After finding her own and her husband’s clothes, she planned to go to Vik’s room to find some clothes for Vik to wear, but as soon as she opened the door, she was startled.
Vik was sitting on the bed, hugging his knees, trembling. Ann quickly walked over, bent down, and gently placed her hand on Vik’s head, asking softly,
“Vik, didn’t I tell you to hide? Why did you come home? It’s too dangerous here, we need to leave quickly!”
However, before Vik could answer, she heard the sound of the door being broken down downstairs.

After Olens informed the security team about the arrival of the Pirates, he rushed home without stopping. Arriving at his doorstep, he saw the pried-open door.
He immediately thought, “Oh no, the Pirates are here.”
After entering, he faintly heard his wife’s shouts of refusal and a man’s lewd laughter from upstairs.
“Heh heh, I won’t do anything else, just let me kiss you and touch you, and I’ll let you go. Otherwise, I’ll get serious!”

Derick’s Claw Pirates looted the town for a whole day before leaving.
By then, the town was in ruins, with men and women who had resisted the Pirates lying dead everywhere.
It wasn’t until the Pirates left that the Marines, who had received the news, finally arrived. They left some Marines to rescue the injured, while the rest pursued the Pirates in the direction they had left.
