Chapter 4: "Baby" MV shooting, Cameron Diaz

After recording 3 songs, the time had already entered March 22nd. The recording work, which was originally expected to take 25 days, was completed 3 days in advance, which also freed up more time for the subsequent MV shoot.

The MV production team was also formed, with the male lead Linton, Universal's assigned producer Carson, director Zach, and choreographer Annie forming the core of the crew.

Today's task was the casting of the female lead. Linton and Mira arrived at Universal's rehearsal room, which was crowded with many people, mostly beautiful girls with hot figures.

"Cameron Diaz," Annie called out a name.

A blonde girl walked out of the crowd, with a tall figure, a face full of collagen, and a pair of watery big eyes that made Linton's eyes light up instantly.

The girl stood somewhat nervously in front of the male dancer, waiting for the host's command.

"Start."

As the music began, the two started to perform. The girl indeed had a good ballet foundation; her movements were very precise, and her expressiveness was captivating.

Perfect, the movements were executed beautifully. Linton had made his choice in his heart; it was her.

In his previous life, Cameron Diaz had developed very well, entering the ranks of Hollywood's A-list actresses.

It seemed she only began to make her mark in Hollywood in 1993, starring in the fantasy comedy film the mask.

It's 91 now, so she should still be working as a model. Since we've met by chance, let me give her a push and help her become famous earlier. Who knows, it might even accelerate my Cultivation speed.

Linton didn't pay any attention to the performances of the others. After everyone had performed, when the four leaders of the MV shoot discussed the female lead, Linton clearly stated his choice for Cameron Diaz.

The others all had their own connections, but in the end, they all agreed with Linton's choice. Of course, Cameron Diaz's audition performance was indeed the best.

Zach's version of the "Baby" MV is very simple. The first half features various dances, some in schools, some on beaches, some in squares, highlighting handsome men and beautiful women, with beautiful dances, also hinting at a romantic relationship between the two.

The second half transforms into individual shots of the two in various scenic locations, expressing their subtle sadness through close-up shots, also hinting that the two have broken up but still have lingering feelings.

Overall, it somewhat fits the Concept of the song "Baby." Of course, the participation of various extras is indispensable, but the selection of these extras is not Linton's concern.

Another three days passed. That night, at the Hilton Hotel, two figures were engaged in an intense battle, from dusk until dawn. The battle only ceased because they had to consider filming the next day.

However, Linton also confirmed that at this time, Cameron was truly an unknown in the entertainment industry. During Dual Cultivation, he basically didn't feel any significant acceleration in his Cultivation improvement; it was just slightly faster than usual.

Next, let's see Cameron's performance. If she performs well, I might as well give her a push to become famous earlier, which can also help my Cultivation.

On the first day, as the two practiced their blocking, facing Cameron, who swayed her waist, took cat-like steps, and gracefully approached him, his heart warmed slightly, but he quickly suppressed it with willpower.

On the second day, the MV officially began filming. Accompanied by the music of "Baby," he embraced Cameron's waist. The smooth touch of her flat stomach, devoid of any excess fat, and her delicate skin, coupled with her appearance as if inviting him to do as he pleased, truly stirred his heart, yet he still held back.

On the third day, the filming of their dance was nearing its end. Cameron leaned back against him, her upper body slightly tilted backward, resting her head on his shoulder. He lowered his head and lightly kissed her fragrant shoulder, eliciting a soft giggle and a return kiss from her.

He finally couldn't resist. After filming ended and everyone dispersed, he directly pulled her to the nearest Hilton Hotel.

Donning a bathrobe, he emerged from the bathroom and looked at the exquisite, still-sleeping figure. A slight sense of smugness welled up in his heart. It had been a month since he Transmigration, and he had finally tasted the flavor, and it was with a goddess he couldn't touch in his previous life. Thinking about it still gave him a sense of accomplishment.

Picking up the phone, "Hello, what's for breakfast?"

"Okay, send up two sandwiches and a plate of strawberries."

In less than three minutes, the doorbell rang. "The service is quite fast..." He took out a tip from his wallet and opened the door.

After sending off the hotel attendant, Cameron had also woken up. Linton pulled her into his arms, "Let's eat something."

The two snuggled together, finishing breakfast. At 9:30, they arrived at the set together, only to see Carson shouting, "I won, Zach, pay up."

Zach reluctantly pulled out $100 and handed it to Carson, muttering, "I thought you two wouldn't be up this morning!"

Since the joint dance scenes had been filmed, what remained were separately filmed scenes. The subsequent filming was uneventful, but every evening, the two would get intimate at the hotel.

It must be said that Cameron's combat power and recovery ability were astonishing. Every day, they would battle from dusk until after 2 AM. Linton enjoyed it while Cultivating. Although the Cultivation bonus wasn't much, it was better than nothing.

The crew's makeup artist even asked her what cosmetics she used. At first, Cameron herself was a bit surprised. She was the same as usual, with no changes, so why did her complexion and skin look even better?

Later, she understood. It must be the changes brought about by daily 'exercise' with Linton. This gave her a huge surprise. Initially, she just wanted to thank Linton for his support in casting her, and because Linton was handsome and talented, she had only intended to have a temporary 'on-set romance' with him. Now, it seemed this relationship should be maintained long-term.

Furthermore, judging by Universal's emphasis, Linton would likely rise to fame quickly. Although their Domains were different—Linton taking the singer route and she definitely taking the film and television route—who could say what the future held? Linton was worth her long-term investment of energy. Besides, the happiness Linton had brought her these past few days was unimaginable before.

After a week, Zach announced that the MV shoot was wrapped. That evening, everyone had a simple wrap-up dinner. Zach announced the crew's disbandment and left with the film to edit.

That night, as usual, they were in bed at the Hilton Hotel. After a month of continuous high-intensity work, the next day was a rare day off. After asking about Cameron's work schedule and learning she had a day of rest, Linton took Cameron to Disney Land for a day of fun, relaxing thoroughly until evening.

It was fortunate that both of them were still unknowns who had just entered the entertainment industry; otherwise, they would have been surrounded by reporters, and scandals would have been flying everywhere.

This was probably Linton's last time to freely enjoy himself in a public place, unless his Cultivation in the future reached a level where he could interfere with the thoughts of those around him, making others subconsciously ignore him, but that was too far off.

After leaving Disney, the two had a candlelight dinner, and Linton took Cameron back to his new home. Upon returning to the small villa, Cameron happily let out a shout and lay comfortably on the sofa for a long time, unmoving.

Subsequently, Linton gave Cameron a tour of his house, after which the two became inseparable again. This battle was even more intense, perhaps because Cameron anticipated their imminent separation, she unleashed all her passion.

There was no rest; they fought until dawn. After sleeping for a mere two hours, Linton woke up first, prepared a simple breakfast, and after eating, Cameron had to leave.

Her agent had arranged an audition opportunity for her. There was no other way; as a newcomer just entering the entertainment industry, every opportunity could not be missed and had to be fought for with all her might. This was the Law of survival for newcomers in Hollywood.

However, despite only sleeping for two hours, Cameron felt unusually good, full of strength and confidence.

Before she left, Linton sincerely suggested that Cameron enroll in an acting class to improve her skills. Then, the two exchanged private phone numbers. Cameron asked, "Can I call you in the future?" Linton replied, "Always welcome." Cameron left satisfied, her agent already waiting in the car at the community entrance.
