Chapter 10: A Knife of Horror

Su Ming still took off this incredibly flashy outfit.

He could already imagine the spectacular scene of wearing this outfit, swaggering through the streets, and being chased and surrounded by girls everywhere.

Perhaps, being a star isn't bad?

But Su Ming had not a shred of good feeling for that hypocritical World of fame and fortune.

He abandoned the idea in an instant.

Old Tailor's craftsmanship was truly exceptional; this scarlet suit was simply a work of art. Paired with the silver-carved mask, it was like adding the finishing touch, elevating the style several times over.

I'll save it for missions where I need to hide my identity...

Staying low-key usually isn't wrong.

...

Afu Khan, Kunar Province.

Under Obadiah's arrangement, Su Ming arrived at the location where Tony had demonstrated the Jericho Missile.

Looking at the mountain range in the distance, flattened by the missile, Su Ming sighed, feeling that it was best to stay far away from things like missiles.

At this moment, the phone rang, and Obadiah's furious voice came through:

"These untrustworthy scoundrels, they've imprisoned Tony—what's the difference between that and protecting him?

Damn it~

Why didn't they kill him!?

Mr. Destiny, I request that you immediately go to their armed Base and eliminate Tony! It would be best to get rid of all those damned Terrorists from the Ten Rings Gang along with him!"

He hung up the phone after speaking.

So, the plot has already progressed to this point?

There are quite a few people coveting Tony Stark!

Those fools in the Ten Rings Gang are still delusional enough to threaten Tony into making Jericho Missiles for them?

Even if I don't act, Tony will deal with them all.

I originally planned to make my move after Tony was kidnapped, and I thought I'd have to wait a few more days in this godforsaken place.

Now, it seems the timing is just right.

He unhurriedly changed into the scarlet suit, put on the mask, and, following the general direction provided by Obadiah, strode away, leaving a trail of dust.

The driver beside him watched as this mysterious Eastern young man, after changing clothes, seemed like a completely different person, his aura so dazzling that he couldn't look directly at him.

"Son of the Beach! How can a person be this handsome?!"

While he was still fiercely envious of Su Ming's appearance, a strong wind swept up yellow sand and blew it directly into his face.

"Cough, cough~"

As the sandstorm dissipated, the driver stood dumbfounded:

"WHAT THE F...? People... where are they?"

...

This was the first time Su Ming had run at full speed after maximizing his Level 1 Physique Enhancement to 5 tiers.

The air pressure behind him formed a whirlwind, carrying yellow sand and gradually stretching out behind Su Ming, looking like Su Ming's golden cloak from a distance.

After running for nearly two hours, Su Ming only felt his speed getting faster and faster—of course, the speed was still far from that of the Flash.

A speed of just over 100km/h might not be much here, but one must remember that Su Ming achieved this speed on two legs in the desert.

Without having exchanged for the Flash's talent, it could be said to have reached a certain height.

When a small valley appeared before his eyes, Su Ming's lips curved upward:

"Finally found it..."

Obadiah had only given him a general direction, and Su Ming, relying on his extraordinary physical ability and vision, managed to find it after nearly two hours of searching.

Su Ming saw scattered miscellaneous soldiers distributed inside and outside the valley, with various weapons and ammunition piled casually to one side, all spray-painted with Stark Industries logos of varying sizes.

"Not only did they kidnap Stark with weapons made by Stark, but they also want to continue to threaten Stark with Stark's weapons to make weapons for them—it's quite ridiculous."

Perhaps Tony Stark himself thought the same.

Walking to a position about 3 kilometers away, Su Ming stopped.

The scarlet suit was like a rose blooming in the barren desert, exceptionally striking. But the people of the Ten Rings Gang did not have Su Ming's long-distance vision and did not perceive anything.

Sweeping his super-long-range vision over the forces in the valley, Su Ming slowly drew out a throwing knife.

He wanted to test the power of the throwing knife.

Now was the time.

When his pupils shifted, locking onto a certain direction.

Su Ming moved.

There wasn't much movement; he raised his hand, threw—as casually as brushing dust from his shoulder.

However, the titanium alloy throwing knife flashed past at a speed far beyond common sense.

It was only after it had flown nearly a thousand meters that a deafening boom sounded.

Su Ming narrowed his eyes, observing; the throwing knife vanished into the valley in a blink—it didn't hit any enemy.

40% power.

He did it on purpose.

It wasn't until he saw the throwing knife detonate a small pile of ammunition from a distance, and a large number of Terrorists poured out of the temporary Base, roaring and firing their guns but finding no target.

Su Ming threw another throwing knife...

This time he used 60% power.

The throwing knife emitted a supersonic sonic boom the instant it left his hand, disheveling Su Ming's hair.

When the rolling sandstorm reached the valley, no more gunshots could be heard.

The Ten Rings Gang bandits hadn't even had time to react when a cold light burst into their eyes, passed through their bodies, shredded their internal organs, and exploded their torsos...

Those unfortunate enough to be directly hit by the throwing knife had their bodies pierced, then further destroyed by the subsequent force, causing their entire bodies to explode in place, scattering into pieces.

Those fortunate enough not to be hit by the throwing knife were also blown off their feet and disoriented by the subsequent storm.

The valley had a special terrain, with only one small path.

There were quite a few lucky survivors from the throwing knife attack; after one strike, the ground was still covered with mangled limbs.

In the past, these Terrorists most enjoyed watching the red and White blood splatter when a head was blown open by a bullet. They never expected it would be their turn today—and it was their bodies that exploded.

Those who died on the spot were lucky.

The so-called survivors were left with only half a body, rolling on the ground, screaming and waiting for death.

The uninjured lucky ones stared with wide eyes, looking blankly at the sky; they simply didn't know what had happened...

Was it a bombing?

But they didn't see any planes!

Even if there were planes, the sound of the engines couldn't have escaped their ears.

What on earth was it?

...

"Thump... thump..."

The sandstorm gradually subsided.

Footsteps echoed in the valley.

The Terrorists had long lost the courage to face the unknown enemy; their drumming heartbeats were their biggest movement now.

Su Ming strolled into the valley; the effect of that one throw had exceeded his expectations.

Who would have thought that a mere throwing knife would produce an effect like a cannon?

"Tsk tsk tsk~ Truly miserable..."

Looking at the hellish scene around him, Su Ming, dressed in a scarlet suit and wearing a pure silver mask, sighed with his mouth, yet a wicked smile played on his lips.

He was clearly a noble messenger from hell.

The bandits finally saw their enemy...

No long guns or short cannons, no full armament, and no overwhelming numbers—just one person.

He was just one person!!

And he was wearing a flashy red formal suit!

And a mask!

But he's so handsome! Damn it!

When they realized that the enemy was only one person and had no powerful weapons, the bandits instantly forgot their earlier fear.

What's the use of being handsome and having a striking appearance??

We kill handsome guys!!

The AK47 in their hands was the truth of this World!

The bandits' brains finally went berserk under the triple stimulation of blood, violence, and jealousy!

They raised their weapons, screaming wildly, and pulled the trigger on Su Ming.

"Da da da..."

Su Ming flashed and disappeared.

He didn't want to ruin Old Tailor's painstaking work like this; while the scarlet suit and mask could prevent bullet damage, it was still best to avoid it as much as possible...

As he dodged, playing cards flew from his hand.

The force within a hundred meters was just enough to embed the playing cards deep into the bandits' skulls.

Screams once again reached a climax...

The slaughter had begun.
