Chapter 49: Planning a training plan

He thought for a moment and decided.

“Alright, I’ll ignore this incident for now. This should not affect me in any way. Secondly, it’s about my strength. Although I lack experience right now, I can say that while I don’t have many Rank C Ninjutsu in my arsenal, my Ninjutsu should be at a Chunin level.”

The daily sparring with his Shadow Clone for the past three months helped Feng Zheng resolve many issues with his Ninjutsu. His Chakra reserves also increased rapidly.

Feng Zheng can now create 3 Shadow Clones that meet the requirements mentioned in the scroll. This means his Chakra level is also approaching Chunin level.

As for Taijutsu, Feng Zheng was confident he was stronger than most participants in the naruto Chunin Exams. But he still lost to that Hyuga Clan member in the graduation exam.

If we assume he and Hyuga Hodaka have reached Chunin level in Taijutsu, then it means Feng Zheng might have also reached that level.

In the worst-case scenario, Feng Zheng’s Taijutsu has probably reached the peak of Genin level.

But he really needed a better Taijutsu style. The only advantage he had in Taijutsu right now was his excellent physique for his age.

Feng Zheng felt his swordsmanship should improve after he learned the Samurai Sword Style. Its lethality should be much stronger than his Taijutsu, but swordsmanship also had its own weaknesses.

Wielding two swords meant Feng Zheng couldn't perform any Hand Seals. And Ninjutsu that require both hands, like Rasengan and Wind Blast Technique, couldn't be used.

But Feng Zheng thought that gaining mid-range slashes might compensate for this to some extent.

Anyway, he should think more about this issue after he learns the Samurai Sword Style.

Feng Zheng’s abilities as a Sensor Ninja also improved.

His Chakra Field could now extend over 750 meters.

Feng Zheng felt he could almost accomplish everything expected of a Sensor Ninja, although it would take a few years to master all these skills.

Feng Zheng’s current combat capabilities mainly revolved around 10 Ninjutsu — Body Flicker Technique, Wind Push Technique, Earth Army Movement Technique, Shadow Clone, Wind Clone, Great Breakthrough Technique, Wind Blast Technique, Gale Surge, Rock Shield Technique, and Projectile Control Technique.

Besides these, he also heavily relied on Chakra flow to enhance the power of his swords, kunai, and Shuriken.

Feng Zheng also knew Rasengan, but he hadn't been trained to use it in combat.

Although he had good ideas for using it, for now, he couldn't risk letting others know he possessed this Ninjutsu.

So, all in all, if Feng Zheng was willing to fully utilize all the skills he possessed, he would reach Chunin level, albeit barely.

At this stage, Feng Zheng might be able to defeat people like Uraki and Mizuki, but when facing stronger opponents like Adachi Genki or even Nakatani Michi, all he could do was run away.

Speaking of escape, with Feng Zheng’s Wind Clone and Shadow Clone, plus Body Flicker Technique, Earth Army Movement Technique, and his ability to conceal Chakra, escaping from an Elite Chunin might even be possible.

Unless it was someone specialized in tracking, it shouldn't be a problem.

In fact, if someone asked him what his best skill was right now, his answer would definitely be the art of escape!

As for what to do next, Feng Zheng needed to browse the C-section of the Library.

Feng Zheng had to learn Rank C Wind Release Ninjutsu. If there were any useful Rank C Earth Release Ninjutsu, he would learn those too.

Besides that, Feng Zheng also needed to learn a Rank C Genjutsu, and complete his current Sealing Jutsu scroll, then move on to the next one.

He concluded.

“Hmm, that should be enough. After this, I can focus on improving the Ninjutsu I already know. I also have Medical Ninjutsu I want to learn, but... sigh, my task list is already full. I’ll check it later.”

Satisfied with his immediate plan, he decided to start making long-term plans. He thought to himself.

“I’ve been here for almost five years now, and I have a deeper understanding of this world. With my physique and the speed of my Chakra growth, I am confident I can reach Jonin level.”

“And if the A-section of the Library has good Ninjutsu, then becoming an Elite Jonin won't be a problem. But how do I surpass Elite Jonin and become as strong as a Hokage?”

He seriously considered this question. Half an hour later, he concluded.

“Perhaps my simplest method is to learn Sage Mode.”

The second method was to learn Might Guy’s Eight Gates Formation.

However, this would require Feng Zheng to establish a good relationship with Might Guy to have him teach Feng Zheng this.

Moreover, he wasn't sure if he could learn it through sheer effort alone.

The third method was to somehow acquire Impure World Reincarnation and create his own army of Rank A and Rank S deceased Ninja.

The fourth method was to acquire and master the Flying Thunder God Technique.

The fifth method was to invent Feng Zheng’s own Ninjutsu of Rank A and above. Combined with high speed, enhanced strength, and superb swordsmanship, he might reach that level.

Another option might be to become a Jinchuriki.

However, this would put a target on his back from the Akatsuki Organization, which he didn't want.

But if Feng Zheng was strong enough, he could still take that risk. Acquiring some powerful summons would also help.

After reaching his conclusion, he sighed.

“Even the simplest methods are hard to achieve! I really wonder if I can reach that level.”

However, just then, Feng Zheng suddenly had a crazy idea.

He thought.

“That’s right. I can explore this option. But, can it really be done?”

He analyzed for a few more minutes and thought.

“I can’t be sure. But, if I can succeed, I will gain the means to become extremely powerful. Not to mention, I know exactly when I’ll have the right opportunity to acquire the necessary resources.”

He thought more, analyzed all possible scenarios, and decided.

“Okay, I must strive to achieve this goal. If successful, reaching Hokage-level won’t be a problem. Even if not, the effort put into it won’t be wasted!”

This idea invigorated him.

With little time left, he decided to have dinner first and meditate before sleeping.

---

The next few days were very busy for Hiruzen Sarutobi.

He needed to group the newly promoted Ninja and assign their instructors, which involved a lot of paperwork and analysis.

He not only needed to have extensive discussions with the school teachers but also communicate with the chosen squad teachers.

He started by forming three-person teams. He thought.

“This year, a total of 135 students became Genin. Over 200 students failed in the sixth grade, and they will be added to the Ninja reserve. As for those who passed this year, 94 from the sixth grade, there isn’t much hope. We already graduated the outstanding talents from the previous year. Even if only a quarter of them become Chunin, that’s enough. So I’ll assign Chunin to guide them.”
