Chapter 262: Who do you pick?

“Who is 2k?”

“Hoo…”

“Hoo…”

“Hoo…”

Jiang Shu lay on the equipment, constantly lifting the barbell with the help of the coach, breathing evenly as taught by the coach.

With another difficult push, the coach saw that Jiang Shu was exhausted, reached out to support the barbell, and then placed it on the equipment.

Just as the coach was about to say something, he saw the scene not far away, and then disappeared from Jiang Shu’s sight under his puzzled gaze.

Before Jiang Shu could sit up, a familiar face appeared in his vision.

“Who do you pick?”

Looking at Liu Zhimin’s inverted, delicate face, a bewildered expression appeared in Jiang Shu’s eyes.

“What do you mean, ‘pick who’?” Jiang Shu said, sitting up from the equipment and turning to look at Liu Zhimin.

Liu Zhimin had changed her hairstyle; she had just gotten a big wave perm for her schedule, and as soon as she walked in, Jiang Shu smelled the fragrance on her.

They say beautiful women are always fragrant and soft. How fragrant and soft Liu Zhimin was, even after a year of separation, Jiang Shu still remembered vividly.

Looking at the increasingly beautiful girl in front of him, the corners of Jiang Shu’s mouth quietly curved upward without him even noticing.

“It’s about who you support between ITZY and IZONE. That’s the hottest topic online right now,” Liu Zhimin explained.

“I’m IZONE’s producer, so of course, I support IZONE,” Jiang Shu said with a smile.

“Is that so? Then I support ITZY!” Liu Zhimin hummed twice.

“Why?” Jiang Shu pretended to be curious as he looked at Liu Zhimin. “No matter how you look at it, IZONE has a higher chance of winning, right?”

“Xiao Yuan is in IZONE, so supporting the opposite side is in line with my position,” Liu Zhimin’s reason was always so unique, leaving Jiang Shu stunned.

So Liu Yuan cannot coexist, that’s what it was.

“Why did you suddenly come looking for me?” Jiang Shu smiled, changing the subject.

“I was just passing by,” Liu Zhimin said, sticking out her neck.

“Passing by, huh?” Jiang Shu didn’t expose her. “Since you’re passing by, want to work out together?”

“No,” Liu Zhimin shook her head decisively. “My workout for today is enough.”

Artists seem very diligent, but that’s because they have no choice. If you’re not diligent, you’ll gain weight. If they could lie down all day without gaining weight and losing shape, artists would be happy to do so.

“Alright then,” Jiang Shu nodded. “A new pork bone restaurant just opened. Want to go try it together?”

“It’s too spicy, I’ll get acne, no,” Liu Zhimin refused.

“Haidilao?”

“Too many people, easy to get photographed, no.”

“Fried chicken?”

“Too many calories, requires more exercise to make up for it, no.”

Jiang Shu’s mouth twitched.

“You don’t eat this, you don’t eat that. What do you eat at night?”

“You’re right, I don’t eat anything at night,” Liu Zhimin grinned and replied.

Jiang Shu: “…”

“I approve you to eat tonight. Come have dinner with me.”

“No!” Liu Zhimin refused again, but as she refused, her eyes were fixed on Jiang Shu, almost writing the words “Let me go” on his face.

“No, you must go. I order you as the president,” Jiang Shu said, deliberately deepening his tone with feigned seriousness.

Liu Zhimin’s eyes lit up, but she snorted coldly on the surface.

“What a demanding president! Fine, I’ll go!”

Jiang Shu was speechless. Being tsundere is so out of style, kid.

But then again, she was someone he had brought up, so he indulged her.

“I’m going to rinse off. You find a place to wait for me,” Jiang Shu stood up and said to Liu Zhimin.

“Got it.”

Her big eyes stared at Jiang Shu’s retreating back, she hummed twice, and a bright smile appeared on her face, but the smile immediately faded, and she rubbed her face with her hand.

“No, no! Absolutely not!”

Liu Zhimin mumbled to herself, then turned and walked outside.

Jiang Shu rinsed off and changed his clothes. All of this took only a little over ten minutes. When he arrived at the lobby on the first floor, he easily spotted Liu Zhimin sprawled on the sofa in the lounge area in a ‘Ge You slouch’ pose.

Jiang Shu walked over, and as he got closer, he placed his hand on Liu Zhimin’s head.

Liu Zhimin, who was scrolling through videos, suddenly had her head pressed down, which startled her. She shuddered and instantly sat up from her slumped position.

After seeing that it was Jiang Shu, her small mouth immediately pouted.

“You scared me!”

Jiang Shu took his hand away and smiled indifferently.

“I’m helping you train your courage.”

“So should I thank the president?”

“Of course.”

Liu Zhimin rolled her eyes and scoffed.

Jiang Shu chuckled and glanced at the staff on the other side who were peeking over. A few gossiping staff members were startled by Jiang Shu’s glance and immediately bowed to him.

It was true that DM Entertainment offered the best benefits to its staff in the industry, but the deeply ingrained hierarchy within DM Entertainment was also deeply rooted.

Throughout the entire company, Liu Zhimin was the only one who dared to speak to Jiang Shu like that. Even Zhang Yuanying used honorifics when speaking with Jiang Shu.

“What are we eating?” Liu Zhimin didn’t notice Jiang Shu’s gaze. She looked at her phone, then put it away and asked.

“Fried chicken. I feel like having some beer,” Jiang Shu smacked his lips. He hadn’t had beer in a while, and he really missed it.

“I’m not drinking, though,” Liu Zhimin immediately looked at Jiang Shu warily.

“I didn’t ask you to drink,” Jiang Shu said helplessly. “I’ll need you to drive me home after dinner.”

“Oh, oh,” Liu Zhimin couldn’t help but nod when she heard this. “Then let’s go.”

“Do you have a driver’s license?”

“Of course.”

Jiang Shu was relieved to hear that. He went with Liu Zhimin to the parking lot at the entrance, and then, under Liu Zhimin’s bewildered gaze, he sat in the passenger seat.

“Get in,” Jiang Shu called out to Liu Zhimin, who was standing outside the car, from the passenger seat.

“You haven’t had any alcohol yet. Should I drive now?” Liu Zhimin asked, pointing to herself.

“I want to see your driving skills first,” Jiang Shu said with a smile.

He had seen Bae Joo-hyun’s driving skills, but Liu Zhimin’s were still a question mark. He wanted to check her skills while he was still sober.

To avoid any incidents if he got drowsy after drinking at night.

Beer wouldn’t knock him out, but it did make him sleepy.

“Hmph! My driving skills are the best in DM!” Liu Zhimin confidently got into the driver’s seat, and then…

“Where do I adjust the seat?”

Jiang Shu chuckled and pointed to Liu Zhimin’s left side.

Soon, she found the position.

“Your car is a bit high,” Liu Zhimin stretched her philtrum, peered outside, her tone carrying a hint of nervousness she didn’t even notice.

Jiang Shu watched with a smile, saying nothing, just observing.

Liu Zhimin pursed her lips and started the car.
