"Yeah." He had been making a fuss for so long. If he didn't get up, grandma might ask his sisters to come upstairs and call him.
Sunuo went to the bathroom wearing wool slippers to wash his face and brush his teeth.
After that, she changed her clothes and followed Lu Hongxuan downstairs.
"Come down, eat quickly!" Grandma urged when she saw Sunuo.
Lu Hongxuan went to the yard.
Grandma sat in front of Sunuo and spoke softly.
"If you were at your husband's house, you might not get up so late."
"Grandma, it's not late! It's not even nine o'clock!" Sunuo said with a smile when he heard his grandma's words.
"As a daughter-in-law, it's better to get up early. Didn't your mother say that they have an aunt to help with cooking at home? Even though you don't have to cook, you should still get up early. That way, others won't gossip about you."
"Don't worry!" Sunuo knew that his grandmother was doing this for his own good. "His grandmother said that 9 o'clock is just the right time to get up, so there's no need to get up too early!"
"That's good!" Grandma Su was relieved to hear her granddaughter say this. She was afraid that her granddaughter would get up too late and her in-laws would gossip about her.
"Eat more! I know you like cured pork intestines and beef. I asked your mother to make these two dishes this morning!" The dishes for Su Nuo were specially left for her by Grandma Su.
"Thank you grandma!"
After dinner, Su Nuo went out and saw his father, Lu Hongxuan and a few uncles sitting by the pond fishing.
"Did you gain anything?" Su Nuo asked Lu Hongxuan in a low voice.
"Dad caught a small one!"
