Chapter 47: Lord of the Stars

"Your Highness..." Renault was a little surprised to see that the barrier in front of him suddenly opened a door. The door was full of bright stars, as if he was in the starry sky at night.

"That's right, let's go in and see the legendary star elves!" Roland put the sword back into the scabbard and said lightly.

"Yes." Renault then put the dragon-patterned sword back in.

"call out!"

"Your Highness, be careful!"

"Dang!" Renault cut the arrow that was flying towards him with a sword.

Unexpectedly, as soon as the two of them set foot on the land of Singeri, they were met with a "warm welcome" by the star elves.

"Who are you? Why are you allowed to enter here?" the star elf in front of him asked coldly, pointing the longbow in his hand at the two of them from a distance.

Roland carefully examined the star elves in front of him and found that they were indeed different. They were all extremely handsome, with pale skin, and the most eye-catching feature was their long sky-blue hair. The elf in front of him looked like a ranger.

"Hello, respected elves. I am King Raglan of the east shore of Long Lake. I have come to visit your king to discuss important matters." Roland patted his chest in greeting.

"Human King? How do you know the secret code to enter here?" As the star elf in front of him said this, he pulled the bow in his hand a little further.

"Inheritance! My ancestors once received help from the star elves, and I am still here for our friendship." Roland activated the fighting spirit flame that was exclusive to the Paladin.

"..." The elf carefully observed Roland's fighting spirit, and finally put down his bow and arrow. He reached out and took out a magic flare and pulled it open. Suddenly, a golden star rushed up to a height of 100 meters and then enlarged and flashed.

"Wait here, someone will come pick you up soon!"

"What's going on?" A unique star elf rushed over, leading a group of elven rangers. Why was he unique? Because unlike other elves who wore light half-body armor, he wore heavy plate armor.

"Dragon Knight!" Renault whispered nervously, his hand quietly resting on the hilt of the dragon-patterned sword. If the situation goes wrong in a while, he will risk his life to escort his king away.

As a Paladin who rules the earth, Roland is of course very familiar with the Dragon Knight who rules the sky. The powerful dragon power surges on his body, and the word "Dragon Knight" is almost written on his face.

"Why is the secret door open? Huh? A human?" After closing the secret door casually, the dragon knight noticed the human in front of him.

"..." Roland's mouth twitched. Is he really so invisible?

"Damn it!" Renault's pupils shrank. The secret door behind him closed. Now he had no way to retreat. He unconsciously drew his sword.

"Huh? Interesting! The fourth-level paladin leader has drawn his sword in front of me!" The dragon knight said with interest.

"Haha, be fearless, the saint shines on the world! With a mortal body, you can stand on equal footing with gods! The Paladin is fearless!" Renault whispered, holding the sword in front of Roland.

"Interesting. How long has it been since humans have seen such a pure paladin?" The dragon knight lowered his head in thought.

"Could this be Peter Gro, the Star Dragon Knight?" Roland thought secretly. The Star Dragon and his knight in the game were already very old, but he now should be Peter Gro from thousands of years ago.

"Why are you here?" Peter Gro looked at the two of them. Those who can become paladins are all people with justice in their hearts. Of course, if they are corrupted, that is another matter.

"The north is shrouded in darkness. The dwarves, elves, and humans are in imminent danger!" Roland thought for a moment and said solemnly.

"Who are you?" Peter Gro couldn't help but be curious about Roland's identity. It seemed that Renault was standing in front of Roland just now, which meant that Roland was the one in charge among the two.

"King Lagrande!" Roland said proudly.

"Lagrande? Is there such a country?" Peter Gross thought for a long time but couldn't remember. Although Singeri was isolated from the world, they would always send a small number of people to various places to buy various items to enrich their lives, so they were not isolated from the news.

"She disappeared a long time ago. We are from the East..." Roland said concisely.

"Oh." Peter Gro nodded. After all, he had never paid attention to the ancient countries in the East.

"Come with me! I will take you to see the king." Peter Gro decided to take them to see their Elf King.

"Let me introduce myself. My name is Peter Gro, the Star Dragon Knight." Peter Gro said as he led the way.

"Well, hello, Knight Peter Gro." Roland and the other man greeted him.

"Come on!" After passing through a cozy tree house, Peter Gro brought the two of them to a magnificent elven building. In the huge elven palace, on a throne inlaid with various gems, a thin figure was lying on the throne, leaning on the armrest and shaking the wine glass in his hand.

"What's going on? Peter? Why did you bring two humans back?" the lonely king whispered.

"Ivy, they're here for help," Peter Gro said casually.

"Ask for help?" Iovia put down her wine glass and sat up.

"Yes, Your Majesty the Elf King. Darkness has enveloped the north. We have mobilized all our forces but are still defeated. So I came here to seek the help of the star elves according to the tradition of my ancestors." Roland said humbly.

"So someone still remembers us?" Iovia rubbed her chin.

"Where are you from?" Iovia asked curiously. He wanted to know where the people still remembered the hidden star elves.

"I am Roland, the current King of Lagran, and this is my Knight Commander Renault." Roland straightened his back. If you really consider Lagran's background, he can easily control these star elves.

"Hello, Your Highness Roland. Excuse me, please take a seat." Iovia stood up, bowed gracefully, and then arranged the two of them to sit in the seats next to her.

"Pa pa!" He clapped his hands lightly, and immediately several beautiful elf women came over and offered fruits and drinks.

"Please, try the specialty fruits of our star elves." Iovia smiled.

"You can call me Iovia. I am the current king of the star elves." Iovia said seriously.

"Sauron has made a comeback, and now his army threatens the entire North! I need your help! The Star Elves are the last reinforcements for the North." Roland said impatiently.

"I'm sorry, I'm afraid you don't know much about the past of the Star Elves... We have been secluded from the world for over three thousand years, and my people have become accustomed to a peaceful life. We may not be able to participate in this war." Iovia looked apologetic.

"Is it just because of the heavy losses you suffered back then that you have forgotten your hatred for Sauron?" Roland was certainly familiar with the past of the Star Elves.

During the Last War of the Alliance, in addition to the coalition led by Gil-galad, there were actually three independent armies that also participated in the battle. One was the elves of the Woodland Kingdom led by Thranduil's father, one was the elves of the Golden Forest, and the other was the Vanyar elves living in Rhovanion at the time. The three armies had different marching routes but met with the same result - heavy losses.

Nearly annihilated at the Black Gate, the Vanyar retreated with their people back to the present-day Mirkwood and headed north. Luckily, one of their number found the friendship of a wandering star dragon. Peter Gro, becoming a dragon rider, followed Iovia's father, Inas, as they journeyed north. No Orc army dared to provoke this desperate elven army...

Finally, when they arrived at Rhovanion, the seriously injured Elf King Inas finally passed away, and Iowa inherited the kingdom. Extremely disappointed with the Vanyar elves, Iowa changed her beliefs and no longer believed in the goddess of nature. They believed in the goddess of stars and called themselves the Lord of the Stars. Their long ice-blue hair covered their golden hair, and they became elves bathing under the stars in the dark night.

They are in darkness, but their hearts are toward the light!

Under the powerful dragon power of the star dragon, they created the star barrier, opened up a secret realm, and lived in seclusion from then on. This secret realm was called Singeri. Since then, there has been an elf tribe that believes in stars in the world.

"Haha, we once fought with passion, sacrificed, and given... in the end, it was nothing but betrayal!" Iovia was still bitter about the coalition's inaction in the face of the three elves storming the Black Gate, and furious that the woodland elves hadn't offered them a helping hand. (The three elves had resorted to a "fueling" tactic, attacking the city one by one despite being short in numbers.)

"Your Highness Eowia, I hope you understand the principle of "the lips and the teeth are cold". If the Lonely Mountain and the Long Lake are breached and the Woodland Kingdom ceases to exist, then Singer will be found by Sauron sooner or later!" Roland said solemnly.

"It's useless. We can't help you. We no longer have the ability to fight another war." Iovia waved her hands and sighed.
