Feng Zheng closed his eyes, calming himself down. He thought,
“The time has finally come for my first kill.”
Then Feng Zheng took a deep breath, and exhaled. He made a few Hand Seals, then disappeared into the ground.
At the entrance, two bandits were guarding boredly. One complained to the other,
“Why are we guarding here? I wish we could attack that Village again and capture a few more girls.”
The second bandit chuckled lewdly.
“Yeah, the girls we caught a few days ago were really fun! I can’t wait to…”
However, his words were cut short.
As he spoke, a sword emerged from the ground, thrusting towards his waist. It was a sword reinforced by Chakra flow.
Before the two bandits even noticed, the sword sliced through one of the bandits' waists, cutting him in half. He didn't even know how he died!
The remaining bandit panicked. His arm instinctively reached for his sword, trying to draw it.
But before he could grasp the sword, his head separated from his body.
After killing the two, Feng Zheng disappeared into the ground again, entering the cave.
The next two bandits were guarding the space between the hill entrance and another entrance inside the mountain. They stood with their backs against the wall, facing each other.
Feng Zheng passed through the hill, directly piercing one bandit’s heart.
The bandit opposite saw a sword emerge from the chest of the bandit in front of him, and prepared to shout.
However, before he could shout to attract attention, a Shuriken flew straight at him, piercing his throat, killing him instantly.
Feng Zheng passed through the ground again, avoiding the holes dug by the bandits.
He had now entered the bandits' main hideout. He stealthily observed through the wall and saw the three small caves Hodaka had mentioned.
Where he was now, there were twelve bandits. The remaining seven were in those three small caves, which made him wonder, “Are they the leaders?”
He then carefully observed the twelve bandits.
Four people were sleeping in the corner. Two seemed busy with something. One was intently looking at something, while the other was sharpening a knife. The remaining six were drinking and playing cards.
Feng Zheng moved through the ground, heading towards the bandit who was sharpening his knife.
He appeared behind him and cut off his head.
Before the head even hit the ground, Feng Zheng moved towards the bandit who was looking at the map. He thrust a sword directly into his heart, then quickly pulled it out.
Just then, the head and knife of the previous person fell to the ground with a loud thud. This attracted the attention of the six people who were drinking.
Seeing their comrade's severed head, they were shocked and terrified. However, before they could make a move, Feng Zheng had already flashed behind them.
Soon, he cleanly cut off two more heads. Before they knew what was happening, he cut off two more heads. Only the last two bandits saw Feng Zheng, but they were killed before they could do anything.
Two of the six bandits had wine bottles in their hands, and the bottles smashed to the ground. The noise woke up two of the four sleeping bandits.
One of them ignored the noise and simply changed his sleeping position. But the other stood up to see what was happening.
However, before he could fully open his eyes, his head was cut off by Feng Zheng. Soon, Feng Zheng also thrust his sword into the throat of the man who had turned around, followed by piercing the hearts of the remaining two.
He then disappeared into the ground again, entering one of the three small caves.
The first cave had two bandits, who were quickly pierced through the heart.
In the second cave, Feng Zheng sensed three people. Feng Zheng quickly entered the cave and stabbed through the heart of the person resting against the wall.
He moved quickly again, preparing to kill the second person lying on the ground.
However, his sword stopped a few inches from her chest. Lying there was a teenage girl, naked, bruised, and bleeding from multiple wounds.
He quickly shifted his attention to the other person in the room.
The appearance of the young girl unsettled Feng Zheng, and he was momentarily stunned for half a second.
This gave the bandit an opportunity to grab his sword and charge at Feng Zheng. Feng Zheng merely raised his left sword to block his attack, while his other sword pierced the bandit's heart.
He decided to enter the last small cave, but then heard a shout. The last bandit yelled,
“Damn it! Who wasted my good wine? This is…”
However, his words caught in his throat when he saw the bloodstains in the hideout.
All he saw were the heads and bodies of the bandits. He saw the blood flowing on the ground, and his heart jumped. He asked with a trembling voice,
“Wh…”
But before he could finish his sentence, a sword pierced his heart from behind.
Feng Zheng pulled the sword from the corpse and created a Shadow Clone.
The Shadow Clone went out to report to Renjiro and told them to come in. He, meanwhile, began to clean the blood from his sword.
Finally, as he cleaned his sword, he looked up at the corpses in front of him, and the twelve corpses in the hideout. The sight and stench made him immediately vomit. He thought,
“Holy crap, sure enough, the first kill is a big deal. I didn't feel anything while killing them. But now…”
He vomited a lot and trembled all over from what he had done.
Just as he started to vomit, Renjiro’s Shadow Clone emerged from the ground and asked,
“Are you alright?”
After Feng Zheng finished vomiting, he nodded. He got up and sat in the corner. Renjiro said,
“It's okay, the first kill is always difficult. You will have to kill more people in the future.”
Feng Zheng nodded. Renjiro said,
“Close your eyes and calm yourself down.”
Feng Zheng listened to Renjiro, closed his eyes, and began to clear his thoughts.
At this moment, the Shadow Clone came to Renjiro and reported the success of the mission to him.
Then Renjiro took Hodaka and Mieko to the cave.
Upon reaching the entrance, Mieko and Hodaka finally saw the corpses and smelled the stench.
Hodaka suppressed the urge to vomit, but Mieko couldn't, and she vomited on the spot. Renjiro saw it, but said nothing.
Renjiro used Earth Spear Jutsu to disarm all the traps and said,
“Follow me.”
They followed him into the interior of the cave. Mieko and Hodaka tried their best to ignore the two corpses there.
However, after entering the main hideout and seeing the twelve corpses and several heads, they couldn't bear it. Mieko vomited again, and this time Hodaka also vomited.
Renjiro waited for them and said,
“These are just corpses, people killed by others. If you can't even stop vomiting, how can you become Ninja? If just this scene makes you kneel, how can you become Ninja?”
These words invigorated Mieko and Hodaka, and they stood up.
