Chapter 19: Arrogant Blood

Ninth District, Salia Ladies Machine Noble Academy.

Although called a Machine Academy, it was filled with the luxurious style of the Vido Royal Family, with architecture and courses revolving around tea ceremony, dance, etiquette, and business studies.

Only the steam fountain in the central area and the surrounding mechanical sculptures still had a bit of an industrial feel.

If one truly wanted to learn technology, it felt like it would be better to go to the Industrial Academy next door.

Andy walked along the school path, observing as she went, when suddenly, three people blocked her way as she passed a pavilion hosting a tea party.

“Oh, isn’t this the oil girl?”

The leader was a tall, brown-haired girl, good-looking, but with a sharp face and overly heavy makeup.

Behind her, on either side, were a fat girl and a short girl.

Li Andy couldn't help but frown; Miss Molly’s body instinctively produced a sense of timidity, which made him inexplicably irritated.

These are… the ones who bullied her?

The brown-haired girl sneered, approaching with her neck raised, as if looking down on people with her chin.

“I’m talking to you, you parvenu, you’re truly ill-mannered! How about I teach you on behalf of your mother?”

“Hahahaha…”

The two people beside her also burst into laughter.

As their clamor grew, people around them gradually gathered, their mocking gazes like sharp needles piercing her back.

Miss Molly’s body involuntarily trembled, and the rising fear made Li Andy, the “driver,” very displeased.

“Heh…”

Li Andy smiled, and this sudden laughter made the brown-haired girl and the onlookers momentarily stunned.

“Manners? No one really thinks they’re a noble, do they? Your makeup is as thick as a mask, and your brain is also covered in thick powder, so much so that you can’t even tell what you are anymore?”

The brown-haired girl stared with disbelief, as if seeing Miss Molly for the first time.

Li Andy urged Miss Molly to look up and smiled at her:

“The more a person lacks something, the more they like to emphasize it. You always have other people’s mothers on your lips; could it be… that you don’t have a mother?”

“You!”

The brown-haired girl’s ears instantly flushed with anger, and she raised her hand to slap Andy.

“Slap!”

The brown-haired girl froze.

Her left cheek was burning with pain.

And her right hand was still suspended in mid-air.

She turned to look at Miss Molly, who was smiling at her:

“You’re so slow.”

The brown-haired girl’s face instantly twisted, thick foundation cracking.

“You bitch!! You two, tear her face apart for me!”

“Slap!”

No sooner had she spoken than another slap landed on her face, the immense force directly sending her to the ground.

The fat and short girls froze for two seconds before angrily rolling up their sleeves and rushing over, completely devoid of any of the manners they had previously claimed.

“Slap! Slap!”

Two crisp slaps, and the fat one and the short one, fell to the ground in response.

The surrounding crowd couldn't help but gape.

Miss Molly stood calmly in the center, like a war god returned from an exaggerated drama.

Li Andy slowly approached the brown-haired girl, his elongated shadow engulfing her.

The brown-haired girl retreated, pointing at her with her finger:

“You bitch! Do you know who my father is?! I’ll make you regret this!”

Li Andy said nothing, grabbing her collar.

“Slap!”

“I…”

“Slap!”

“Stop…”

“Slap!”

“Wuwu…”

“Slap!”

“Slap!!”

The petite grey-haired girl, with a strange smile on her face, delivered slap after slap, cruelly. Regardless of whether the latter cursed or begged and cried.

The onlookers’ gazes gradually shifted from astonishment to terror.

After an unknown amount of time, the wailing had ceased, but the sound of slaps continued rhythmically.

Watching the gradually swollen red face, Li Andy’s body and mind became inexplicably joyful.

Hehe…

How about trying a knife instead?

I really want to dig out those eyes and play with them…

“Enough!”

Suddenly, a hand grabbed his wrist.

Li Andy was slightly startled, instantly snapping out of that strange state.

He looked back and saw a face that was all too familiar—Sophia.

This girl didn’t know at this moment that Miss Molly was Li Andy.

Sophia swallowed, “I… I don’t know what grudges you two had before, but if you keep hitting her, she might die.”

Miss Molly curled a smile, dropping the brown-haired girl who had already fainted:

“Oh, then thank you for the reminder.”

“No need.”

Sophia looked at her warily, carefully retreating back into the crowd.

Li Andy patted her skirt, slowly rising. The crowd, showing fear, consciously opened up from both sides, making way.

Li Andy smiled and slowly walked away in the silent air.

Hehe, Mad Blood really does make one’s head spin…

Academy, Dean’s Office.

Miss Molly took a sip of black tea, put down her teacup, and looked calmly at the Academy Dean dressed as a butler in front of her.

“Miss Molly, I’m glad you’ve recovered and returned to school.”

The Dean bowed slightly, but his brows were furrowed,

“I already know what happened just now. Miss Windsor’s words might have been inappropriate, but… were you perhaps a bit excessive?”

“Windsor, who is that?” Li Andy asked with a smile.

The Dean’s brows furrowed even tighter:

“Miss Windsor is the one you just bullied, and also… the daughter of the director of Jinshan Mining Company!”

Oh~ I remember now, the one that felt best to slap.

“So, you want me to apologize?”

“…It should be so.” The butler replied.

Li Andy smiled:

“Then when they bullied others, why didn’t you make them apologize? As a noble academy, you’ve truly mastered the art of slaves looking down on others.”

The Dean’s face instantly darkened:

“Please mind your words, Miss Molly!”

Li Andy scoffed disdainfully:

“An apology is impossible. I will inform my father and mother about this matter. Since you are so ineffective, then do not fear the situation escalating. Negotiations and discussions will not trouble you useless good-for-nothings.”

With that, she got up and left, leaving the Academy Dean with a livid face.

After leaving the Dean’s Office, Li Andy walked leisurely, deep in thought.

The bullying girl Windsor… shouldn’t be the killer; her mind seems too simple.

The butler Dean… doesn’t seem like it either.

Still too little information…

Then next, should I go find that Professor Higgins and test him?

But where is he? The diary doesn’t have a map…

Just then, a girl wearing glasses and holding a thick book suddenly peeked out from around the corner, then recoiled. After hesitating for several seconds, she finally mustered the courage to call out to her:

“Mo… Molly!”

Li Andy looked up, and even though he hadn’t seen her before, he instantly guessed her identity—Meilin, Miss Molly’s only friend at this academy.

Meilin hugged the book tightly, her eyes darting around, hesitating for two seconds, then bit her lip hard, saying with a slight sob:

“I’m… I’m sorry!”

Li Andy narrowed his eyes:

“Why are you apologizing?”

The girl with glasses looked up, tears welling in her eyes, “I’m sorry… when they bullied you, I… I hid in fear and couldn’t help you.”

Li Andy was silent for a few seconds, then a smile curled on his lips:

“It’s okay, I bullied them back.”

“Ah?”

Meilin was stunned, seemingly unaware of what had just happened,

“Then… you must be careful! I heard that Windsor’s family practices witchcraft!”

“Witchcraft?” Li Andy narrowed his eyes, “Who told you that?”

Meilin shrunk her neck, seemingly startled by Li Andy’s expression, and stammered in response:

“Just… what others said, many people know…”
