Chapter 8: Magic: The Art of Seeing Naraku

Seeing that Feng An had completely left, Hinata entered the house and carefully bolted the door.

She tiptoed towards the inner room.

"Hinata."

A deep voice came from a man's mouth.

Hinata immediately lowered her head and walked over: "Father."

A man was sitting in the hallway with his arms crossed in front of him, seemingly having been there for a long time.

The man was Hinata's father, Hyuga Hiashi.

"That young man just now was Feng An, wasn't he?"

Hinata nodded: "Yes."

It turned out that Hyuga Hiashi had already activated his Byakugan and seen everything that had just happened.

Fortunately, Feng An hadn't gotten touchy, otherwise Hyuga Hiashi would have surely rushed out to suppress and kill him.

Hyuga Hiashi pulled Hinata into his embrace and said, "I understand that you have feelings for him because he saved you when you were little."

"But you are the daughter of Hyuga Hiashi, and you are destined to uphold the future of the Hyuga Clan. He is not the most suitable person for you."

When Hinata was mocked as a Byakugan monster in her childhood, the red-haired Feng An, who had been waiting in a tree for a long time, jumped down and easily chased away those foul-mouthed little boys. That scene was deeply etched in Hinata's mind.

Hinata pulled out of his embrace, raised her fair face, met Hyuga Hiashi's gaze, then quickly looked away.

"Father, Neji is so excellent, why can't we place our hopes on him?"

"You are from the Main Family, Neji is from the Branch Family. The Branch Family exists to protect the Main Family!"

Hyuga Hiashi seemed a bit angry, stood up, and flicked his sleeves behind him.

As he turned to leave, Hyuga Hiashi sighed, "This is the way of life for our Hyuga Clan. In any case, you and Feng An should reduce your interactions."

"I'm sorry, this time I... will not follow your arrangements, Father."

Hinata's eyes were red, but her gaze was firm as she walked towards her room.

She didn't understand how important the so-called family honor and family future in Hyuga Hiashi's words truly were. She clearly knew that her Neji had been extremely talented since childhood, while her own talent was ordinary. Even with more effort, she couldn't surpass Neji.

Yet, fate had placed her in the Hyuga Main Family, living with the identity of a Hyuga heir since she was young.

Hearing what Hinata said, Hyuga Hiashi clenched his fists, a hint of sternness and reluctance appearing on his face.

Before this, Hyuga Hiashi had already considered training the more talented Hyuga Hanabi as an heir, and now, seeing Hinata's behavior, he became even more determined to make Hanabi the heir of the Hyuga Clan.

If Hinata could be a bit more resilient, even if her talent wasn't outstanding, Hiashi wouldn't choose to establish the younger over the elder.

"But that kid's red hair... an orphan of the Uzumaki Clan? If it's the Uzumaki Clan now, it's still not enough."

...On the other side, Feng An had already returned to his small house.

He didn't go to sleep immediately, but instead refined the Fire and Earth Chakra from his body cells, drawing them into his Dantian to fuse.

As the two equally blue Chakras in his Dantian slowly began to spin, a small vortex appeared.

The fusion of the two Chakras seemed to produce a new Chakra nature transformation, but it was only a tiny bit, and once he tried to use these fused Fire and Earth Chakras, they would dissipate.

"As expected, it still failed."

Feng An had been conducting such research for two and a half years, but had yet to achieve substantial results.

The experiment he was conducting was in pursuit of a Bloodline Limit that was theoretically possible but practically only achievable through bloodline inheritance.

But he always felt that as long as one possessed the corresponding Chakra natures, it might be possible to master a Bloodline Limit, or even a Bloodline Trait, later in life.

He had tried countless times, simulating situations like releasing and then fusing, but all had failed.

One time, a sudden thought struck him: what would happen if he used the body's acupoints to fuse two types of Chakra natures?

After extensive experimentation, he found that this indeed could give rise to new Chakra nature transformations. The only pity was that he had not yet successfully retained the nature changes produced.

Years of experimentation had made it a habit for him to do it once before going to bed every day.

"Today must be the most exhausting day I've had in all these years..."

"But it was certainly more fulfilling."

In the past, he would usually spend his day wandering around and enjoying the scenery.

Feng An took a shower, lay on his bed, and quickly fell into a dream... The next day.

Team 8, plus Feng An, were training at the training ground.

Kurenai Yuhi pointed out their problems and had them train according to their weaknesses.

After assigning tasks to the others, Kurenai Yuhi looked at Feng An.

"You..."

In yesterday's mission, Feng An was the only one who didn't show any obvious areas for enhanced training.

"Go play by yourself."

"???"

Feng An complained, "I've called you Teacher Kurenai all day, and you're just going to brush me off like this?"

Kurenai Yuhi squatted down and smiled, pinching his little cheek.

"I'm not good at powerful Ninjutsu suitable for you. Would you like to learn Genjutsu?"

"Yes!"

"Alright, then come with me this way."

Kurenai Yuhi walked in front, and Feng An followed behind. He completely failed to notice Kurenai Yuhi's hand movements at that moment.

Let's see how long it takes you to wake up. Genjutsu cannot be mastered simply through training.

"Demonic Illusion: Hell Viewing Technique."

As Feng An walked, he suddenly realized that Kurenai Yuhi in front of him had disappeared.

"Where's Teacher Kurenai?"

He scratched his head, looked back, and found that Hinata and Inuzuka Kiba were also gone.

What's going on?

Just as he walked an unknown distance further, a white light flashed before his eyes, and a tempting scene entered his mind.

It was a group of sexily dressed women, all beautiful without exception, and he basically knew all their names.

Hinata, Kurenai Yuhi, Tenten, Tsunade, Konan, Chiyo, Mei Terumī, Temari, Mikoto... It made his eyes dizzy.

He swallowed hard.

Unlike usual, they had shed their Ninja outfits and were wearing various swimsuits!

All he could see was vast expanses of white, a sight he had never witnessed before.

As the sensory Ninja among them discovered his presence, they all rushed towards him. Several women, like Hinata, ran with a 'duang-duang' sound, making Feng An's eyes nearly pop out.

"Lord Feng An~~~"

Sultry, sweet voices rose and fell.

Where is this? Have I stumbled into paradise?!

Just as he opened his arms to embrace them, Chiyo, who was running at the very front with drool, suddenly cut him off at the waist!

Blood splattered on his face.

Before he could even understand what had happened, the paradise of a second ago had suddenly become hell.

All the female Ninja were fighting over him—no, not fighting, but slaughtering each other!

Kurenai Yuhi, Tenten, Temari, Mikoto... Soon, a large number of women shouting Feng An's name lay in pools of blood.

This was the true battlefield of carnage!

"Feng An belongs only to me. You can forget about sharing him with me."

Finally, only Hinata remained, her body covered in blood.

She stood in the pool of blood, her hands clasped in front of her chest, blinking shyly: "Feng An, you belong only to me..."
