Chapter 103: God-making Plan

Inside the laboratory, Dr. Bulano narrowed his eyes slightly upon hearing this, his tone tinged with inquiry: “Jiang Mo, do you mean… you have a bigger research plan?”

Jiang Mo smiled faintly, speaking unhurriedly: “Dr. Bulano, your research achievements are indeed extraordinary, but it’s undeniable that these achievements still remain at the level of cloning and modifying existing Pokémon.”

“Are you content to spend your entire life doing these ‘childish’ things? Cloning and modifying, in the end, are nothing more than replication and Mimic.”

“But have you ever thought about being able to personally create an entirely new Pokémon species one day?”

This sentence was like a clap of thunder, exploding in Dr. Bulano’s heart.

His eyes instantly sharpened, and the indifference and persistence on his face were gradually replaced by an unconcealed fanaticism: “Create an entirely new species?”

“Jiang Mo, do you know what that means? That’s not simple gene splicing, but… completely acting as the creator!”

Jiang Mo nodded, continuing: “That’s right, this is an extremely arduous research, requiring breakthroughs of all traditional genetic science boundaries.”

“But, have you ever thought that this might be the ultimate goal of human science, and the pinnacle of Pokémon research?”

Dr. Bulano took a deep breath, his eyes gleaming with excitement, but he quickly frowned again: “Jiang Mo, what you’re saying is very moving, but the difficulty of this research cannot be solved by simply investing enough resources.”

“Creating a new species… just imagining it makes my scalp tingle!”

Jiang Mo smiled calmly, taking out a delicate small glass bottle, in which a light pink hair shimmered slightly under the light.

This was also Mew’s hair that Jiang Mo had just extracted from the game panel; he had planned this long ago after getting it from Mew.

“Dr. Bulano, look closely, what is this?”

Dr. Bulano’s pupils contracted sharply at first glance.

His hands involuntarily clenched, and his voice trembled slightly: “This… this is… Mew’s hair?”

Jiang Mo nodded: “That’s right, this is a real Mew hair. As a top expert in genetic research, you should understand what it means, right?”

Dr. Bulano’s face flushed with excitement, and he said with trembling lips: “Of course I understand!”

“Mew is the genetic source of all Pokémon, which means it possesses genetic samples of all Pokémon! If we use it as a base… many previously stalled researches will be easily solved!”

Jiang Mo’s tone was calm, but every word was like a heavy hammer, striking Dr. Bulano’s heart: “That’s why I said your research is too limited.”

“If we can create a new species comparable to a legendary beast based on Mew’s genes, that would be the true pinnacle of science.”

“I only used one strand of Mew’s hair to fix Eevee’s genetic disorder just now, and with just one strand having such an effect, I think it would be effortless for this project.”

Jiang Mo coaxed gently: “Dr. Bulano, I named this project the ‘god creation project’…”

As the four words “god creation project” came out, Dr. Bulano trembled all over, his eyes filled with shock and fanaticism.

He stared wide-eyed at Jiang Mo, as if confirming whether he had gone mad: “A species that can rival a legendary beast? Jiang Mo, do you know what you’re saying?”

Jiang Mo’s tone remained calm, but a hint of determination shone in his eyes: “Of course I know. This is not empty talk, but a goal that can be achieved.”

“As long as Mew’s genes are at the core, coupled with your genius mind and the resources of Dawn, this project is by no means a fantasy.”

Dr. Bulano’s breathing quickened, his gaze fixed on that strand of Mew’s hair, his heart pounding.

He knew that participating in such research would not only push his academic career to its peak but also realize his long-held dream—to become a true “creator.”

Seeing this, Jiang Mo gently handed the bottle of Mew’s hair to Dr. Bulano, with a hint of temptation in his voice: “Doctor, as long as you join Dawn, this research project will be entirely under your charge, and this Mew hair will also be yours.”

Dr. Bulano tremblingly reached out and took the bottle of Mew’s hair. Thinking about how Eevee had just used such a precious treasure, he instantly felt a pang of heartache.

However, Dr. Bulano quickly adjusted, his eyes gleaming, his whole person as if ignited, his face filled with fanaticism, and he said excitedly: “Jiang Mo… are you sure… you will really entrust such a project to me?”

Jiang Mo nodded, his tone firm: “Of course, Dr. Bulano, this is the stage you deserve.”

Dr. Bulano’s eyes gradually became frantic. He raised his head, as if finally having made up his mind: “Good! Jiang Mo, I agree! To hell with the North America Alliance! Is there anything more important than fulfilling one’s ideals?”

Upon hearing this, Jiang Mo smiled slightly, secretly relieved, and continued: “Dr. Bulano, welcome to Dawn.”

“From now on, the ‘god creation project’ will be entirely your responsibility.”

Lingxi, Bing Meng, and Chen Jiaxing stood aside, watching Dr. Bulano’s attitude change from initial cold resistance to current excitement and frenzy, their faces filled with shock and speechlessness.

Lingxi couldn’t help but whisper: “Young Master is indeed amazing. A few words were enough to completely fool this old man, even making him directly abandon the North America Alliance.”

Bing Meng nodded slightly, with a hint of admiration in her tone: “But this ‘god creation project’ is too outrageous… creating a new species that can rival a legendary beast? It sounds like a mythical story.”

Chen Jiaxing frowned, his expression serious: “Although it sounds incredible, if Young Master can say it, it’s probably true.”

Upon hearing this, Lingxi couldn’t help but look at Jiang Mo, her eyes full of complexity, and she murmured to herself: “How deep are Young Master’s plans? Even we can’t keep up with his thoughts anymore.”

Seeing that they couldn’t interject, the few of them quietly retreated.

After coming out, Bing Meng seemed very excited and said: “Sister Lingxi, if Young Master can really create a legendary beast, then our Dawn’s ideal will have hope!”

“A legendary beast? If it can really be done, then our Dawn will surely regain its glory one day…”

Lingxi’s eyes became incredibly firm. By then, Dawn’s only weakness would be filled, and they would no longer need to fear the Alliance.

Each Alliance had signed contracts with some legendary beasts since its inception.

The reason why the current Alliances, despite being so corrupt, can still stand strong is because they are all backed by legendary beasts.

That’s right, legendary beasts, legendary beasts with divine duties…
