Chapter 107: Wander

The streets of Beta Town were winding, and the pedestrians on them were full of emotional twists and turns.

Zheng Qing's gaze swept over the gradually lighting up shop windows on both sides of the street, his thoughts drifting, always wanting to say something in front of beautiful women.

But the violet scent permeating the air seemed to be enchanted, leaving his mind in Chaos.

On the other hand, Xin Fatty next to him felt no pressure at all, constantly asking the Gypsy Witch beside him:

"How many students did your Witch Coven send this time?"

"Eight, no, nine." Ilena gestured with her fingers: "Including me, there are nine people."

"It's said that you usually stay in the Wizard Tower and don't communicate with the outside world, so how do you usually collect daily necessities?"

"We are Wizards!" The Witch looked at Xin in surprise, adding: "We all know magic."

"Oh, hahaha." Xin Fatty laughed heartily, with no trace of embarrassment on his face: "My home is in Rhein, very close to the Balkans, but you are the first Gypsy Witch I've ever seen... from childhood to adulthood! You know, your Gypsy Witches have left so many legends in Europa... I heard that there's an Elder in your Witch Coven who has lived for over a thousand years, is that true?"

Ilena listened to Xin's question with a smile, noncommittal.

A burst of exclamations came from the Walking Street, interrupting Xin Fatty's incessant questioning.

Several Little Elves rode brooms and wooden swords past them, knocking over a roll-up banner at the entrance of a roadside shop. Before the shop owner even came out, the Witch Agent on the roll-up banner had already started cursing angrily:

"How outrageous!"

"Children these days are so rude!"

"If you knock someone down, don't you know to help them up?!"

The sound made the canvas on the roll-up banner tremble.

The Little Elves turned their heads, made a face, and disappeared in a flash at the end of the Walking Street.

Xin Fatty looked enviously at those light vehicles, sighing: "If I had a broom back then, I could have left in time after breaking the glass, just like these little guys... Unfortunately, my family only had my mom's broom for beating people."

Ilena jogged a few steps, helped up the fallen roll-up banner, and wiped the dust off the Witch's robe on the canvas with her handkerchief.

The Witch on the canvas reined in her anger, becoming all smiles again, and beckoned:

"What a polite Little girl! Come into the shop and have a look, I'll ask the boss to give you a discount!"

Ilena smiled and shook her head, declining.

Zheng Qing had been in Chaos for a long time, finally finding a silly topic:

"What was the name of the gathering place again?"

"Wandering Bar!" Xin Fatty, oblivious, leaned in and reminded him: "I remember you told me that name before! How could you forget so quickly?!"

"Important people are forgetful!" Zheng Qing glared at the Fatty angrily, muttering resentfully.

The Fatty seemed to have just realized, shrugging, and said nothing.

"Is it that one up ahead?" Ilena suddenly spoke up beside them, reminding them.

Zheng Qing squinted, looking down the winding street.

Not far away, several familiar figures were waving at them.

"It should be." Zheng Qing nodded, somewhat excited: "I see Tang Dun."

"Wandering Bar... the name of this shop is really strange." The Gypsy Witch looked at the sign thoughtfully, shaking her head.

"The owner of this shop is a wandering Wizard, that's why it's called that." Zheng Qing finally found a suitable topic and couldn't help but show off: "'Entering First University' mentioned this owner. It's said that he is a traditional Palermo Wizard, filled with contempt for the powerful and wealthy. When he was young, he wandered around North Africa, and quite a few pharaohs' tombs were ruined by him. Later, when he got older, his ambitions faded, and he came to Beta Town to open this shop."

As they spoke, the group arrived at the shop entrance.

Xiao Xiao came to greet them, and seemed to have heard Zheng Qing's explanation, raising his eyebrows and adding:

"This wandering Wizard is not a proper White Wizard. His information cannot be found in the Registered Wizard Association's list. But if someone troubles you, for example, a Southeast Asian Wizard casts a curse on your dog, you can inquire about his name through some secret channels... So be well-behaved in the shop, he doesn't like people discussing his past."

"You know so much!" Ilena's eyes curved, smiling happily: "It's so lucky to be in the same class as you!"

Zheng Qing pulled at the corners of his mouth with great difficulty.

The girls at the entrance saw the transfer student's figure and, shouting excitedly, pulled her into the shop.

Xin Fatty had also impatiently squeezed through the door.

Zheng Qing lifted his foot, but finally stopped, dejected.

"Aren't you going in?" Xiao Xiao asked curiously.

"Why are you here so early! And why are you standing at the entrance?" Zheng Qing retorted unhappily.

"Actually, you're late." Xiao Xiao looked at his timer and said expressionlessly: "It's ten minutes until five in the afternoon, you shouldn't arrive right on time for this kind of activity. As for why I'm standing at the entrance."

The boy with the watermelon haircut turned his head, somewhat annoyed, and looked at the bar behind him: "It's too noisy inside."

"Come in, come in." Class Monitor Tang saw the two dawdling and talking at the bar entrance, walked over, and enthusiastically dragged them into the bar: "Everyone's inside, it's lively in there."

Zheng Qing looked at Xiao Xiao, whose face was wrinkled into a ball, and felt a sense of relief in his heart, unable to help but laugh.

The Wandering Bar's facade was small and unassuming.

But once inside, you could discover that the interior was a world of its own.

Passing through a winding, dim corridor, a spacious hall appeared before everyone.

Pleasant music and colorful lights surrounded them, enveloping each guest in a dazzling glow.

"It's not that noisy." Zheng Qing glanced at Xiao Xiao.

"It's not just sound that makes noise." Xiao Xiao snorted, pointing to the flickering colored lights around them: "The noise of colors is also noise."

Zheng Qing shrugged, helpless.

Teams of Little Elves rode glowing little birds, wandering and soaring through the room, serving the guests. In the birds' claws, they carried fruit baskets and wine bottles, and occasionally took away trash left by guests.

The room might have been solidified with magic similar to an 'Extension Charm,' as the area of the ceiling and the floor seemed somewhat unbalanced.

A huge stage and dozens of tables of various shapes were casually placed in the center. Behind the long stone bars on both sides, huge wooden wine barrels and wooden wine cabinets were arranged.

Dozens of candles floated casually above the room, casting a pale blue halo.

The entire bar was enveloped in an ancient and mysterious atmosphere.

This made Zheng Qing, who was entering the bar for the first time, a little uneasy.

It was afternoon, so there weren't many people in the bar, and the noise wasn't loud. Therefore, Zheng Qing could easily distinguish the voices of his classmates.

"Brother Xin!" Seeming to have finally found some confidence, Zheng Qing called out to the figure not far away.

Zhang Jixin looked up, his flushed face like a signal light.

He grinned and waved vigorously.
