As the squad continued, they encountered two more attacks.
However, in both instances, all enemies were killed, and Feng Zheng had no chance to fight.
Feng Zheng wondered.
"Does this country have so many rogue Ninja? Or did Orochimaru exert his influence here? After all, with the Daimyo still in power, it should be impossible for him to create a Hidden Village. Then again, secretly killing the Daimyo shouldn't be a big problem for him."
Feng Zheng couldn't come to any conclusion, so he dismissed the thought.
The next day, they reached their destination and completed the mission.
Without delay, the Konoha squad immediately set off back to Konoha.
As they ran across the tree branches, Yuan Feibao asked.
"Feng Zheng, what do you think of this mission?"
Feng Zheng said.
"Hmm... a bit boring."
Yuan Feibao smiled at the answer. He said.
"Yes. Most missions are boring. If we always had exciting missions, we wouldn't live long."
Feng Zheng thought.
"Yes, that's true. But it was still very boring."
Liang Tai said.
"Most Rank B missions are like this. Our missions are often interrupted by rogue Genin and Chunin, who are easily killed."
Yuan Feibao added.
"If a mission involves rogue Jonin or Ninja from other major villages, it would be classified as a Rank A or Rank S mission, or handled by Anbu."
Feng Zheng nodded and said.
"Yes, that makes sense."
Yuan Feibao said.
"Don't worry, I'll give you more room to perform in future missions."
Feng Zheng smiled and thanked him. However, he sighed in his heart.
"What's the point of fighting such enemies? They died before they even saw me! It's fine for now, but after completing my training plan, I need to undertake better missions."
The team returned to Konoha smoothly and split the bonus equally. They had a group dinner before heading home.
Yuan Feibao asked everyone to meet again at the mission center in a week.
After Feng Zheng returned home, he began Meditation when he heard a knock on the door. He thought to himself.
"Who would visit at this hour?"
He opened the door and saw a familiar face. This person worked at Eiji's shop. He said.
"Feng Zheng-kun, your house is complete. Lord Eiji wants to take you to see it tomorrow at nine in the morning."
Feng Zheng replied.
"Oh, that's great. I'll be there. Thank you."
The messenger nodded and left. Feng Zheng thought to himself.
"It's finished right after my mission, how timely."
The next day, after finishing his morning training, Feng Zheng went to the land he had bought. When Feng Zheng arrived and saw his new house, Feng Zheng thought.
"Wow! This is amazing!"
The house in front of him was three stories high, circular in shape, and quite massive. A circular fence had been built around the house.
The rest of his land was planted with trees, making the surroundings of the house look beautiful.
As Feng Zheng admired his house, Eiji arrived. He asked.
"Are you captivated by its beauty?"
Feng Zheng smiled.
"Brother, well done!"
Eiji smiled, handed him a key, and said.
"I finished building it three days ago, but you seemed to be out on a mission."
Feng Zheng thought to himself.
"Uh. Did that guy come to check on my old house every night?"
He nodded and said.
"Yes, I only returned last night."
Eiji said.
"Let me show you the inside of the house."
Feng Zheng took the key and walked into the house.
The first floor was very large. Upon entering, there was a circular room on the left. In the center was a large round table, with multiple sofas between the table and the walls. In addition, there was a kitchen and several restrooms on this floor. In the center of the floor, there was a circular staircase.
The remaining space on this floor was open. Eiji placed a dining table, a few chairs, and several flower pots in appropriate positions, adding to the aesthetic.
After checking the ground floor, Feng Zheng prepared to inspect the upper floors. The area of the upper floors decreased successively.
There were 5 rooms on the first floor and 3 rooms on the second floor. The top floor was an open terrace.
One room on the first floor and one on the second floor each had appropriate furniture and could be considered bedrooms. The remaining rooms were all empty.
Feng Zheng looked at his house and commented in his heart.
"This money was well spent. However, I don't need so many rooms at the moment. But it's good to have extra space if I need it in the future. Anyway, now I should check the more important things."
Feng Zheng and Eiji walked down the stairs to the basement.
The basement also had two floors. If these two floors were included, Feng Zheng's house would be five stories high!
The space around the stairs on the first basement floor was small. There was a circular passage over 60 centimeters wide around the stairs. On the other side of this circular passage were eight rooms.
Feng Zheng inspected these rooms, and all of them were well-built. All rooms were empty except for a few lights and some extension cords for Feng Zheng to add electronic devices later.
Finally, they arrived at the lowest level of the basement. In stark contrast to the floors above, this basement level was completely open!
This floor only had a few pillars supporting the house above, but apart from the pillars, there was nothing else on this floor.
Eiji said.
"As you requested, this floor is completely open. And everything here is extremely sturdy and has been further reinforced by a Seal Master."
Feng Zheng nodded and began to gather Chakra, performing Wind Release: Great Breakthrough Technique.
Feng Zheng suddenly exhaled a powerful gust of wind from his mouth. The wind was rapid, blowing towards all the pillars and walls. No scratches appeared.
Eiji, standing beside Feng Zheng, was surprised. The high-speed wind hit the walls, and some of it reflected back. He found it difficult to stand steady. He exclaimed.
"What are you doing?"
Feng Zheng smiled and waved his hand. He then used Gale Palm Technique to calm the wind. He said.
"Excellent. Although this is one of my weaker Ninjutsu, this room is very sturdy. Thanks again."
Eiji barely managed to say.
"Alright. But don't try to kill me again."
Feng Zheng laughed.
Eiji said.
"I have built the house according to our plan and even placed the furniture as you requested. If you need anything in the future, or want to add furniture to the remaining rooms, you can come to my shop."
Feng Zheng nodded. Eiji left the house, leaving Feng Zheng alone in his new house.
After sending Eiji off, Feng Zheng inspected his house again. This time, he focused his Chakra in his eyes and scrutinized everything.
Half an hour later, he concluded.
"Alright. It seems I was a bit too cautious, but there doesn't seem to be any problem with the house. And all the walls are as sturdy as Eiji promised. Anyway, now that I have my own house, I can finally start my plan. However, I first need to clean the house."
As Feng Zheng was thinking this, the wind began to blow around him. The wind gently swept through his entire house, gathering most of the dust and dirt and leaving his house.
Then, Feng Zheng created as many Shadow Clones as possible, and they worked together to clean the house thoroughly.
When his house became very clean, Feng Zheng closed the door and began to carve Sealing Jutsu on his new house.
Over the past three months, Feng Zheng had repeatedly considered whether to cover his new house with Sealing Jutsu.
After some analysis, he summarized the pros and cons of doing so. He concluded.
"If I don't carve Sealing Jutsu on my new house, my Sealing Technique ability can remain a secret for a long time. This is the only advantage. Otherwise, any Hyuga Clan member passing by could inspect my house. If I'm unlucky, or if someone wants to monitor me, my Lightning Release training and other things I intend to keep secret might be exposed."
"On the other hand, if I carve Sealing Jutsu in my house, my Sealing Technique skills will be easily exposed. I can lie and say that I hired a Sealing Master when building the house, but I can't be sure how long this lie will last. Also, others might think I have something to hide and might be more interested in my house."
"As for the positive side, Sealing Jutsu can protect my house, and I can do everything I want without worrying about the countless sensory abilities in this world."
After analyzing both situations, Feng Zheng decided.
"I will carve as many Sealing Jutsu on my house as possible! Anyway, I will eventually expose my Sealing Technique ability. So why not do it now? If Hiruzen or Renjiro ask me, I will tell them I used the Shadow Clone Technique and imply that I need Multiple Shadow Clone Technique. As for others, I will make some excuses."
