“Is this the greer stone?” Uchiha Tenxiu squinted, staring incredulously at the fragment in his hand, as if it were a rare treasure. He carefully held the fragment, feeling the powerful life force emanating from it. The energy was like a blazing flame; though contained and not outwardly visible, it surged powerfully within his perception.
As an all-around Ninja, Uchiha Tenxiu’s self-developed perception was extremely astute. Even though this fragment firmly locked its life energy within the stone, it still couldn't escape Uchiha Tenxiu’s powerful perception.
Uchiha Tenxiu mused to himself, “Setting aside the potential shortcomings of this energy as an offensive means, its sheer energy intensity is at least equivalent to the total Chakra of several Jonin, and that’s even the kind with Chakra limitations removed!”
“And this, astonishingly, is just a fragment! It’s truly incredible; I can’t imagine what kind of power an entire, complete greer stone would possess.”
Uchiha Tenxiu was full of admiration; he couldn't imagine how much immense energy a complete greer stone would contain.
Then, Uchiha Tenxiu turned his head, his gaze falling upon those who had been completely hypnotized by his Sharingan. These lost survivors were now like puppets, devoid of self-awareness, entirely obedient to Uchiha Tenxiu’s control.
At the same time, the bodies of the bandits lay scattered on the ground, their lives utterly extinguished. Clearly, faced with this clue to the greer stone that had come directly to him, Uchiha Tenxiu didn't hesitate in the slightest, decisively eliminating these bandit onlookers to prevent future trouble.
Having resolved his concerns, Uchiha Tenxiu immediately began questioning the hypnotized individuals. He could directly manipulate their thoughts to obtain any information he desired.
As for acting like a righteous gentleman and directly asking them, Uchiha Tenxiu didn’t believe they would reveal such secrets. After all, even with the life-saving grace, the mere fact that they could endure such a life of exposure to the elements and wandering, yet ignore the greer stone mine without excavating and utilizing it for change, was enough to show how deeply ingrained their traditions were.
Either they were stubborn, clinging tightly to their ancestors' teachings, like the foolish Eldian royal family in the world of giants, believing that great power was a sin and that they must cripple themselves, or that they must live peacefully with others—a delusional dream, truly a scourge and a supreme fool.
Or, they had the will but lacked the power!
Even if someone had an awakening thought and wanted to use this ore to reverse their current predicament, they would be powerless.
“However, it seems now that it’s both!”
“Through my hypnotic questioning, this wandering clan has come to view hardship as a kind of faith, believing that this nomadic existence is their tribal tradition. Therefore, most people had no intention of excavating the ore. A small number, even after facing setbacks, wanted to change, but although they knew where the mine was buried, they had no way to excavate it. The area was enveloped by a powerful sealing array, and these people had long lost their so-called sealing abilities.”
“Secondly, for the mine itself to be safely opened, the cooperation of the royal family is also necessary, otherwise, its safety might not be so stable. Furthermore, there is the greer stone of the greer stone, which records all their methods for utilizing the greer stone. Without this, they cannot use this ore, nor have they considered using other methods.”
“From this point of view, both the royal family of this clan and the greer stone were taken away.”
“They are only left with the buried location of the mine and a small amount of greer stone, which they cannot utilize!”
“So, isn't this just a windfall for me!”
Uchiha Tenxiu muttered to himself, placing the greer stone fragment in his backpack.
Then, Uchiha Tenxiu looked at the ferret from which he had taken the greer stone fragment, ignoring its posture of arching its back and baring its claws while lying on the ground, as well as the hostility in its eyes. He walked up to the leader of the caravan and made him hand over all the greer stone hidden in his backpack.
Hmm!
Another five complete greer stones appeared.
“Hmm, not bad. With these greer stones, it’s already enough to treat Yukino’s illness. As for the rest of the greer stone mine itself, I’ll leave that for later!”
Uchiha Tenxiu thought with a pleased expression.
He had no intention of immediately acquiring the mine, whether due to the need for a massive amount of manpower for development or the hidden dangers within. Uchiha Tenxiu knew that to seal such a massive energy mine, its sealing level would not be low.
“After all, just from its performance in the original plot, there’s also a hidden Space-Time Hole within. This powerful space-time sealing jutsu is more than ten times stronger than Tailed Beast sealing. Once sucked in, one would simply disappear into a different space-time!”
This was no small challenge for him.
Although he was called an all-around Ninja, among all Ninja paths, sealing jutsu was a relatively weak path for the Uchiha Clan itself, still lacking when compared to the Uzumaki Clan and the Senju Clan.
“However, if there’s a chance in the future, I might try to raid the Uzumaki Clan once!” A thought occasionally flashed through Uchiha Tenxiu’s mind, then he snapped back to reality, looking at the group of wandering people before him.
“Forget it, what if they’re useful later!”
Recalling some events from the original plot, Uchiha Tenxiu withdrew the killing intent from his eyes, intending to send them to Sword King Island. The ecosystem there was sufficient for their survival, and they could help him open up the wilderness.
As the genjutsu was dispelled.
Everyone immediately woke up.
Because Uchiha Tenxiu hadn't deliberately erased the memory of them being controlled, they were still able to recall some of what had happened after the genjutsu ended.
Facing Uchiha Tenxiu, the person who had saved them but then controlled them, most of those present showed wary and fearful gazes, their bodies trembling slightly as they leaned on each other, not daring to move.
Simply based on the series of combat abilities Uchiha Tenxiu had just displayed, how could these people, who couldn't even defeat bandit robbers, be Uchiha Tenxiu's opponents?
At this moment.
The caravan leader, Daxi Zi, like an ant on a hot pan, braced himself and, leading his timid son Heyan, cautiously stepped forward, his voice trembling as he slowly asked, “Ninja-sama, what do you intend to do with our gems? Such gems can bring disaster!”
“No, you’re mistaken. These are not your gems; they are mine.” Uchiha Tenxiu extended a finger as slender as a scallion, wiggling it before them, specifically pointing out.
Then, Uchiha Tenxiu looked at the people before him with a disdainful gaze, like looking at a flock of lambs waiting to be slaughtered, a sneer curling his lips as he said, “You have a mountain of treasure but no way to use it, nor do you think about how to solve that. You ostriches who only bury your heads in the sand, wouldn’t it be better to just hand over these treasures to me? Don’t worry, I won’t kill you.”
“After all, even a piece of scrap paper has its use. I will give you a new place to live!”
