Chapter 79: Listing comments

Hello everyone, this is Huang Gua!

Still the old rules, let's talk about the main points first:

Ten chapters will be released at once tomorrow at 12 PM sharp.

Other bonus chapters will start from the second day. If the initial subscription exceeds 3,000, one more chapter will be added. Then, for every 500 increase, one more chapter will be added.

Alliance Leader… although it’s unlikely there will be any… but Huang Gua will still mention it… an Alliance Leader gets two bonus chapters…

Finally, after this burst period, probably in about a week, Huang Gua will accumulate some drafts and add one more chapter every day for a period of time. As for how long this period will last… that depends on whether Huang Gua’s leader is humane or not… it will not be less than a week at the shortest ~

During the year-end holidays, Huang Gua will also add more chapters for everyone!

Please subscribe for the first time! Please, this is really important to Huang Gua!

Even if you leave later, please support Huang Gua with a few cents, considering the joy Huang Gua brought you before!

Please!

Alright, next is the rambling section ~ Readers who are not interested can scroll away and wait for tomorrow's update at 12 PM sharp ~

Let’s start with a question: Huang Gua is not a small account.

Huang Gua has never published any text, under any pen name, on any platform, or received any manuscript fees (passionate writing of one or two tens of thousands of words, only the beginning part doesn’t count).

Everyone sees Huang Gua’s account as a new one, simply because Huang Gua wanted to differentiate his reading account from his writing account.

Huang Gua mentioned this in a previous single chapter, and many later book friends might not know.

Huang Gua really likes to write, but his readers were basically just Huang Gua himself. This hobby gradually faded after he started working.

If he had to say, ten years ago, Huang Gua chose the liberal arts, and that’s how it was.

Writing this book, at first, was just after a period of work ended, and he did well, feeling a surge of emotion, so he wrote an opening and published it.

Then he received a contract message, added his editor as a friend, and then gradually received recommendations, and more and more people started reading it.

Step by step, he made his way to where he is now, somewhat bewildered.

In this process, many people provided great help to Huang Gua.

First, I’d like to thank them here:

First is a senior, whose books you might have read. His ID is Qin Zhi Hua Qing, his representative work is “Heart Demon,” and he is currently serializing “The Underworld Painted Skin Scroll.” His writing is superb, and he is one of my favorite authors on Qidian.

101 Reading 101 kan.com Full manual, no errors.

Actually, it was by chance that Huang Gua added the senior’s QQ a few years ago while following “Heart Demon.” Then one day, when the plot got stuck and he didn’t know how to continue, he presumptuously asked him for advice.

Then he read my novel overnight, starting from midnight, chatting with Huang Gua about the outline, plot arrangements, character design, and how to write a good book, until 4 AM.

After Huang Gua went to sleep, when he woke up the next day, he could still see the messages he sent him later at 5 AM.

The outline of this book also gradually took shape during this process.

I am truly very grateful.

And then there’s my editor, Bacon.

It was Huang Gua’s first time writing a book, and he really didn’t understand some of the recommended terms, like first round, second round, Sanjiang, and small loudspeaker. So at first, I still treated this book as a simple hobby and didn’t take the editor’s words too seriously.

Later, after senior Qin Zhi Hua Qing explained the meaning and rarity of these terms to me, I realized how optimistic the editor was about this book.

After realizing that he could no longer treat this book with a childish attitude, he stayed up all night to write an outline and design, and found the editor to discuss it. That day, the editor also gave Huang Gua many suggestions, and one message he sent on QQ couldn’t even be displayed on an entire page.

As an aside, Bacon is really super friendly and gave Huang Gua a lot of encouragement!

I am very grateful for the help of these two, Huang Gua is really lucky.

There were also some readers’ conjectures about the plot and settings that Huang Gua felt were “Yes! How great it would be to write it this way!” after reading them, and Huang Gua kept some of them and added them to the plot of this book (which is what is known as “copying book reviews”).

Here, Huang Gua also wants to say thank you to everyone ~ Without everyone’s support, Huang Gua would not have reached the stage of being put on the shelves, thank you very much.

Finally, let’s talk about this book.

First, an aside, you might not believe it, but Huang Gua—is actually not much of a wuxia enthusiast.

Huang Gua probably only watched a few classic wuxia dramas when he was a child, such as “The Return of the Condor Heroes,” “The Proud Twins,” and “Number One in the World.” As for wuxia novels, Huang Gua really hasn’t read many.

Web novels… Huang Gua actually doesn’t read that many either.

Huang Gua’s personality is the type that is both stubborn and conservative.

For example, with novels, Huang Gua would rather reread a previous book than start a new one (if there’s a chance later, Huang Gua can share his reading list with everyone).

So, Huang Gua is not too familiar with the current trends in web novels, and the fact that this book has done well is actually quite unexpected for Huang Gua.

Back to the main topic.

The impetus to write a wuxia novel was actually a super, super niche wuxia novel that Huang Gua found in his grandfather’s box when he was ten years old.

When Huang Gua was young, he lived in a siheyuan (quadrangle courtyard). To the south was Huang Gua’s family’s bedroom, to the west was the washroom, to the east was the kitchen, to the north was the living room and storage room, and Huang Gua had a small room there where Huang Gua’s grandmother brewed wine and prayed.

In the middle was a small courtyard where Huang Gua’s grandmother planted a very tall cherry tree, whose cherries were very sour. There were also fig trees, roses, and toon trees. There was a small trellis where Huang Gua’s grandmother would plant grapes and Huang Gua, and in the summer, they could sit under it to enjoy the cool air.

Huang Gua remembers it was summer then, Huang Gua sat in the small courtyard, next to a fig tree laden with fruit. The cherry tree in the courtyard blocked the sunlight.

Huang Gua’s grandmother took two small puddings from the fridge, one for her and one for me, and the two of them sat in the courtyard. Huang Gua’s pet chicken, bought for fifty cents, walked “pat-pat” on the bluestone slab.

From the room behind, the faint sound of Grandpa watching TV could be heard. From the street outside, the “ding-a-ling” of bicycles drifted in.

After Huang Gua finished his ice cream, he picked a few more figs to eat. You might not know, but freshly picked figs have white sticky liquid at the stem. Huang Gua went to flip through the book without wiping his hands, and as a result, several pages stuck together.

Huang Gua’s grandmother helped Huang Gua tear the pages apart, then went to pour Huang Gua a bowl of her secret “kombucha.”

Huang Gua sat in the small courtyard, enjoying the breeze, drinking “kombucha,” and finished reading the book.

After Huang Gua’s grandparents passed away, the “kombucha” recipe was lost, and that novel could no longer be found.

This work is organized and uploaded by ~ ~

After all this talk, Huang Gua doesn’t know why this memory made Huang Gua want to “write a wuxia novel.”

Perhaps it was to continue that summer, that wuxia novel whose name he couldn’t remember.

It’s a bit funny to think that this book started being written in winter.

Unconsciously, he wrote so much, with many thoughts in his heart, but when put on paper, they still felt shallow.

Let’s leave it at that for now.

Thank you all for your support, Huang Gua will work hard to write this book well ~

Thank you very much ~ This is the novice author Huang Gua ~

Following Qidian’s convention, after some PY, Huang Gua sacrifices a few books here. If you’re interested, you can go check them out!

“Lord of Pro”

His name is Li Banfeng, the ‘feng’ of mountain peak, not the ‘feng’ of going crazy; the doctor said he’s not crazy.

Among the hundred sects under heaven, who contends for supremacy?

Among the myriad cultivators of Pro, who is the leader?

Banfeng put on a suit, wore a top hat, picked up a feather duster, and seriously asked: Tell me, who is the Lord of Pro?

“Shi Potian Transmigrates into Linghu Chong”

Shi Potian, who had just sworn brotherhood with Zhang San and Li Si, woke up to find himself transformed into Linghu Chong, the Mount Hua Sect’s senior disciple.

So…

Yue Buqun: “If you’re not Linghu Chong, then who are you?”

Shi Potian: “I am Doggy.”

Yue Buqun: “???”

“The Splashing Blade”

National arts, folk customs, strange tales, taboos, imperial court, jianghu, grandmasters, spell duels, crossing into the underworld, spirit mediumship, inviting gods, street performances, secret cults, immortality… The path of the jianghu is diverse, with all sorts of people and skills.

Within the Xuanmen, folk strange tales are myriad and bizarre.

This is a noisy era, an era where danger and opportunity coexist.

Li Yan walks with his horizontal blade, eventually dispelling all evil and becoming fearless!

“I’m Only One Year Old, What the Hell is a Counterattack System?!”

Absurd, a transmigrated infant is born into a demon world, and the counterattack system arrives thirty years early.
