Chapter 3: Multiple parties

“Meow!”

With an angry roar from one of the Shadow Cats, all the Shadow Cats charged at Li Xin.

At this moment, Li Xin was calm and composed, his Eternal God Brain operating frantically, calculating all the actions of the eight Shadow Cats with perfect clarity.

Under the siege of the eight Shadow Cats, Li Xin moved as if strolling leisurely, always dodging the Shadow Cats' claws with the smallest possible movements.

This made the Shadow Cats think they were just a hair's breadth away from killing the human in front of them, but they didn't know that a miss by a hair's breadth is as good as a mile.

Under the encirclement of the eight Shadow Cats, Li Xin persisted for ten minutes, never letting a Shadow Cat touch his clothes.

“Now, let’s try the sword technique!”

Next, Li Xin no longer simply dodged. His Blood Shadow Battle Sword aimed at the Shadow Cat's throat and he swept a horizontal cut. This time he didn't use his full strength, but controlled his power, merely cutting the Shadow Cat's throat without severing its neck.

“Pfft!!!”

His sword speed wasn't fast, yet it left the Shadow Cat, known for its speed, no chance to dodge. It even looked as if the Shadow Cat had run into Li Xin's battle sword itself.

In just five seconds, he made eight sword strikes, each one perfectly slitting a Shadow Cat's throat.

Eventually, all eight Shadow Cats lay on the ground, blood gushing from their throats, their demonic eyes turning white as they died.

“Although I calculated it well, I still didn’t control the force properly when striking with the sword; I used too much force!”

“Is this my body's coordination not keeping up with my thinking ability? This can only be compensated for through continuous practice.”

Although he had killed eight Shadow Cats, he was not satisfied. After all, his previous sword technique was only average, not superb.

“Now is a good time. I’ll use this actual combat to practice my sword technique. My body's sword strikes always deviate quite a bit from what I calculate in my mind!”

After cutting off the left ears of nine Shadow Cats and putting them into his backpack, he continued to search for monsters to practice his sword with.

He possessed the powerful calculation ability of the Eternal God Brain, so understanding sword techniques was not difficult. What was difficult was controlling his body, making his body keep up with his thought speed, which required long-term, continuous combat accumulation.

“Quick, quickly lock onto the quasi-Martial Artist being filmed by camera No. 32!”

In the monitoring room, the supervising officer's eyes suddenly lit up, and he immediately shouted loudly to the camera operator.

“Old Liu, have you found any good prospects?”

The other supervising personnel heard this and all walked over, wanting to see what was happening.

“Not good, I was careless!”

Seeing this scene, Major General Liu's face darkened. He felt he had been too excited just now and had attracted this group of people.

“Hiss, this little fellow is amazing! He's strolling leisurely under the siege of eight Shadow Cats. This is a subtle-level movement technique!”

“Look quickly, after he killed the Shadow Cats, he brought ten Tiger Mastiff Dogs to practice his sword. Although his sword technique is ordinary, it's becoming sharper little by little in his battles with the Tiger Mastiff Dogs, as if he's improving every moment.”

“Genius, this is definitely a Genius! Does anyone have his information?”

“…………”

When the supervising officers in the monitoring room saw Li Xin on the screen, their eyes all glowed with golden light.

Undoubtedly, in their eyes, Li Xin at this moment was a shining Genius, the Genius Martial Artist they, the major powers, most liked to recruit!

“The information has been found. His name is Li Xin. He comes from a small Family of a Warlord-level Martial Artist. He is a student of the Dojo of Limits. He is currently nineteen years old and became a quasi-Martial Artist a month ago. He has not joined any power.”

Soon, someone had investigated Li Xin's information.

“Nineteen years old, hasn't joined any power?”

Upon hearing this, the eyes of the many supervising officers present became even brighter. They all found excuses to leave, then pulled out their phones to call and report Li Xin's situation.

“Assessment over, all quasi-Martial Artists come out!”

When the designated time arrived, sounds came from the communication devices on all quasi-Martial Artists. The quasi-Martial Artists left Monster Town one after another and arrived at the previously assembled square.

“Bring out the left ears of the monsters you hunted!”

At the square, officers had already prepared and were waiting for these quasi-Martial Artists to come out.

“Lin Yifeng, eight monster left ears, left leg injured.”

“Fu Lingchuan, three monster left ears, left arm injured.”

“Chu Jingyi, two monster left ears, no injuries.”

“…………”

“Li Xin, three hundred and eight monster left ears, no injuries.”

When the officer called Li Xin's name, his voice was noticeably much louder than before.

“What? Three hundred and eight? Who is he? How can he be so strong?!”

“I've seen him. He was surrounded by more than a dozen monsters before, but he was able to kill all of them without a scratch. He's even more monstrous than a monster!”

“Li Xin? I haven't heard that name. Is he another Family's Genius?”

“…………”

Hearing the officer's words, everyone present looked at Li Xin, who was standing in front, in shock.

“How is that possible? How could his strength improve so quickly?”

Liu Yifan was very clear about Li Xin's strength. They had fought before, ending in a draw. He himself only managed to get eight monster left ears, so how could the other party get three hundred and eight?

“So your strength is this great. No wonder you didn't want to team up with me!”

Chu Hanling looked at Li Xin in front of her, a hint of complexity in her eyes.

“It’s the manager of the Dojo of Limits, and also the manager of the Thunder Martial Hall, and a Major General from the military! My heavens, so many important figures have come!!!”

Just then, a group of important figures walked out from outside Monster Town. Each of their identities was beyond the reach of these quasi-Martial Artists.

“Li Xin, I am Mu Jiaxiang, the manager of the Thunder Martial Hall Headquarters. Here, I first congratulate you on passing the Martial Artist assessment and becoming a true Martial Artist.”

“On behalf of the Thunder Martial Hall, I invite you to join us.”

“As long as you join our Thunder Martial Hall, we can provide you with 50 million in starting capital, as well as three Secret Manuals for movement technique, guiding technique, and attack methods, each not exceeding 200 million in price.”

“We can also sign a special training contract with you from the Thunder Martial Hall Global Headquarters. You should know that this year, our Thunder Martial Hall has only issued three such training contracts worldwide, and yours is the fourth.”

Just as the many important figures were walking together, Mu Jiaxiang suddenly accelerated and arrived in front of Li Xin.

“Damn Mu Jiaxiang, he’s not keeping his word!”

The others, seeing Mu Jiaxiang's shameless actions, began to curse in their hearts, but their actions were not slow either, fearing that Li Xin would directly agree to the other party.
