by the blood clan for a period of time. He is a true heretic in the eyes of the Holy See."

Leon sighed and said, "He is also a bit extreme in his actions. I actually didn't want him to participate in the expedition."

"Dad, Leon does have a twin brother."

Dolores had done a background check on Leon before and knew that this was true.

Although she didn't know why Leon was lying to Earl Hall now, she chose to stand on Leon's side.

This was the best way to prevent conflicts and battles on both sides.

Stabilize Earl Hall first.

It seemed that Leon wasn't lying. If the person he killed was really Leon's twin brother, it meant that Leon didn't know his secret. In that case, there was no need to kill Leon.

After all, Dolores seemed to like this kid very much.

Earl Hall thought so, and his gaze fell on his daughter Dolores again.

He didn't want to do things that would make Dolores sad, unless it was necessary.

"Hall, no matter what, you killed one of my grandsons. You must repay this debt."

Duke Moria said angrily.

"I'm sorry, I was indeed impulsive. Even if he was infected by the evil god, I should have sent him back to the Imperial Capital and handed him over to the Moria family for disposal."

Earl Hall decided to settle the matter and let it pass as soon as possible so that he could continue his expedition war.

"As compensation, the Hall family is willing to give up all the shares of the Imperial Bank."

The Hall family was richer than a country, and the shares of an Imperial Bank were just a drop in the bucket.

But for the Moria family, which was short of money, it was like sending charcoal in the snow.

The Northern Territory needed a lot of money.

But for the Moria family, if a young six-star Blood Knight was really lost, this compensation would be a bit too little.

"Can a few shares exchange Simon's life?"

Duke Moria was also an old actor, and his on-the-spot performance was completely flawless.

In addition, Earl Hall did kill Leon once, so what was wrong with Duke Moria asking for some compensation for his grandson?

He felt at ease, like a diplomat who had stepped onto the negotiating table, speaking with powerful words.

"Hall, this matter is not that simple."

"Moria, regardless of whether I killed your grandson, you attacked me during the expedition, destroying the military base, which already constitutes treason. You have no right to ask me to give more."

Seeing that the two seven-star Order Knights were about to quarrel again, Dolores tentatively asked,

"What if it's the entire Imperial Bank?"

The entire Imperial Bank had many shareholders, the largest of which was the Hall family, and some were the shares of the Frank family and other great nobles. If the entire Imperial Bank was to be given to the Moria family, it would mean that the shares of other families would have to be bought and given to the Moria family. That would be a huge sum of money, but Dolores had no shortage of money.

Leon agreed on behalf of Duke Moria.

"Thank you, Uncle Hall. I believe you must have been forced to do it before you attacked my brother. I believe in your character, and this compensation can be considered an explanation to the family."

Leon showed that his relationship with his twin brother wasn't very good.

In fact, he had never even met his twin brother, so it was normal for their relationship to be bad.

Earl Hall snorted coldly, which was considered an agreement to use the entire Imperial Bank to offset the life of Duke Moria's grandson.

Dolores also breathed a sigh of relief.

She was really worried that her father and Duke Moria would fight again.

"Sea base."

Earl Hall had just opened his mouth.

Dolores immediately said, "Dad, although the floating island is destroyed, there is now a glacier there that is much larger than the floating island. We can build a naval base on it."

"Glacier?"

Earl Hall frowned slightly. He looked at Dolores suspiciously, "Did you create it? '

Dolores shook her head. "It was created by Sophie, the witch from Greenleaf Territory that Leon brought."

"What about the Blue Whale and the fleet?"

"The soldiers have all returned to the Imperial Capital through the teleportation gate. As for the warships, they were probably destroyed."

Dolores said with her head lowered.

Earl Hall wasn't surprised by this result. As long as the soldiers were still there, the base and ships could be rebuilt, but the battle with the Azure Dragon Court would probably be delayed for a while.

Now that he thought about it, it was indeed impulsive to kill Leon directly at that time.

No, it should be Simon.

Earl Hall couldn't distinguish between the two brothers, but as long as his secret wasn't exposed, it was fine.

Dolores reopened the teleportation gate, allowing everyone to return to the Imperial Capital first.

After such a thing happened, they would inevitably be summoned and questioned by Emperor Augustus.

Moreover, since the soldiers were gone, it was completely useless for the commander to stay here.

After returning to Yalong City, Earl Hall and Duke Moria, including the resurrected Leon, were immediately summoned by Emperor Augustus.

In the palace, Augustus had already angrily started smashing cups.

"Nonsense! It's just nonsense!"

"The one who died was Simon Moria?! Then who did I posthumously confer the title on?"

"Have you put me, the Emperor, in your eyes?"

"Duke Moria, I have always valued you very much. You are the Prime Minister of the Empire, but you personally destroyed the entire naval base, destroyed the Blue Whale and my sacred fleet!"

"Earl Hall, even if that Simon was infected by the evil god, you can't directly kill him and hold a funeral for him. Damn it, because of you, I posthumously conferred the title of Viscount on him. Now that Leon Moria is standing here alive, it means that the Emperor will become the laughing stock of the entire Holy Empire!"

"Leon Moria, is it interesting for you and your brother to play the game of switching identities? You have really let down my trust in you."

Duke Moria, Earl Hall, and Leon said nothing, allowing Augustus to vent his anger and dissatisfaction.

There was no way, who told the other party to be the Emperor.

Having returned to land and away from the battlefield, Hall had become normal. He knew that this must have been done by his second personality, and the second personality always did things that violated his will. He didn't know if this would affect Dolores.

Earl Hall was a little worried. He didn't hear a word of the Emperor's scolding, but was just thinking about how to explain it to Dolores.

If it weren't for the fact that both Duke Moria and Earl Hall were seriously injured, Augustus really wanted to listen to the two Earls and send them to the Supreme Court.

"I'll give you one month, the Hall family and the Moria family, you must reorganize and expedition again! Don't disappoint me this time. Hall, Moria, you two must unite. Our goal is to capture the Azure Dragon Court!"

Augustus was finally tired of scolding before ordering Duke Moria and Earl Hall.

"As for you, Leon Moria, since you're already dead, then continue to be dead. From now on, only Simon Moria is still alive. Leon Moria, as a hero of the Empire, has died on the battlefield."

"That Emperor, can't you tell the people the truth, that the one who died was Simon Moria?"

"Do you want me to admit my mistake?"

Augustus raised his eyebrows and looked at Leon.

He didn't want to become a laughing stock in the entire history of emperors.

"Okay, Your Majesty the Emperor, I am my brother, Simon Moria."

Leon sighed helplessly, as if he had sacrificed a lot for the sake of the Emperor's face.

In fact, he had just changed his title, which had no impact on him.

Augustus scolded for a morning before finally sending away the two powerful ministers and the new noble of the Empire.

He picked up the red wine with a happy mood and slowly drank it.

"Your Majesty the Emperor, you looked very angry just now, why did your mood suddenly improve?"

Zenobia Frank, who had been hiding behind the curtain, slowly walked out. She fanned her feather fan, swayed her gorgeous skirt, and walked gracefully to Augustus, placing her hand on Augustus's cheek.

Augustus looked at Zenobia Frank and said coldly, "Kneel."

The corners of Zenobia Frank's mouth rose slightly, and she knelt at Augustus's feet.

Augustus raised Zenobia Frank's chin with a playful look.

Zenobia Frank reached out her hand, and Augustus slowly pulled her up and pulled her into his arms.

Since Dolores rejected him, Augustus had been messing around with Zenobia Frank.

The relationship between the two was now extraordinary.

"Let me guess, you actually wanted to scold those two old guys a long time ago, right? That's why you were so happy just now."

"Yes, these two old things always put on a show of discord in front of me, treating me like a fool, but after this incident, the Moria family and the Hall family are truly at odds."

Augustus bit Zenobia's lips.

Zenobia took off Augustus's coat. "The Moria family has lost a six-star Blood Knight junior. It is indeed impossible for the two sides to be on the same front again, unless Leon marries Dolores."

Augustus instantly became furious. He grabbed Zenobia's slender neck and directly pressed Zenobia onto the table.

"What did you just say?"

"Augustus, are you angry? You look very tempting when you're angry."

The corners of Zenobia's mouth rose slightly.

The servants all consciously exited Augustus's study.

Soon, Zenobia's laughter, like waves, came from the room.

After the two were crazy, Zenobia lazily got up from the ground and looked out the window in disheveled clothes.

Seeing Leon get on the Moria family's carriage, she licked her tongue.

"I really want to get that man, Augustus, you have to help me. I'm going to the Northern Continent soon. I heard that all the demi-humans live there. I really don't want to be with those monsters."

"Zenobia, Leon is not interested in you. If he was interested, you would have succeeded at the last ball.

"I don't care, you have to help me."

Zenobia said in a coquettish tone.

Augustus couldn't do anything about this woman either.

"How can I help you?"

"How about giving him to me as a reward?"

"Then you should have people wrap yourself up.

Augustus said in a joking tone. He didn't expect Zenobia Frank to immediately call the servants.

Augustus really didn't expect her to be so bold. Could it be that he couldn't satisfy her? If it weren't for the fact that she would bring huge benefits to the family, Augustus really wanted to imprison her forever.

Leon followed Duke Moria back to Alex Fort.

Aunt Carrie and little Diane were quite frightened when they saw Leon.

The two women, one big and one small, huddled together and trembled.

"It's brother, brother's soul is back. Brother likes me too much, maybe he will take me away, Auntie save me."

"Diane, you silly girl, how would Leon want to take away a little ghost like you who hasn't fully developed? He must be coming for me. He saved me last time, but I didn't go to his grave to see him after he died. He must be coming for me."

"Ah, Auntie, what should I do."

Parker heard Leon's voice and rushed out of the room as well.

He grabbed Leon's hand excitedly, "Brother, I knew you weren't dead, you weren't dead, you really weren't dead."

Seeing Parker crying and laughing, Leon's heart warmed.

Only those who have truly died once will know who really cares about them.

Leon patted Parker's shoulder, "Don't cry, I also brought a guest."

"Who is this?"

At this time, the family saw the silver-haired girl Sophie.

Leon had been letting Sophie rest in the carriage, and now he could finally bring her home.

Sophie's beauty amazed Parker, Diane, and Carrie.

"Who is this beautiful lady? Is she a female ghost that brother brought back?"

Diane asked, crying.

"Diane, my brother is not dead!"

Parker reminded.

Diane and Carrie looked at each other and saw Duke Moria, who was very calm, before realizing that Leon was really not dead.

"Oh my god, Augustus has made a big fool of himself. He posthumously conferred the title of Viscount on you and published a long article in the media and newspapers to commemorate you."

Carrie suddenly found something funny.

"An article commemorating me? No wonder he looked like he had eaten dog shit when he saw me."

Leon laughed. Augustus wanted to take advantage of his death to gain popularity and make those who believed in Leon turn to believe in him, but this time he made a big joke. He didn't gain popularity and was ridiculed by the nobles.

But this also meant that Leon had another name in the future, Simon.

"Brother, are you really not dead?"

Diane mustered up the courage, rushed forward, and touched Leon's hand.

"It's warm! He's alive!"

"I told you, my brother is not dead."

Leon knocked on her not-so-smart head.

"Where's Angelina?"

"Her parents took her away. Three days after you left for the expedition."

Diane replied.

Leon nodded.

Sophie looked at this harmonious family of golden hair and suddenly felt a little envious.

She thought of the white-haired female officer who looked two or three points similar to her. She didn't know if she was her long-lost relative.

"This is Miss Sophie Oma, the witch from Greenleaf Territory."

Leon took the initiative to introduce Sophie to his family.

Sophie squeezed out a stiff smile.

She had rarely smiled since Leon left Greenleaf Territory.

But she felt that she should maintain basic etiquette in front of Leon's family so that they wouldn't misunderstand her,

and think that she was a witch who didn't let strangers near her.
