After entering the cave, the group hurried along and soon reached the cavern where Jiang Mo had just discovered the steel plate.
Before them lay mountains of steel Pokémon ore and metal membranes scattered everywhere, gleaming with a cold, hard luster under the faint light of the cave, making the breathing of the North America Alliance and Huangsheng Group personnel quicken.
These metal membranes were different from the raw steel ore outside that required processing and refining; they were precious resources that could be used directly.
Taking even a little bit could bring endless wealth and prosperity, ensuring a lifetime of comfort.
For a time, the atmosphere in the cavern once again became tense.
Wealth moves hearts, and a burly man with fanatical eyes from the North America Alliance finally could not suppress the greed in his heart.
He rushed forward, his hands like rakes, frantically stuffing the scattered metal membranes into his backpack, muttering, “These are all mine, all mine!”
When the others saw this, they no longer cared about alliance friendship or previous agreements; their eyes also turned red, and they all followed suit, pouncing on the metal membranes, pushing and scrambling, and the cavern instantly became a chaotic mess.
The visible metal membranes on the ground were quickly picked clean, and everyone’s gaze then turned greedy and fierce, their attention shifting to the people from the Huangsheng Group.
After all, their backpacks looked bulging, presumably filled with many good things.
The Huangsheng Group members sensed the danger and tried to threaten them again with the same tactics as before, shouting, “Don’t mess with us!
If something happens to us, you won’t have it easy either; the Huangsheng Group will immediately tell the Shenzhou Alliance about all your affairs!”
But the North America Alliance members were fearless at this moment; the temptation of the metal membranes had made them lose their minds, their heads filled with these precious resources, and they cared nothing for the consequences.
A great battle was on the verge of breaking out, and both sides immediately summoned their Pokémon to fight.
One person from the North America Alliance was the first to throw a Poké Ball, and a Machoke appeared in the arena, its muscles tensed, letting out a roar of defiance towards the Huangsheng Group’s direction.
The Huangsheng Group was not to be outdone, sending out an Arbok.
The Arbok flicked its tongue, its eyes sinisterly fixed on the Machoke, its body coiling, ready for battle.
“Machoke, use Brick Break!” the North America Alliance Trainer shouted.
Machoke obeyed, its sturdy arms glowing with white light as it chopped down fiercely towards Arbok.
“Arbok, quickly dodge, use Poison Sting!” the Huangsheng Group member quickly commanded.
Arbok flexibly twisted its body, evading Machoke’s attack, then sprayed a series of black Poison Sting from its mouth, shooting towards Machoke.
Machoke was too slow to dodge and was hit a few times by the Poison Sting, its body trembling slightly, but it did not retreat; instead, it charged at Arbok even more furiously, grabbing Arbok’s body with both hands, slamming it to the ground, and then using Hell Roll.
On the other side, another person from the North America Alliance sent out an Onix.
The Onix’s massive body snaked its way through the cavern.
It opened its mouth and used Hyper Beam towards a Nidoking belonging to the Huangsheng Group.
Nidoking was also fearless; he stomped the ground forcefully, his spikes standing erect, and used the Earthquake skill.
The ground shook violently, and Onix’s Rock Blast was disrupted by this sudden tremor, veering off course.
“Nidoking, charge, use Horn Attack!” the Huangsheng Group Trainer shouted.
Nidoking lowered his head and charged towards Onix with his hard horn, while Onix countered with Iron Tail, fiercely striking Nidoking.
The two went back and forth, locked in an intense battle.
As the battle continued, the Huangsheng Group, due to their smaller numbers, quickly fell into a disadvantage.
Moreover, the North America Alliance members were fighting to kill, with fierce moves, completely disregarding the Pokémon’s safety, only wanting to quickly defeat the Huangsheng Group members and seize their resources.
Seeing the critical situation, and knowing there was no hope, the Huangsheng Group members steeled their hearts and released several Hisui Voltorb they had just caught in the Xicui Secret Realm.
These Hisui Voltorb glowed with unstable electricity, and their eyes revealed a look of determination.
“Hmph, since you won’t let us off easy, then let’s all go down together!” one of the Huangsheng Group members shouted, then commanded the Hisui Voltorb to use Self-Destruct.
Instantly, the cavern was filled with bright light, and a powerful explosion shockwave spread outwards.
The North America Alliance members were stunned by this sudden turn of events and had no time to dodge.
The blast of air from the explosion knocked them to the ground, and many Pokémon were also severely injured, letting out cries of pain.
“Ah! What’s happening?” “Help!”
The North America Alliance members screamed in terror, their faces covered in dust and fright, their bodies scarred by the impact of the explosion.
After a long while, the smoke gradually dissipated, revealing that all of the Huangsheng Group members were dead.
Of the dozen or so people from the North America Alliance, only five remained, and their Pokémon were all severely weakened, some dead, some injured, leaving a tragic scene.
“Get out first, and report the situation here!”
The captain of the North America Alliance side struggled to slowly get up, intending to leave quickly.
Before they could even catch their breath, they saw Jiang Mo standing in front, blocking their way.
Jiang Mo stood tall and straight, his gaze cold as he watched these disheveled individuals.
Behind him, Pupitar and Pikachu stood majestically on either side, their Pokémon emitting a powerful aura that intertwined with Jiang Mo’s presence, like a breathtaking painting.
Jiang Mo slightly raised his chin, a sinister smile on his face, and coldly said, “Trying to leave? Do you think you can still leave today?”
His voice was deep and authoritative, echoing through the cavern, making those who tried to leave the cavern tremble and immediately stop in their tracks.
“Who are you?”
One of them asked cautiously, his voice trembling slightly, both from the recent explosion and from wariness towards this suddenly appearing stranger.
Jiang Mo’s lips curved slightly upward, revealing a mocking smile, and he slowly said, “Did you get my permission to take my things?”
The North America Alliance members looked puzzled upon hearing this, exchanging glances, seemingly trying to recall when they had taken anything from this person.
A moment later, their captain seemed to react, his eyes turning fierce as he threatened, “Kid, we are from the North America Alliance.
I advise you not to be ungrateful.”
“Look at the situation now.
Although we’ve suffered losses, there are still five of us, and you are alone.
If you know what’s good for you, step aside quickly, otherwise, don’t blame us for being impolite!”
Jiang Mo, however, was not intimidated by his words; instead, his eyes grew colder.
He slightly raised his chin and said disdainfully, “So what if you’re the North America Alliance?
None of you are leaving here today; hand over all the metal membranes first.”
