Chapter 35 Five Tibetan Sutras
There are exercises in this world that can prolong life, such as "Five Animal Exercises" and "Eight-Section Brocade".
However, this type of exercise often requires years of practice before it can be transformed from "health preservation" to "longevity".
Moreover, this kind of health-preserving technique is mainly for nourishing blood and replenishing the body. The Qi cultivated is weak and has less killing power than ordinary internal skills. In the game, it is called "healing system" or "healing system", which emphasizes recovery and is weaker than killing. Not only is it not powerful enough, it also requires a lot: less thinking, less thoughts, less desires, less things, less words, less laughter, less sorrow, less happiness, less joy, less anger, less good, less evil...
This is not cultivation at all.
He is totally out of touch with the world.
Obviously, the martial arts Zhao Wumian wanted was not of this kind. Zhu Yuanzhang and Zhu Biao naturally knew this, so the "Five Tibetan Classics" they gave him was not of this kind.
Strictly speaking, it is a "heretical path".
Keeping in good health is similar to practicing martial arts. If you want to increase your true energy, there are only two ways. One is to practice diligently, and the other is to seize and devour others.
Both "Five Animal Exercises" and "Eight-Section Brocade" are effective through years of strengthening the body and replenishing the vital energy.
This is not the case with The Original Classic of the Five Organs. It relies on the "Food Qi Method".
"Huainanzi" said: Those who eat meat are brave and fierce, those who eat grains are wise and clever, those who eat air are divine and long-lived, and those who do not eat are immortal and divine.
This qi is not the primordial qi of heaven and earth, but the innate qi!
The opening of the "Wu Zang Ben Jing" says: "When a person is born, he inherits the primordial qi of heaven and earth, which becomes spirit and form; he receives the qi of the primordial one, which becomes liquid and essence. If the heavenly qi is depleted, the spirit will dissipate; if the earthly qi is depleted, the form will become sick; if the primordial qi is depleted, life will end."
The existence of Yuanqi transforms people from walking corpses into conscious and soulful creatures.
With its passing comes aging and death.
Throughout the ages, countless people have tried to use various means to replenish "Yuan Qi" in order to prolong life or even achieve immortality, but true Qi is not Yuan Qi. Even if one's cultivation is earth-shattering, one is still subject to birth, aging, sickness and death. Except for those gods and saints who are said to have reached transcendence, there are no confirmed immortals in the world.
Even the medicine saint Sun Simiao, the creator of "The Original Classic of the Five Zang Organs", could not achieve immortality, but only achieved longevity.
He lived to be one hundred and sixty-five years old.
This "Five-Tibet Sutra" is the reason for his longevity.
The first half is an orthodox health-preserving method, similar to the methods known in the world, such as "speak less, think less, eat less, and sleep less naturally".
The second half is the "Eating Qi Method", whose full name is "Eating Qi to Replenish Organs Method". As the name suggests, since it is impossible to replenish the Original Qi directly, then we should replenish the five internal organs generated by the Original Qi.
——The five internal organs are used to store spirit, blood, energy, soul and spirit.
The heaven and the earth were created by primordial energy, all things were created by the heaven and the earth. All spiritual creatures in the world have "primordial energy", it's just a matter of quantity. As long as one gets the right method, one can absorb the life energy from it and feed it back to oneself, strengthening the five internal organs, so as to achieve the effect of regenerating organs and prolonging life.
This is not internal energy, but more like some kind of magic.
After reading the whole book, Zhao Wumian felt that this book might really have been written by Sun Simiao.
Because many theories are closely related to medicine.
It’s just that the second half of the method seems a bit strange, and it doesn’t seem like it came from the hand of the “Medicine Saint”.
Robbery and taking unconventional actions are obviously evil ways. The Medicine Saint should not use such methods...
Zhao Wumian thought that maybe Old Zhu and Zhu Biao also thought that this method was unreliable, so they didn't take it seriously. Besides, for them, if they wanted to prolong their life, they didn't need to rely on this unknown method. There were so many natural treasures in the world, maybe there was dragon essence, phoenix blood, immortality medicine, etc., they could just eat it directly...
This method of "eating Qi to replenish the internal organs" also has conditions. It requires "living" natural treasures so that it can absorb the vital energy and primordial Qi.
It is best to use spiritual plants such as Ganoderma lucidum and Snow ginseng, which do not have the turbid blood of humans and animals.
How long has the capital been built? Where can we get so many living, old natural treasures for people to absorb? If we want to transport them from other places, it will inevitably cost a lot of money and manpower. The most important thing is that we don’t know the origin of this magic, whether it is effective, who created it, and whether there are any side effects...
Zhao Wumian doesn't have so many concerns.
He only has two years left. Not to mention that this technique seems quite authentic, even if it is completely unorthodox, as long as it is useful, he should try it out. Only after he gets through the present can he think about the future, such as looking for the "Eternal Life Secret" - this technique is already mature, there are ready-made practitioners, and it is more reliable!
Relatively speaking, he has an advantage over Zhu Yuanzhang, Zhu Biao and others, that is, the panel. If the Qi-eating method is really useful, the effect can be directly displayed on the panel, and there is no need to worry about it being wasted.
"You can give it a try..."
Zhao Wumian thought to himself, "This natural treasure is not cheap... Especially when it's still alive. One red ginseng costs a hundred taels of gold... I have to find a way to make money..."
Zhao Wumian put away the secret book and hurried home.
After not seeing him for three days, Zhao Qi, Liuli and Xiaokui were all very worried. They only breathed a sigh of relief when they saw him walk into the courtyard safely.
"Just come back."
Zhao Qi knew that his appetite had increased greatly, so he specially prepared a large table of good wine and food.
At the dinner table, Zhao Wumian briefly explained what had happened in the past few days, and taught the first half of the "Five Tibetan Classics" to Zhao Qi, and taught Bai Liuli several moves of the "Blue Sea Calming Waves Palm".
After the last guidance, Bai Liuli has become more eager for strength, and his temperament has become more cheerful and resolute. Now he has the authentic martial arts of the mermaid clan, "Zhenlong Frost Flame", plus the mysterious grade [Jade Coral] given by Shen Weiyang, his strength has increased rapidly, and he has reached the seventh level of the first realm.
This speed is much faster than Zhao Wumian's before.
"That's right, brother!"
At the dinner table, Bai Liuli suddenly remembered something and said happily, "Liuli has made a new friend. It has been visiting me every night these days, and it even helped Xiaokui drive away a gyrfalcon yesterday!"
Xiaokui immediately flapped her wings and echoed: "New friend! New friend!"
Zhao Wumian was quite happy about this and asked with great interest: "Who is it? Be careful not to be fooled."
Bai Liuli shook his head: "Its name is Ali, it is a wind beast, very powerful, elusive! And its owner, Sister Shen, we wrote letters, Sister Shen knows many stories, and she also asked Ali to send me more than ten story books, which are very interesting."
Bai Liuli began to count on his fingers: "'Strange Tales of Ghosts and Foxes', 'Tales of the Heavenly Book', 'Legends of the Immortals', 'Records of the In Search of the Gods', 'Peach Blossom Fan', and there are illustrations on them, and they are all very beautiful."
"..."
Zhao Wumian's eyes twitched: "Shen Weiyang?"
Bai Liuli nodded: "Yes, she said she knew you. Dad said that she was the girl who was waiting for you at the door a few days ago."
At this point, she looked strange and whispered, "Brother, Sister Zhang came yesterday and asked you if the fight outside the door that day was because of Sister Shen..."
This is all a mess.
Zhao Wumian was full of black lines on his face: "Didn't I say it? That Gu Changge was just asking for trouble. It has nothing to do with others, and it's not about jealousy as rumored outside. Am I such a boring person?"
Bai Liuli smiled and shook his head repeatedly: "No!"
Zhao Wumian rubbed her head: "Making friends is a good thing, but it's not good for you to stay alone all the time."
Bai Liuli nodded.
Zhao Qi beside him took a bite of food and asked: "Is that girl Shen Wansan's adopted daughter?"
Zhao Wumian hummed.
Zhao Qi continued, "Gu Changge is targeting you because of her?" Zhao Wumian said, "Although Shen Weiyang is an adopted daughter, she is also very wealthy. There are many people eyeing her. Gu Changge regards her as a forbidden delicacy and pesters her because he is interested in her money and status. After all, no one can get away with money, and it is best to be connected with the 'God of Wealth', which will benefit him for the rest of his life."
Zhao Qi nodded to show that he understood, then suddenly thought of something and glanced at him, then glanced again.
Zhao Wumian didn't know whether to laugh or cry: "Just ask if you have anything to say."
Zhao Qi asked, "You think so too? That's why they came to you?"
Zhao Wumian was speechless: "What are you thinking! I have never met her many times. Besides, am I that kind of person?"
Zhao Qi looked him up and down and snorted, "It's hard to say, kid."
Zhao Wumian: “…”
Zhao Qi said sternly, "No matter what you think, using trickery to gain ill-gotten gains will only make people stab you in the back! You have been loyal to your country and your superiors, so it doesn't matter if you get a little bit of bad reputation, but you are not allowed to be cunning in this matter! Our Zhao family will not scheme against others for money, do you hear me!"
"Do not worry."
Zhao Wumian said: "I only have two requirements for a wife. Either she can make me immortal or she can make me invincible. I don't care about anything else."
"..."
Zhao Qi was stunned.
It’s over.
This seems to be worse than ill-gotten gains.
According to this standard, how can we find him a wife in the future?
Huhu——
There was a sound of wind outside the door, mixed with a sharp animal roar.
Bai Liuli's eyes lit up and he waved, "It's A Li! A Li, come in quickly."
Zhao Wumian waved his sleeves and the door opened.
A breeze blew in, and the wind-born beast Ahri took shape in front of the table. It jumped out from the wind and revealed its original form, a small green mink, which looked very cute.
It had two letters in its mouth, one for Bai Liuli and one for Zhao Wumian.
Bai Liuli's face was full of surprise: "A letter from Sister Shen!"
Zhao Wumian took his own letter and opened it to check. Shen Weiyang had made some brief greetings in the letter, mainly to inquire about Lu Chang's situation. He stated that Lu Chang was his elder and asked Zhao Wumian to help take care of him.
Zhao Wumian picked up a pen and sent a text message back, telling her that Lu Chang would be fine, that the emperor just found him annoying and told him to shut up and out of sight, out of mind. Besides, the prince had returned and would definitely take care of him, and that the Pacification Office would not be able to take advantage of Lu Chang, so there was no need to worry.
After writing the letter, give it to Ali.
Ahri turned into wind and disappeared, but came back soon with the second letter.
"..."
Bai Liuli had a strange look on his face: Is this still my friend?
Zhao Qi's expression also turned strange: Could it be that this girl from the Shen family is trying to be roundabout?
Zhao Wumian put down his chopsticks, opened the letter and saw that Lu Chang would be fine. Shen Weiyang's tone became noticeably more lively and she asked him where he planned to treat her to dinner.
Zhao Wumian thought about it, after all, he had borrowed the Qiankun bag, so he couldn’t just be perfunctory, so he went back to “Gufulou” and said the time was to be determined, and he would see the situation in a few days.
Fengshengshou took the letter back, and the other party seemed satisfied and never came back.
Gufulou is also one of the ten buildings in Nanjing. It is located in a relatively remote area and its price is in the middle. It is not as high as Zuixianlou, but it is not too low either. For a "poor guy" like Zhao Wumian, it is already quite respectful.
After dinner, Zhao Wumian practiced the Tiangang Yiqi with his feet on the Gang Steps, while Bai Liuli was also practicing in the Lengtan.
Silent all night.
The next day, when Zhao Wumian went to work, the first thing he did was to send the small flag officer who had been released by Bu Ranchen to the imperial prison.
——If Shi Sanjue hadn’t noticed it, Zhao Wumian would probably have been destroyed by him, so he attacked without mercy.
The young flag officer had been trembling with fear for several days. He had been worried since the moment he knew that Zhao Wumian was safe and sound. Now he no longer had to be afraid, but the result was naturally torture.
——Killing comrades is an unforgivable crime no matter which force you belong to.
The sounds of wailing and screaming were soon heard.
The Jinyiwei of the Zhenfu Division had a better understanding of Zhao Wumian's ruthlessness.
Today, the Zhenfu Division Prison is overcrowded, including the Five Evils of Yipintang, masters of the Vajra Sect, Fei Ming and Luo Qingquan of the Fei family, and Gu Changge, the nephew of Ji'an Marquis Lu Zhongheng. The more people are interrogated, the more people are arrested.
Old Zhu asked Zhao Wumian to help investigate the case, but in fact, it was not convenient for him to intervene. Fei Ming and Gu Changge were both people who were deeply implicated, and it was Zhao Wumian who sent them in. If he interrogated them personally and tortured them, it would be suspected of revenge. No matter how fair the testimony was, it might be a frame-up in the eyes of the government and the public. So he didn't touch them at all, and only tried the traitors in Yipintang. From the five villains, he found out about the Guanyin Temple on Mufu Mountain, and directly took people to flatten it.
For the next two days, Zhao Wumian spent his time in the imperial prison, reading books, playing chess and practicing martial arts as he did before.
Gu Changge has become well-behaved, and Fei Ming has also behaved himself after scolding him for a few days.
Because they found that the situation was developing in an irreversible direction.
The Marquis of Ji'an's Mansion requested for someone several times, but the Pacification Office ignored them!
As for the Pingliang Marquis Mansion, there was no sign of lifting the siege. Zhu Yuanzhang even personally ordered General Deng Yu to take over the 100,000-strong army, and ordered Governor Zhang Wen to "escort" Fei Ju, making it clear that he wanted to implicate everyone involved!
Everyone knows that a storm is coming!
Zhao Wumian was waiting to see the show, but unexpectedly, he was the first to get into trouble.
On the fourth day, after Zhao Wumian finished his work, he invited Shen Weiyang to have dinner at Gufulou, specifically to thank her for her generous act of lending him the Qiankun bag that day. Shen Weiyang had been waiting for him to treat her, and she smiled and showed her support.
But just as the two of them sat down and hadn't ordered yet, the wind-born beast suddenly came running in, broke through the window and went upstairs, chirping and yelling at Zhao Wumian.
Zhao Wumian noticed something was wrong and asked in a deep voice, "What did it say?"
The wind-born beast recognized Shen Weiyang as its master and had a telepathic connection with her. Shen Weiyang listened for a while, then stood up and said anxiously, "Something happened at your home!"
Zhao Wumian rushed out of the private room and went home without saying a word.
Shen Weiyang and Fengshengshou followed closely behind.
When Zhao Wumian returned home, the scene before him made him extremely angry - the entire courtyard was split in two, as if it had been chopped in half by a giant knife. The dozens of feet long knife light left a mark several feet deep on the ground. The courtyard, which was still intact in the morning, had now collapsed into ruins with walls and houses collapsed!
The only thing to be thankful for was that Zhao Qi and Bai Liuli were only slightly injured and were not in serious condition.
There was only the old horse in the stable, cut into pieces and covered in blood!
This is a warning!
Zhao Qi looked at the horse's corpse, his face full of sadness, and sighed deeply.
Bai Liuli and Xiaokui were equally covered in dust and were still frightened.
Zhao Wumian took a deep breath, looked at Zhao Qi, and said calmly, "Who did it?"
