Chapter 3: Finally found the place

"Are you full?" Roland asked, clapping his hands.

"I'm done eating, sir," said Caslo.

"Let's go, hopefully we can find a village or town today and figure out where we are..." Roland sighed.

"Yes, sir." Caslo replied.

"Sir! We may be in trouble!" Suddenly, Casslo grabbed Roland's horse's head.

"This is the feces of the Gundaba wolf!" explained Kaslo.

"So..." Roland looked grim.

"Yes, there are Orc wolf riders nearby!"

"Damn it! Be alert!" Roland suddenly raised his tower shield.

"Bang!" An iron arrow was bounced away by the shield.

"Caslo! Summon your dragon! Go! Quick!" Roland screamed.

Shadows intertwined in the distant woods, and orcs riding on wolves rushed out from between the swaying branches, followed by a steady stream of orc infantry.

"Sir! We should have entered an orc territory!" Kaslo said bitterly, while quickly taking out the dragon flute to summon a flying dragon.

"For the glory of the knights! Charge!" Roland, with the flames of fighting spirit surging, urged the fighting spirit to cover his entire body and his horse, and then he rode his armored Sharma towards the army of hundreds of orcs.

"Swish!" Roland chopped off the ugly head of an orc with his sword.

"Bang!" Roland blocked the scimitar that was coming towards him with his tower shield, and then he stabbed it with his sword. The sharp dragon-slaying sword easily pierced the orc's chest.

"Ang!" An enthusiastic dragon roar sounded, and Kaslo rode the flying dragon into the air.

The Orc army was obviously stunned for a moment, giving Roland the opportunity to chop off a few more heads. The next second, a wind blade several meters wide was spit out from the dragon's mouth, which quickly turned into a series of palm-length wind blades. The dozen or so Orc wolf riders covered by the wind blades were quickly strangled into minced meat along with their wolves, which made Roland feel nauseous.

When Roland heard the obscure dragon language, he immediately turned his horse around and ran away. What a fool! Staying within the range of the dragon language magic, how crazy must one be to do such a thing?

The Wind Wing Dragon flapped its wings, and a tornado suddenly appeared. It grew thicker and thicker as it moved forward, sucking nearly half of the Orcs up into the air and throwing them hundreds of meters high. Then, they rained down on us...

"Roar!" Kaslo drove the flying dragon to chase the orcs. Wind blades fell from the sky and cut the orcs into pieces. Roland, who was following below, could only stare at the corpses in a daze. He didn't even have a chance to finish them off. After all, the orcs on the ground were either cut into pieces or turned into pieces. It was very cruel.

Finally, the last orc was blown to pieces at the edge of the woods, and Kaslo fell from the sky with satisfaction.

"Sir, it's all resolved!"

"Okay, that's enough. Put the dragon away! You ride this!" Roland pointed to a Shire horse next to him. This was the achievement of First Blood that the system had just rewarded him.

"No Grass Left: Completed. Successfully annihilated all the Orcs, leaving no one alive. Reward: 10 fully-armored apprentice knights."

Roland had already seen the final reward and was quite satisfied. After all, the apprentice knights with extraordinary powers were stronger than the most powerful cavalrymen, and there were 10 of them. Most importantly, they were fully armed.

Sure enough, after summoning these ten apprentice knights, Roland immediately thought it was a great sight! They were all wearing three-layered Sharma armor, fine steel plate armor, fine steel cross shields, fine steel longswords, fine steel lances, ironwood bows, and even a mithril combat hoe (specially designed for breaking armor, perfect for smashing even tin cans). They were truly armed to the teeth. Most impressively, they all wore cloaks emblazoned with the dragon emblem on their fine gold armor. The 12 of them looked mighty and imposing!

5 days later...

"Damn, is this a village?" Roland thought his eyes were blurring.

"Yes, sir. It's a village, but it doesn't look very friendly to us..." Kaslo said as he looked at the closed wooden gate and the militiamen who were on guard on the wall. With his sharp eyes, Kaslo could even see that their hands had already clicked on the bowstrings of their hunting bows.

"Oh! God! Guys, put away your weapons and relax!" Roland ordered.

After hearing this, everyone put away their weapons.

Roland rode his horse towards the village gate and looked at the villagers above.

"Excuse me, we are just travelers. We hope to find a place to stay. We can pay." Roland said sincerely.

"Really? Where are you from, outsiders?" an elderly villager spoke from above.

"Well, I come from the Eastern Empire, and these are the followers I recruited in Gondor." Roland took off his helmet.

As expected, looking at Roland with black hair and black eyes, the villagers above began to discuss. After a long while, the people above should have finished their discussion.

"Yes, you can come in and rest, but we hope you will not use weapons to fight in the village and do not disturb the villagers."

"As you wish, we are willing to comply." Roland agreed quickly.

"Creaky..." The wooden door was slowly pushed open, and Roland hurriedly called everyone to dismount and go in. As soon as he entered, Roland had a guess in his mind.

"I'm afraid I'm not in the Shire..." Roland said to himself, because he found a row of little "dwarves" standing in front of him. To be more precise, they should be hobbits or the "hobbits" that everyone is most familiar with!

"Hello, may I ask where we are? We are lost in the wilderness." Roland quickly grabbed someone and asked.

After some inquiries, it can be confirmed that Roland is now in the northernmost part of the Shire, and it is not the Middle-earth in the movie, but the continent in the Lord of the Rings.

"That's easy. I'm familiar with the map of the Lord of the Rings!" Roland rubbed his chin.

"By the way, what era is it now? Kaslo, go and find out."

"Yes, sir."

"What! 2940 of the Third Age!" Roland exclaimed in surprise.

"What's wrong, sir?" Kaslo asked with concern.

"There's something very interesting, and I'm thinking about whether we should get involved." Roland was referring to the expedition of the dwarves, which is the plot of The Hobbit.

"Thorin Oakenshield is a good friend. If we want to gain a foothold in this land, we still need to unite these forces that can be won over." Roland said to himself.

Because this is a remastered Middle-earth, the power structure has undergone significant changes, most notably the lack of gods! Coupled with the fact that there are many spellcasters (at least more than the original Middle-earth, which only had five wizards), no one knows what the outcome of this expedition will be. After all, in the original game, many lord players led the team to help Thorin and his men successfully recapture the Lonely Mountain.

"Let's go! To Hobbiton!" Roland finally decided to lend a hand.
