Chapter 49: classmate

A wanted list is a bounty list issued by the Wizard Alliance against demons.

Every demon with a bloody record in the Wizarding World is included in this list.

The Wizard Alliance encourages institutional and civilian Hunting Teams to actively hunt the demons on this list.

The bounty offered by the Alliance is very high, starting from one hundred jade coins for these demons, with no upper limit.

No upper limit means there is no maximum.

It is said that the bounties for those ancient demons on the wanted list are calculated by 'wishes'; the bounty for the Sea Monster King is 'three wishes'.

In other words, as long as you can bring the Sea Monster King to justice, the Wizard Alliance can grant you three wishes.

In addition, if you hunt demons on the wanted list, the Alliance will also provide various additional benefits.

For example, when Hunters face demons on the wanted list, they can prioritize the use of powerful Spells or unrecorded experimental Spells, without having to consider the damage these Spells cause to the world.

This is a huge temptation for Wizards who like to experiment with new Spells.

Nikita is just a young Lich who has been transformed for less than ten years, and she is not yet qualified to be on the wanted list.

This was also the most infuriating thing for the special plane guards who suddenly appeared in the restaurant.

More embarrassing than the special plane being invaded by a demon was that the demon invading the special plane was an unknown nobody.

But compared to the angry expressions of these guards, Nikita seemed to have discovered a new continent and was overjoyed.

"Originally, I planned to take a few children to complete my mission," the demoness looked charmingly at these guards, her voice becoming much lighter: "But seeing you little guys, I realized I can completely run away by myself."

Running away alone is certainly safer than running away with a burden!

Her slender hand slammed heavily on the spell book floating in the air, and a blood-red six-pointed star array under her feet erupted with intense light, spraying countless rays of light.

The spell book burned fiercely, turning into a puff of flying ash in the blink of an eye, scattering and falling.

The demoness's figure, like an illusion, disappeared from the restaurant along with these distorted rays of light.

"Want to leave?!" the purple-haired woman snorted coldly, patted the spell book beside her, and turned into a wisp of light dust, disappearing from where she stood.

"I'll go help her." The Vodka man suddenly stood up, used his arms to tear open the space in front of him, and drilled into the dark world within.

The plane shook violently a few times.

Zheng Qing swallowed hard.

"Do I need to follow them, Captain?" From behind the bar, Hilda, with a face full of thumbtacks, threw a light green cocktail to the gray-haired young man beside Zheng Qing: "I can bring Victor his vodka that he just ordered on the way."

The slender glass glided through the air in a graceful arc, landing in the gray-haired young man's hand.

The three lemon slices on the wall of the glass swayed, tilting a little to the side.

"Victor and the other two are enough to pursue a Little Lich; we should stay put and guard the special plane to avoid any more accidents." The gray-haired captain shook his head, straightened the three lemon slices, bit the straw, and mumbled: "First, smash open the door; the people outside must be getting anxious."

Hilda nimbly flipped over from behind the bar.

He frowned, calculating, treading the Dao steps and muttering to himself.

Then, to Zheng Qing's full black lines, he plucked a few shiny nails from his ear and inserted them into the door crack.

"Puff..."

As if something had leaked, the red light on the tightly locked restaurant door flickered a few times.

Hilda quickly jumped back a few steps.

The door crashed down.

Black-robed Wizards, tall flight attendants in dark blue uniforms, Little Elves, and colorful figures surged in through the fallen door.

The Little Elves quickly dispersed into the restaurant, beginning to set up tables and chairs, pick up discarded plates on the floor, re-hang the silver-white curtains of the floor-to-ceiling windows, and dismantle the crooked and broken chandeliers.

It seemed that in an instant, this Death Qi-filled restaurant returned to its original lively clamor.

The gray-haired captain led a few flight attendants towards the lounge.

A golden-haired, black-robed Wizard who had just entered the door, holding a huge roster, shouted loudly: "Don't be chaotic, everyone, sign in order!"

But his voice was swallowed by a huge clamor.

The new students in the restaurant seemed to have just realized they were safe; shouts, cries, cheers, roars, boasts, all kinds of sounds converged, almost tearing off the roof.

Little Monk Shiyuan rushed over to them with Li Meng.

Li Meng held Zheng Qing's Poseidon in her arms, Xiao Xiao's old turtle in her hands, and her own pigeon, Xiaobai, on her shoulder, like a human zoo.

Poseidon forcibly broke free from Li Meng's embrace, squeaking loudly, and darted into Zheng Qing's arms.

Zheng Qing laughed loudly, stroking the little guy's fluffy fur.

Not far away, the Cobra, whose venom had been squeezed out, emerged from the small garden in the center of the hall and slid back to its owner's feet.

Its owner, the girl with the pointed chin, cried, hugging her cold little companion in her arms.

The golden-haired Wizard opened his mouth, as if to say something.

Hilda pulled him aside and shook his head: "Let them vent first."

He looked up, gazing out the window.

The special plane had already passed through the rainstorm area and was flying again under the sunny sky.

...

"Thank you for pulling me just now." The burly boy with a red face walked up to Zheng Qing and extended his right hand.

"I should be thanking you instead." Zheng Qing hastily wiped his hand on his clothes, reached out and shook the red-faced boy's hand, saying happily: "Xiao Xiao said you were the first to step forward and help me block the demon's attack."

"You're welcome, we're all classmates, it's what we should do." The red-faced boy shook his arm vigorously, squinted at Xiao Xiao beside him, and said in a drawn-out voice: "I just can't stand Wizards being so subservient in front of demons."

Xiao Xiao looked up and glanced at him expressionlessly.

The red-faced boy was very strong, Zheng Qing rubbed his arm and said with a wry smile: "My name is Zheng Qing, from Astronomy 08-1 Class, Nine Provinces College, First University. Nice to meet you."

"I'm in your class!" The boy laughed honestly: "My name is Zhang Jixin. Zhang as in 'bow-long Zhang', Ji as in 'season', Xin as in 'faith'."

"You're from Nine Provinces College?!" Li Meng exclaimed in surprise from the side: "Everyone thought you were a new student from Starry Sky Academy! Did you also take this year's Wizard College Entrance Exam? What was your score? What was your rank this year? You look like you can fight very well, why didn't you go to Starry Sky Academy?"

Zhang Jixin looked at the Little girl, somewhat at a loss, and then looked up at Zheng Qing.

Zheng Qing remained silent.

"My exam results weren't good." Zhang Jixin stammered for a long time: "I just, I just can't stand the arrogant Devilish Qi of demons; I don't really like fighting."

"I'm also from Astronomy 08-1 Class, Nine Provinces College, so we'll be classmates from now on." Li Meng, holding her pigeon, patted Zhang Jixin's arm as if to comfort him: "My Li Meng's Older Cousin is in our class; she's the third-ranked new student in Nine Provinces this year! I think if you went to Starry Sky Academy, you'd definitely have a good ranking too."

Zhang Jixin's already red face became even redder.

"I'm also from Astronomy 08-1 Class, Nine Provinces College." A weak voice from the side interrupted the awkward atmosphere.

Several people turned their heads in surprise to look.
